Jules is good and big but seems not to know it fully well, I personally never pass by any video with her on it. Jules is relatable, she doesn't paint herself a certain way, she communicates her weaknesses with no shame and expresses her desire to be and do better.... That's a big deal!!! She deserves all the dollars these corporates have to spend.
Dear Jules, I wish you understood just a tiny bit of how much your aura, authenticity, energy is so pure, and out of this world. You have won the hearts of different generations because of how you speak what NONE of us would dare speak. As Mike said, you lay it down as it is. It takes someone really powerful to present their weaknesses and strengths the way you do. We love you.
Jules is definitely worth that 650K. Or close to that. You’re so worth it. Your work is good. Your voice is heard far and wide. You’re a lot more influential than you seem to believe. You have such a huge fan base. Girl!!! 🌺 🌺 🌺
A lot of you in the comments are underestimating the amount of influence and impact Mike has had on this episode. He was here for a reason and from my take I’m glad he gave his raw experience, was open about things he struggles with even as being the only male on this episode and was like our mouthpiece in speaking his mind giving individuals like Jules their flowers in person just as some of us are in the comments. This episode has also introduced me to Sharon and I’ve loved how she was able to connect the content creation world to the corporate world bc for me as a starting creator, it’s given me a lot of answers to my questions. Murugi is so inspiring. I adore how positive, abundant her mindset is and it feels like when people shut doors to certain deals they see it as a closed opportunity but she views it as her opening her hand to something worth more and greater. Her mindset is powerful and unstoppable and she’s not yet overflowing, I love it. Jules is an icon. I’ve watched her from over 25 to her growing more and more into an iconic content creator and honestly, every time she speaks seeing a window of life from her eyes is always so greatly impactful and mind blowing. I feel greatly moved every time she talks about not fitting in while in Corprate and feeling like she’s not where she is and she desires more. Even though I’m 21 I’ve been there. And it sucks to know the weight if your potential or dreams and not have the ladder to even touch the hem of them. I’m seeing people in the comments bashing her for being ‘insecure’. My take is that Jules’ journey has always been different but even through the screen it’s honest and personalized and it’s for a reason. She will get her flowers she will get there she will be beyond 650K. She’s on her own path and she will be the greatness she is. Jules I never skip a reel, you are adored and loved out here. Rooting for you and thank you for always inspiring me from the age of 14. Hopefully one day I get to work with you and hang out with you it would be an honour. Thank you for being you. Rooting for you always!❤️
Jules! you’re the biggest most influential creator on the internet in my opinion..your authenticity, relatability and vibe is unmatched!! I watch every content you exist in and I am sure many people relate. If any person deserves the bag for content it’s you babes!! I love you 🫶🏽🫶🏽.. Hope I one day meet you on the streets of Nairobi so that I tell you this to your face. ❤❤
This was a powerhouse. The four personalities blended in so well in this episode. Murugi has a very rich money personality and abundance mindset which we all admire. I love the way Mike uses his sense of humor and still drives the point home. Sharon is gorgeous and very real, not scared of being vulnerable and asks the right questions. I can't describe Jules enough here, she needs a separate comment paragraph.🤣🤣
Most of Julia's followers here wondering: What is this lovely lady always afraid of? As a loyal follower, I don't get it... Btw, just so you know, if you did a live experience we'd come. Just putting it out there.
I realized this in Over 25 when she got shocked that Ivy was buying her first land. Ivy just responded comfortably. She picked on her how Ivy always spoke big things, believed in herself and who she is .... Jules please Own what we see. You are this big to us I swear....
Best Episode Ever! I am not even a content creator (YET) but the notes I have taken. As a person in corporate, this can easily be connected to salary negotiation. Learning to walk out whenever the offer does not match your worth is very necessary.
Jules you're really underestimating yourself. Come on hun.. how many years have you been in the industry for? You are definitely worth more than what you think. Also I think your realness always stands out because you're always ready to be vulnerable and talk about your struggles, especially with your journey as a creative. Keep going Jules 👏 Also guys, I have really enjoyed this episode. Murugi is my icon. I worship the ground she walks on.
As always, I’ve come from Spotify to like and comment. This comment is a Jules fan comment. I absolutely ADORE Jules, she makes things REAL, she speaks for the people, she shines a light on perspectives that people may not see and she does it so well. And everytime. It’s not in any way invalidating someone’s experience, talent or growth but truth of the matter is - some people are more privileged than others which makes attaining dreams and goals a lot more achievable compared, period! Should that now stop you from trying at all? No! It just means you have to grind harder BUT the fruits of your labour will always taste sweeter. Thank you, Jules, thank you each and every single time when you put a spotlight on something which otherwise wouldn’t have been done
Feels like Jules has a little chip on her shoulder. U can be Murugi, just learn how and what about her that makes her unique instead of attributing part of her success to having a supportive husband. I believe shes able to cop 650k off of a campaign in her own right and using her God given talents and abilities as well as amass that much off of her platform cause she has a unique skillset that shes able to harness to which you also can get to have if you actually seek out lessons and know-how from her or even any other content creator that you may be admiring out there. Damn cause that came off a bit rude and a little condescending especially directing it to a guest and a fellow creator. Just my two cents. Also Jules in case no one has told you, you're also a superstar - it's just that you need to stop comparing yourself but I know that for you it's really not comparing per se but maybe you aspire more for yourself even more than Murugi but trust your journey, keep learning, adjusting, keep being you and always appreciate where you are cause honestly you're crushing it as it is. In your own way and in your own right. And just like Murugi has told you get that bag, wacha kulalisha. Ask for that mili you're that bitch!
I agree. I think she was trying to point out that they have a safety net that many new or up-and-coming creators might not have, but like you said, it wasn't conveyed in the best way. Also, I was just as surprised as everyone else when she mentioned she doesn't earn as much, especially considering one of her closest friends, Ivy, is a leader in the "Making More" space. Maybe she doesn't ask for help from more successful peers because she feels confident she can hit that $650 or more on her own or from fear of being vulnerable to them. Overall an amazing conversation and it will help those coming up!
This is my first time seeing Julia right (business) brain activated. She knows wtf she is saying. Her experience with both sides of the marketing industry - Agencies & Influencer marketing I think is what culminates into her 360 understanding of media as a whole.
Mike's interruptions, especially towards Murugi, undermined the podcast's potential🤦🏽♀️. Turn-taking is essential for a fair and insightful discussion. We need Murugi back( from an in-betweener), Jules you’re authentic ❤
In reality, if you have a safety net, it's easier to navigate the streets. Even quitting a job, you need a safety net as a functional adult. However, that doesn't stop us from dreaming big and trusting our instincts. This was a good conversation. Also, Murugi is who she thinks she is, and Jules, please believe in yourself more...shazzy continue moving the same way. Mike, please learn communication ethics😅.
Listening to this on a slow Saturday morning just made my whole day. I loved the views shared on the podcast so inspirational. ngl Jules, you are son influential!!! I love Murugi's view on things, reminds me of my mentor when she says "Everything you want and everything you need, is on the side of fear". Cant wait for the next one
I hear you though I feel that outside of her ow platforms, Murugi is very guarded. She would have spoken more if the conversation was structured and the host(s) asked questions directed at her.
Aki guys!!! I think you guys should get Murugi alone on another episode. She didn't get to give her opinions without being interrupted. The guests are amazing but might be mismatched.
I totally validate Muchiri’s opinion about living by yourself and appreciating your space before you get a companion. I live abroad and just after settling down, 2 months in, I let a relative that was having it hard move in with me. It’s been 5 years and I’m feeling miserable and starting to become resentful. I’m now ready to move on and create my own space again. ❤
Wuuueh ile mbio nimekimbia nayo huku 😂😂😂. I'm always looking forward to places Murugi huongea Mama Maiko asanti sana for coming ( nunuria baba yako maguta na vile akona ngosi ngumu 😂😂) and of cause Julia Gaitho❤❤❤love love her . IRIP for lifee❤
Honestly, this didn't feel like a conversation. It just felt like Muchiri Mike just went on and on about himself. There was potential for great conversation topics to come out of this like when Jules asked Murugi where her fearlessness comes from. Murugi's answer was quite interesting and i would have really loved to hear more from her and everyone else's views but then Mike completely diverted the topic and once again made it about himself. I absolutely love this podcast and i'm a fan of everyone here individually but for this episode there was just a mismatch of the guests. Also; This is my petition for Murugi to come back. Murugi and Jules are a dynamic duo. I also love Sharz sweet persona.
Mike said he doesn't do interviews or podcasts. Cut him some slack. Also, note he is way younger than the rest of them. Don't you have Gen Zs in your houses and offices? He could have toned down yes but I dont think he was that bad. Murugi, always a joy. Always very insightful. I think the hosts should consider having her on her own as a guest. She is a power house in content creation.
I also had that ka thing of why dint i have this at this stage in my life like jules but ive made a decision to stop,to just remember am an imperfect human running my own race and diffrent journey....Enjoying my current to the full
Jules needs to believe in herself more and trust in her capabilities. Not try and equate another womans success and audacity to ask for her worth to her having a rich husband. It might have been the case in the beginning but currently boss babe Murugi is doing her thing and killing it.
Jules was projecting her insecurities and feeding her anxiety by trying to convince herself that she is in a disadvantaged position and that's why others are 'doing' better or 'seem to have it easy'. It's you, girl. You simply aren't taking the risks, and you might need to believe in your awesomeness and stop invalidating other people's success. The Google money and rich husband thing, even as a joke, is telling us a lot about your self-confidence. I wish Lydia KM had been present; she would have pointed that out.
I think she makes a valid point though to some extent... They’s a form of comfort that comes with taking risks when you know you have a fall back plan. However, Jules tends to have a lot more excuses of why she can’t as opposed to why she can or should. She’s already pointed it out as one of her weakness, and I think it’s something she realizes she has to constantly work on. It’s not easy, and I can relate cause I am the same way.
This was a good convo. Shocked that content creators don’t know this much info. I think content creators need to see their work as a businesss and get legal please.
Nice conversation from all of them ❤❤they are all great😊i was just going through the comment section to see if people noted how julia undermined herself and what she said to murugi and sharon…..but most people are on mike 😅😅please i saw no problem him adding an opinion even if even if the questions were not directed to him😊the energy on the comment section is giving “parents favouring one sibling 😅😅Murugi is a big brand but also the others are doing well and deserve to be heard too😊😊and they all deserve tgeir flowers ❤❤❤
This was soo good all round. Very valid perspectives. However, at some point it got a bit chaotic and you guys were overlapping ( for lack of a better word) when talking. Love the content and here for it always ❤.
I love that you all shared your experiences respectfully. Also shout to Murugi's boldness. Can she package it in a bottle lol. There's a lot of "cliqueish" energy in the influencer space. It's like there are some people you need to be cool with to achieve a certain level of success.
This was a really great episode. The one feedback I’d give is there was a lot of interruption - we didn’t get to hear people finish their thoughts a lot.
I get that Murugi you charge forward fearlessly without considering “downside risks” coz only dampen your spirits… but I think you are low-key very smart (at least street smart) so your discernment + intuition might be objectively better than other people’s when taking risks. That coupled with financial backing those are very huge factors drawing your odds towards success. Not to say you should not preach your methods to others at all, but many people cannot quickly do the internal maths and feasibility assessments as quick as a very intelligent person, they can actually make serious mistakes if they don’t walk with caution. (Could expound more but space is limited for now)
I agree with mike, its exhausting to see kenyans talent being compared to everyone else… its NOT COMPLEMENTARY at all. Kenyan talent lose authenticity and lose talent value because we just dont want to be and push us!
The fact that I can choose Gin cause of Julia any day just because of her influence shows how valuable she truly is. So go ahead and confidently demand that monthly cut, and watch them deliver-haha, that car is coming home, girl!😍🤪
Beats the purpose why Murugi was on the Pod,she hardly spoke and was constantly interrupted by Mike even when the questions were not directed to him. I felt like Jules and Mike had the most airtime. I wish they could do this again but separately.
I’ve just read a couple of comments and apparently I’m not the only one raving about Jules - girl! What do we have to do for you to exceed your worth! As Beyoncé says, step out of your estimate, step in your essence and RISE! Getting paid 650k ksh should not be impressive when we see you worth millions considering how much you bring to the table!
The two piece sets are very gorgeoussss on each host. I wish the episode was more structured, with actual talking points as it feels like it is all over the place.
The girls were deep in the sauce with living in your 20s and 30s with or without a husband and kids.. Muchiri akamalizia with 'that's a peculiar conversation' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love the podcast, but the only issue is not allowing one person to finish their points. Maybe try to let each guest state their point without everyone jumping in to say their side. Most of us have the same problem, so we know it's a work in progress, but it will allow the audience to hear different perspectives. Maybe the moderator can try to emphasize it more . All in all, you guys have a great podcast with interesting topics.

Thanks for saying it. I see this in her. She's so smart

Here to say YES JULES ,!!!!In my mind you’re at the same level as Murugi. You’re so influential!!!!
I keep hoping she looks at herself being more and more. Remember Over 25 was her thingy... TMI is like over 25 small extension with now two hosts..
I agree🖤. I’ve never skipped a single story or content from Jules. Honestly, I could listen to her forever and still not get enough.🖤

stresssing Mike's point on how real Jules is. Her authenticity is what made me even want to listen to podcasts. So grateful for her presence

I'm loving the twinning by the hosts Jules & Shaz🔥🔥👌🏾. Always great to see Murugi Munyi❤in betweeners hoyee🎉. Mike Shujaa wetu✊🏾🇰🇪 is just good vibes.
Here for murugi 😍😍😍
I get that Murugi you charge forward fearlessly without considering “downside risks” coz only dampen your spirits… but I think you are low-key very smart (at least street smart) so your discernment + intuition might be objectively better than other people’s when taking risks. That coupled with financial backing those are very huge factors drawing your odds towards success. Not to say you should not preach your methods to others at all, but many people cannot quickly do the internal maths and feasibility assessments as quick as a very intelligent person, they can actually make serious mistakes if they don’t walk with caution. (Could expound more but space is limited for now)

Here for MURUGI🔥🔥🔥
Jules OMG I think I know the creative you are referring (Sharon Mundia)! I love Jules so much.
That hair Jules,that hair❤❤
jules you are the real deal.you are sharp girl.......
Anywhere Jules is in am in.. girl you full of wisdom ❤❤
I agree with mike, its exhausting to see kenyans talent being compared to everyone else… its NOT COMPLEMENTARY at all. Kenyan talent lose authenticity and lose talent value because we just dont want to be and push us!
Love me some murugi munyi❤️❤️
the matchy matchy is so good .... yall should do that more often
So glad you loved the matchy matchy vibes!😊
We'll definitely keep that in mind and bring more of those looks your way.
Mama Maiko nakupenda bure. Jules i am forever your fan and you can definitely make that 700k per month. Go get your money girl.
The fact that I can choose Gin cause of Julia any day just because of her influence shows how valuable she truly is. So go ahead and confidently demand that monthly cut, and watch them deliver-haha, that car is coming home, girl!😍🤪
I have learnt so much from this episode. Thank you IRIP.
Yayyy🤗 Thank you for tuning in!
Nice conversation
I love love love Jules
Beats the purpose why Murugi was on the Pod,she hardly spoke and was constantly interrupted by Mike even when the questions were not directed to him. I felt like Jules and Mike had the most airtime. I wish they could do this again but separately.
We really don't mind a 2 hour podcast sessions. I feel like the hosts and guests usually have really hot🔥 points but they really never get exhausted.
Jules need to do something, where is this fear coming from I wish she knows we worship the ground she walks on
Thankyou so much IRIP and murugi and mike...love you guys and always rooting for you❤❤❤
❤❤
S/O to Noni ❤ she has intentionally remained a part of irip while miles away.
🙏🏾💜
So great to get a perspective of your world
Great series
Thank you for tuning in✨
this one deserves millions views and subs yoh
The two piece sets are very gorgeoussss on each host.
I wish the episode was more structured, with actual talking points as it feels like it is all over the place.
My favourite always jules live long honey we love you
Jules you can make that 650K ❤❤❤
The girls were deep in the sauce with living in your 20s and 30s with or without a husband and kids.. Muchiri akamalizia with 'that's a peculiar conversation' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We needed more from Murugi.Mike kept interrupting.Joules and shaz need to balance the convo better
Great episode. I learnt alot.
Murugi having a rich husband has been a real problem on this episode 😂
Y'all need to cut mike some slack. I'm here because he's in this episode
Jules you should charge at least 700 , let’s be serious
Thank you
I love the podcast, but the only issue is not allowing one person to finish their points.
