I removed the center stand from mine, put on some dunlop sportsmart with a 180 tire on the back. It's good fun in the corners.

ayy congrats for the 100K, finally! Usually I hear two things about KTMs, they’re all lots of fun and they always find the craziest ways to break down 😂 Seems like KTM as a company is going tits up afaik, let’s hope they recover somehow.

Yeah i've heard some crazy stories about KTM bikes and their problems. Not sure I would feel safe to own one myself. But then again, some people have had luck and had not issues at all. Roll with soul said in the comment section that a F1 driver will be investing in KTM so will be fun to follow up on that.

@@Darkvisor ppl who bought them had pieces rattling loose and falling off. Some were engine parts, didn’t like rough roads

I've heard many bad things from KTM owners over the years and also from ex mechanics who worked for KTM.

@@Darkvisor I’m talking 20 plus years ago, I don’t know how they handle in recent years most ppl I know are Honda Yamaha and Suzuki now

As it pertains to KTM, I hear that there’s a very good chance that Lewis Hamilton (F1 Champion Driver) will be investing in the company! Especially now since KTM is in financial trouble, his investment or partial acquisition will be greatly beneficial to all parties involved. I just wanted to throw that out there. 😎🏍️💨🇺🇸✌️
Really? I haven't heard about KTM being in trouble... Then again, im not that invested. But thanks for letting me know! Sure will be something to look into and follow up on.

Hello!
Yes and no.... Traction control is just for how much slipping the bike allows. When you twist the throttle on gravel for example, the rear wheel might loose control and spin. But with traction control it will "feel" when it looses traction and will cut/lower the power so that you will get control again and get a grip again. But if you twist the throttle and ride fast with fun acceleration, you most likely wouldn't loose grip on asphalt. So then the traction control would not "kick in" (engage).
So no, it shouldn't make any different... Except if you ride without traction control on loose surface and loose grip many times then the engine would loose a little bit of fuel every time. so technically yes...
but overall i'd say the answer is no to your question.
