Not all of you but I'll guarantee most of you have anemia . It's a big contributing factor for dark circles under your eyes . Get your hemoglobin checked to find out if you suffer from anemia . If you are anemic treat it ! If the dark circles don't improve after at least half a year of treatment look into liquid iron supplements. You may have a problem with absorbing the iron . I did and was switched to liquid. Good luck❤
Dark circles are different than bags though right? I take iron because yes I was anemic but I still have huge hallows. Wish there was a simple fix for that
The hard part is most people don’t look into the quality of the red light device. You need to make sure it’s up to the medical specifications. Just because they sell a red light device and show studies claiming all the benefits. Doesn’t mean their device has the same specs as what’s shown in the studies. It’s a loop hole many companies have done to sell products. True devices are extremely expensive but effective. Guess it depends on what your definition of effective is though. Many people expect drastic changes. I noticed a wonderful change in my skin. Better than I expected, but I also don’t have unrealistic expectations :)
I've gotten the hollows in this past year and they make it look like i have bad dark under eyes too. They really bother me. Ive been researching and really don't want to spend money on things that only last a year or 2 and then have them back. So i really think I want to go straight into the undereye surgery and while I'm at it I think i will do the upper eye for the hooded eye too. When I sell my house thats 1 thing I plan on doing for myself. I have always spent most of my time taking care of others since I was a little kid. I lost my husband a year ago after taking care of him being bedridden. I'm taking care of my mom after she hurt her hip. I have taken care of many elderly people and even more kids over the years. I really feel like i deserve to do something that makes me feel good about myself and these hollows make me feel really ugly and old. But I'm not much older than the dr doing these videos. I'm determined to start taking more time for myself.
I can relate to your comments on individual anatomy and different results. I had jelly roll Botox and found that my particular anatomy ( my lymphs) cause me to have a less than desirable result. Even after two months, the appearance was puffy, despite my attempts to massage and drain lymphs. It’s so true that not every procedure is for everybody!

Hi Doctor Stefani! I’m 39 years old, soon to be 40 😬 this past years I been using all kinds of creams for my face and under eyes I use retinol and tretinoin twice a week. I noticed my under eyes have gotten worse I have puffy and hollow under my eyes are making me look tired, sick and old. It does still work, though. Shw jyst happens to have the big gubs in her office so of course she wouldn't endorse something that would have to come in for many sessions vs one or two. I do the skin pen microneedling under my eyes on .5 every month.
Hi I have developed tear trough for the last past one month and melisma spots on my skin. I wish to get treatment from you. Kindly let me know where you office is located or alternatively let me know if there is good dermatologist near me in Dublin/ pleasanton CA
what about sagging upper eyelids? my upper and lower lids are tyrning down, and the skin on the lower are getting thin saggy and hollow. would microneedling be safe and effective for tightening this area?
When you use lasers on your under eyes and you do it to yourself, not wearing those internal eye shields I imagine, so you can see what you're doing- does that mean it's not dangerous or harmful to your eyes? I've never had any laser treatments, but I'm interested in starting so my under eyes stay looking as good as they can. The shields in the eyes keep me from getting it done. Can it be performed without those inside the eyes?
You’ve not mentioned biorevitalisation/ mesotherapy at all. There are so many injectables for the eye area. Which ones would you recommend, are they not as effective as thermage and laser?
I have a very important question...I have an eyebrow that is hanging down on my right sight and it is bothering me a lot. Eyelid correction operation is not an option because I have blepharitis...what is the best way to lift my eyebrows...dreadlift? Botox or what can I do? If anyone has any suggestions please comment below. Thanks, Sandy...

#AskTheDoc If you have small pigmentation spots above the orbital bone + near the lash line, would pico be best? No one will treat. Keep getting recommended peels which doesn't do anything.
Question: Dear Doctor Kappel - what do you think of Potenza RF Microneedling for treating under eye bags and skin laxity? It was just recommended to me here in Europe and I would love to have your thoughts. The doctor said It’s appropriate because I don’t have wrinkles and the downtime is less than Fraxel. Your thoughts?? Thanks so much!!! #AskTheDoc
She is not a fan of microneedling
It does still work, though. Shw jyst happens to have the big gubs in her office so of course she wouldn't endorse something that would have to come in for many sessions vs one or two. I do the skin pen microneedling under my eyes on .5 every month.
@heathermunoz6282 Thanks for letting me know!
Don’t do it. Look up RF micro needling and fat loss. It can actually age you.
Have you seen results under the eyes with microneedling?
