Bamberg Sightseeing: Things to do in Bamberg Germany!

This video will go over Bamberg sightseeing and some of my favorite things to do in Bamberg. This was my first time to the city, so I went to FB to get recommendations. The city reminds me of northern Italy and Germany mixed together. You can catch a gondola ride on the Regnitz river (Klein Venedig), enjoy world famous smoked beer, or get lost in the half-timbered houses throughout old town.

Here's my detailed list of things to do in Bamberg:
- Drink smoked beer at Schlenkerla, die historische Rauchbierbrauerei
- Watch or ride the boat passings of little Italy (Klein Venedig)
- Snap some pictures of the old rathaus
- Climb up to the Bamberg Cathedral
- Go deep underground in "die Katakomben" caves
- Finish your day looking over the city at Altenburg Castle

I was lucky enough to be stationed at Warner Barracks for 3 years. Bamberg is a fantastic place to live.
Bamberg is my mom's hometown! Every summer she sent me over to stay with my grandparents for the season.

Nice job Daniel, I love Bamberg. I was stationed about 30 K's away in Schweinfurt. I used to take the train to Bamberg from Schweinfurt on week-ends and chillax there in Bamberg. As soon as they let Americans in I will be on the next flight out lol.:).
