Mike if you don't use the arrow keys often you could downsize to 60% and maybe even keep the arrow keys if you still want dedicated arrow keys. TKL is nice though for the function row and navigation cluster.

And to incentive people to make videos RUclips pays youtubers pennies on the dollar and companies pay for product placement in either free products or money. To those of you shocked by the price of the $220 shelf and $90 tray, they are now $240 and $120! They also changed the desk shelf so now it has a full length shelf (with no felt). Man it's sexy though.
They still fail the "refuse" part of refuse-reduce-reuse-recycle. "No waste" cannot be achieved without going "no sales"; there will always be waste in retail and shipping.
All right, judging by the quality of your videos, I thought that you already had some few milion subscribers. I am quite amazed. Good stuff here, cool editing, perfect fonts, pleasing light and esthetics. Keep rocking on Mike! :)
The IKEA Karlby is super cheap compressed wood. Only benefit was it comes in different colors. I went to Home Depot found a butcher block counter top and stained it myself, much more high end and was almost same price
If you're looking for desk pad that would be very comfortable for elbows / wrists, you may wanna have a look at fusionstrike original limestone desk mat. Been using it for 3 years personally and my friends, so far it's been great so we made a whole batch of them. Currently ship within UK but could sort out international shipment too. The rubber is made from sustainable limestone rock (instead of oil/petrol) which makes it more environmentally friendly than most desk mats out there. It's laminated with super stretch smooth nylon so it's mouse compatible and very gentle to skin

For me, minimalist means only three things on the table - Monitors (and Laptop), wireless Keyboard and wireless Mouse. No matter how cool the desktop is, I never prefer it on desk. What I did was screwed my desktop front down, ports up under the perpendicular board on the backside of the table, placed a switch in one of the Leg's top (parallel to the table board) which had a perfect place and because leg was hollow and had small holes at places, I inserted the wire inside it. It was perfectly minimalist. No visible wires, floating hidden desktop and a huge 6 feet wide table. I miss that setup, man.

I agree. You can call this simplicity. I think more and more people misconstrue the meaning of minimalist.
Use a deskmat cause it protects the table. But not grovemade because it is expensive.
