- This week we mostly cleaned and painted. The house had not been whitewashed since we moved in 9 years ago so we decided to get it over and done with before the kitchen renovations start.
I went for a walk on the beach and found the artist Domenico Romano painting a new picture. You can find him on Instagram or facebook @domenico.romano.positano.

I enjoy the everyday life videos of cooking, gardening, running errands and working on the house just as much as I enjoy the day trips and traveling videos. Seeing both is the perfect mix. It’s authentic and real. So many youtubers put on a “show” or plan things solely for their videos to make everything look perfect in their lives and you can see right through it. You are real and not afraid to show a messy kitchen during a renovation or when something goes not to plan. I love that most. You show real life.
Your life is never boring. Thanks for sharing. I lived through a whole house remodel. It’s not exactly fun, but you’ll LOVE the results. 🌵🇺🇸

Your videos are never boring especially considering the amount of time you obviously put into editing . We do a lot of video work just for our personal use and we know how much work editing requires and your editing turns anything you do into a thoroughly enjoyable piece of art. The spaghetti bake Luca's son was cutting sounded and looked sooooo good. Great video as always. Can't wait to see a new puppy come home.

It's Monday morning 0200, lying in bed, listening to the music and every word you say, looking at the beauty and feel kind of enchanted. The animals, ocean, pasta, tomatos, fantastic photos of the family... so in the mood. All the nice men working their hearts out for you all. Even cooking. Hang in the Nicki for the kitchen. You'll be so happy when it's done. You're never boring. And I love that you love all the critters....and like seeing the very ending.
My builder once said “you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs” when I was freaking out about mess everywhere! Of course he was right, but that didn’t stop me wanting to slap him! 😂😂 It will soon be all sorted and you will have a lovely new kitchen and freshly decorated house. Hang in there! 😊

Carlo has such a wonderful, staunch work ethic. I love how he is always busy doing useful, helpful things; and bustling around trying to find something to fix, make, pluck, plant, chop, cut, cook, film, explore-geeez, Im exhausting thinking about this! lol Now he's painting the entire house! We were so excited when my eldest brother finally has his yard professionally landscaped-we praised him like he did it himself. lol It was a lot of effort for him. Lol

Once your kitchen is complete with new cupboards and your home is back in order, it will be so rewarding! The upheaval will have been worth it😊. The puppies are growing! Years ago my landlord taught me that tip with the screwdriver, to let the air out of the sealed jar, although I use a butter knife; it's a lifesaver! 😁 So many beautiful moments in this video, but my favourite has to be Holly with the sand all over her nose, too adorable!!! 😍
You're really good at showing a slice of life video with few words that keeps us watching to see what happens! I was just thinking what a pain it would be to have to backtrack for the camera to get all these walking away shots, as you show. Holly must wonder why you're always going back for something!

We lived through a complete house remodel while living their with 3 of our kids, one in a wheelchair. Now we can smile about it! You will now be able to organize to perfection, that's the upside! Great video once again to show us the reality of day to day living in Positano.

We have our son's cat that is blind and deaf now and our old girl Miste a girl Jack Russel that is also blind and deaf, but we love them all, our young girl black cat seems to help them both out she and we take care of them... But is that not what loving is all about xx

Vlog was not boring , everyone who renovates should understand the kaos.. I didn't have a kitchen for weeks, did dishes in the tub or basement sink. It's worth UT in the end, can't wait to see your handmade tiles. Get that puppy, he loves you already.

Hi Carlo here, we don't know why IBK went blind, but still follows us, just a few days ago she managed to climb more than 350 steps with us, even if we didn't want to, for fear that she would get lost, but she has an incredible sense of direction even if she doesn't see us at all, she managed to go home without us, she's a Super Cat !!

Construction and house apart is no fun to say the least but everyone seems in good spirits throughout and wonderful cozy feeling of a painter you know also making jokes and the chefs in the midst of all that preparing a beautiful meal. And you Nikki cooking in your 2nd kitchen! The views and footage of Positano is exquisite and I loved the moody, gray clouds. Holly is so patient and tolerant with the pups and doggie visitor licking her under the table.
I can't imagine how delivering a kitchen in Positano works and all the stairs to your home; will be very interesting to see. I hope all is going well with the kitchen and all painting projects and that soon you'll have your new kitchen and house back in order for you all to enjoy.
