LOL you did an excellent job bro. But PLEASE do more research. MK1 was ported to the Game Boy in 1993. Game Boy Color did not come out til 1998, which was the same year Pokemon came out. Respectable job but please do more research so you'll get more subs and views bro!

I loved this video. Probably because I had many of these games you talked about. Regarding MK1 on GameBoy... I played that game A LOT as a kid. Wanna know something cool about it? I believe it is the only MK1 game that actually let you play as Goro if you did some kind of secret code. I distinctly remember playing as him. It was cool for the time.

Technically mortal kombat came out way way before the gameboy color and pokemon it was on the original gameboy up to number 3 number 4 was on the color.
Mortal Kombat 2 on Game Boy was pretty good but the rest of them suck til Deadly Alliance came out.
At any point when you were playing MK on Gameboy Color...did it occur to you that it wasn't in color? That's just Gameboy not GBC. Pokemon also released in 1996 and MK on Gameboy released in 1993, it had nothing to do with pokemon.
Yup. Dude needs to do his homework beforehand. Respectable effort though, but yeah needs some definite research to have a more accurate review.
Revisionist history. Those GB ports were made for the ORIGINAL Game Boy hardware, before Pokémon was even a thing, not the GB Color. The ONLY one of those MK games actually made for GBC was MK4 and it was a quick cash grab based somewhat on what they did with the busted MK3 which was trash on both platforms. MK2 was actually extremely impressive on that hardware especially after the very disappointing GG version of it. MK1, and 3 were pretty trash, but that’s mainly due to the publisher just wanting to make a quick buck (MK1’s renderer was ALL on a background layer and used none of the GB sprite hardware, unlike MK2) Crayfish interactive and Takara more than proved the hardware was capable of a decent to good experience if you put the proper planning into it.
In my personal opinion, Mortal Kombat 4 on Gameboy Color was the worst.
