I only watch this video because I had a grilled bamberger bratwurst in a street market in Berlin and it was the best sausage I've ever had in my whole life. Very juicy and smoky with garlic and whole caraway seeds. Really amazing.
I’m all in for a sausage and beer breakfast.
And pretzel and sweet mustard. Dont forget that. We need a well rounded diet 😉
@@WoltersWorldEats I never found the German version of the full English/Scottish/Irish breakfast when we were in Germany in 2022. I might have just found it.
Feel free to mention when you should be near the region of Altmühlfranken. Beautiful lakes, good food and cozy small cities as also the most northern Bavarian border of the Roman Empire (Limes).

There's no such thing as a Bamberger Bratwurst but Fränkische Bratwurst. Weißwürste are actually a Bavarian thing. Those Onions are special huge ones which taste different than normal ones. It's "Schäufela". Try Kloß mit Soß 🤗
Bamberger brats look very similar Nuremberger brats, which are my all time favorites. Does anyone know if there a history between the two?
I love Nurenberger brats, too. I lived in Bamberg for about 11 months, in 1963 and then 10 years later I lived in Nurenberg and Ansbach for over three years and during the 10 years I was surprised to find out Bamberg celebrated it's 1,000th birthday. Also, I noticed you would no longer be able to find the German potato salad but they only had pomfrits (french fried potatoes).
Been there, done that. And it's just as you described. First is weird and you think maybe you made an error ordering it but at the end of the glass you love it.
Its so true. I still remember it like it was yesterday. Gave my dad one the first time he was in bamberg in the early 2000s and i could see his face change after a few sips.

Bamberg gets so many German tourists as they come for the beer, is famous in Germany for the incredible varieties of Amazing beer from so many small breweries, and are also extremely cheap compared to the rest of the country
i am with you on the Schaeufele. still, the Krenfleisch, what makes it KrenFleisch is the Kren. Eat some with it. Meerrettich.
