Such a cool site I have explored most of this site, you definitely chose a hard way in and route, there's a much easier way. Also this site has other sites further a field that link into the whole story of this factory and its importance. Two anti aircraft guns use to defend this site from a distance they were on high concrete platforms and can still be found today. Also a decoy base / defense was built on the peninsula of Arne to fool German aircraft to attack/ bomb that instead of the cordite factory. That can still be found too !

Too expensive to destroy. The place is absolutely huge and covers so much land. Easier to let decay and vandals do the work. The storms do a good job too.

Nice one, MOD have much to answer for letting these site fall into such disrepair. The government should set about clearing them and use the land for new homes or something useful. This one shows just how many hours it can take just to get to where you want to be. Appriciate the work that goes into bringing these videos to us. 💜🕉
