Print on demand is a fantastic merch solution for music artists and bands because you don't have to take the risk of buying and storing inventory that might never sell. You can easily list products on your store, and if you're using Shopify link it directly to your Spotify profile.

    This is really helpful for indie musicians, and your videos has been really valuable. I'm always referencing this channel to my fellow musicians for best practices in music marketing. Thanks a lot Andrew!

    I used Printful for years, as well as ones like Tee-Spring & Zazzle. Almost all of them gave me shipping issues where they would be made and shipped, but never arrive at some peoples address', even after contact with the company and reordering. They are definitely hassle free for the artist, just make sure if you order anything other than embroidered stuff from these sites that you AIR DRY, the prints crack instantly after the first tumble dry.

    Perfect timing as I've been considering doing this for a while but haven't done the research yet to find a good print-on-demand company so this is definitely a good place to start. Thanks

    I’ve been using printful with Shopify and def recommend both. Even can integrate the products into a Facebook shop and Instagram shopping posts.

    I personally don't use print on demand services because I like to add a personal touch to evey order (little gifts, signed cards, personal messages, etc), I also like to offer handmade stuff to my fans. And we sell our merch at live shows so it's much more convinient to have some stock at hand. On the other hand, of course, you have to store it somewhere😅

    I've used tee spring for a while. The quality can be variable because I think they use printing services that are local to the buyer. My samples have always been nice though.

    any thoughts on using marquees for spotify? saw a video from spotify for artists explaining it and it seems like it could be a good investment

    Idk these services always seem like the quality will be lower.

      It depends. For ink they use DTG printing which is very similar to screen printing in feel, but it definitely doesn't last as long as a true screen print (maybe half as many washes). For some shirts you can do sewed designers or sublimation printing which are both permanent and shouldn't have any quality impact.

    • @AndrewSouthworth
      @AndrewSouthworth  8 месяцев назад

      Nope. Apparently Printful does have an affiliate program, but I just learned this so i'm not part of it.

    Ok so you use a company called Printful? Why did you choose them over TeeSpring? TeeSpring was gunna be the first service I tried out

      @AndrewSouthworth  2 года назад +1

      Printful has a direct integration with Shopify / WooCommerce and other platforms. Not sure if TeeSpring lets you sell outside of their website.
