There's not really anything that weird about his statement. They all knew they were likely looking for a body. I would find it suspicious too if there weren't another man's actual fingerprints in her vehicle. Just seems the obvious conclusion would be the fingerprints match the killer.

I think the husband did it. But what would the father have to gain by purposely finding the body? If anything, he wouldn't point out the body if he or his son had anything to do with it. The longer the body is missing, the better it is for the person(s) that did it. What's the positive outcome? What's his motive on finding it?

Seems like whenever there is a truly guilty husband, the guy does NOT try very hard to find her. He'll just make obligatory public appearances on the news, etc., but he does so reluctantly. But this guy seems to have done the opposite, he is actively trying to find her on his own, taking matters into his own hands, like a real innocent husband would do. Just my opinion.

Fingerprints is pretty hard evidence. I don't understand how that's even debatable. Obviously the fingerprints that match to someone she clearly didn't know would point to the real killer. I'm guessing supposed witnesses in a trailer park could easily be paid to lie. And sometimes people just want to be part of something, if they thought he was guilty they may have jumped at an opportunity to be part of the case whether they saw something or not. If they don't want to give up perhaps they could look for the murder weapon with a metal detector with the possibility it's still there. The killer confessed to where he tossed it...

I mean, I had a similar situation occur with my significant other. He was not home when he said he would be and didn’t pick up his phone. In seven years, this has NEVER happened so I was worried and contemplated calling the police. I wasn't sure if I was overeacting, so I decided to call my dad who is former law enforcement. He didn't pick, so then I called my brother. My brother advised me to calm down and give it a few hours and stayed on the phone with me to keep from overthinking everything.
Thankfully, my significant other called a few hours later apologizing profusely and explaining what had held him up. After later hearing from my dad, he told me in the future to go ahead and contact authorities just in case, but also assured me that my feelings of not wanting to "overeact" and calling family to ask for input is very common. Humans have a tendency to rationalize away feelings of concern because we do not want to confront the possibility of our worst fears. I would hate to think someone would question the kind of partner I am to my significant other because I didn't immediately make a report.
I'm not saying this guy is a good husband. I don't know. I'm just not sure that his inaction in this situation is enough to make that determination. Particularly when this crime took place decades before smartphones, and the husband's young age could also factor into what could be naivity manifestating as indecision.
The best thing we can do is not judge but learn from these stories and try to inform others on how to best handle situations like this.

    • @sharkbait6851
      @sharkbait6851 Год назад

Sounds like the boss you had for that job got one over on you. Clean up and restock should all be done on the clock. If you're in the states, it's law. They can not have you do any type of work off the clock. Usually managers do it so they get bigger bonuses at end of year. Corporate gets pissed when notified of these types of things because it opens them to lawsuits and is common knowledge. Also if you're still a waitress, base pay+tips must equal minimum wage. If base pay + tips doesn't equal minimum wage, your employer must cover the difference on your check. If they don't, it's a lawsuit. That one though, corporate relies on the fact that most waiters/waitresses don't know that to get away with it.

@@nonaweilding4310 I’d be fair. And in this case, I certainly could not vote to convict simply on the evidence we have been provided. You and I are simply talking about the scintilla of information we have been given. And we both have to face reality, we haven’t sat through a trial and been given a plethora of facts. As far as being in 2 places at one time, I’d like to hear the prosecutor lay out his location before and after the crime. We are being given details according to the defense and I admit I don’t know if the husband did it. On the other hand, pun intended, just because someone broke into an abandoned car to steal a radio, doesn’t mean that person killed her. In fact you could suspect there to be a high likelihood of an abandoned car to be broken into. And there is no indication that Scott killed her and he certainly didn’t have a clue how the crime happened. I think the husband and his father dumped the body, abandoned the car, probably hoping someone stole it so it would be blamed on the thief. There is noway you can look into that husband’s eyes and tell me you think he didn’t do it. Seriously. And no, that’s no evidence and you and me aren’t on the jury, but the husband did it and if you can’t see through his lies, I feel a bit sorry for you.

Jesus IS Lord. He came into the world before the world and the world knew Him not. 2000 years later, He is making His return as the Times of the Gentiles is almost complete. Joy to those with His Holy spirit, WOE to those who know Him not. It's better to not know at all then to know and leave. If you go out FROM us, You never were OF US, and blaspheme God. To "know" Jesus by His Holy spirit and THEN sin against Him in His spirit IN your flesh IS the unpardonable sin! Never temp the Lord MY God. You will be humbled. Never blaspheme His Holy Holy Holy name, or die in your iniquities in THIS life, AND the next.
"The fear of God IS the beginning of wisdom"
But you cant love what you fear.
I know God, HE is MY Father, AND my Lord. He came to ME, and I love Him, as I know Him and I do not fear what I understand. He came to ME.
He is here, He is always watching. God bless.

But what can you know? You're just a wretched sinner like everyone else. Born in sin by sin by two "parents" who were defiling each other- using each other's bodies like two pieces of meat and they probably weren't even married.
So how can you know God? Thats something you don't get to choose! We must be CHOSEN.
Yet, without faith in God you are already dead!
Hows it feel to know you are already dead and we are Just in the middle?
Unless God comes to you in His spirit (literally actually happens- very powerful and unforgettable it changes your life and you become a NEW CREATION in God) you will only remain in and of the world; deceiving and being decieved and you will never know what is real.
When God comes to you it Goes something like this:
When one "Finds" God in their own heart through faith, JOY is replaced by pure spiritual bliss the second God sends his Holy Spirit to you through HIS grace, by YOUR Faith! The Holy Ghost comes from above Literally and falls down upon and around the individual who is counted as righteous in Gods eyes and feels like a sheet of energy and pure love. Every hair stands up, you feel electrified and more than content. You feel the Holy spirit and you hear the holy spirit! Others "see" the Holy Ghost IN the true believer who all of a sudden becomes a TRUE KNOWER of God! That is How it happens. That is How It happened to me, and I never looked back. God is here. He truly is omnipresent. He saved me, he saved my life, and I showed others the power of God almighty who's Holy Spirit is very active in these days......For reasons that are biblical in scale and proportions. These days ARE those days prophesied millennia ago....If you have no idea of what I speak in any of it, you need to pray. Pray until you get Gods answer...His Holy Ghost. Jesus is the door. Faith is the door way. The room behind that door is God. The space you step into is the Holy spirit. Once in, the door is sealed forever. Salvation is a literal happening. Being reborn is literal and means receiving His Holy Holy Holy spirit (ghost) literally IN YOUR OWN Flesh.
Believe in Him and receive Him. Seek and you shall find. KNOCK and He will be opened unto you,
Verily verily seek with all your heart and mind and strength.
