Not sure how to word this without sounding weird but Carlo is the father figure everyone needs and this is coming from a 45 year old who hasn’t had a father since the age of 6. He’s Uber resourceful, knows how to fix everything, will teach you how to renovate an entire house (or almost) and keeps the brain sharp.
I believe you worded it just fine. Totally agree. Of course we only see what we're shown but he seems to also have also had a tremendous example in his own father. 🙏🏾It's somewhat healing to witness, even just via video in a different hemisphere.

Nikk's mother's coat is timeless. Very fashionable. Not many husbands would take the initiative to clean up an area to make thier wife content. It is going to be a beautiful area that they will enjoy for many years to come. The view is priceless.

Yes he does! Moving the previous owner's stuff to the shed, oh my goodness. Once escrow closed and I got the keys, I'd have given them 72 hours, *IF* I was feeling generous, to remove it, all. If they didn't do it, I would have donated or had the lot of it hauled off *and* I would have rehomed the tortoises!!!
I think Carlo featured in short DIY segments would be popular. I was never taught the basics and I found Carlo explaining hos thought process about the repair educational.
They should make a reno playlist with shorts!

This message is for Martin....I was diagnosed with cml. I am not a candidate for hip surgery. Due to this at the time I could barely get around due to my hip problems. I started taking water therapy. It has helped me leaps and bounds. You might try looking into it. Water has no resistance. And believe me it helped measurable. I am now walking well on my two feet. Good luck Martin.

in my 45 years of living, i have never met another person ( male or female ) like Carlo. So willing to do the hard work, so clever! Both of you work so well together in a team! My mother had inpatient therapy for about 3 weeks, and it was intense!! And she returned to live at home and function almost fully. She was 99 years old at the time. They do amazing work when their patient brings the will to succeed! ✌️❤️🙏
Yayyyy, kitchen! So excited. That upholstered L shaped dinning bench was so awesome, so chill and comfortable. Too bad they don't ship. Fireplace turned out amazing!! Carlo the fence looks like new and clearing the bush was brilliant. Now every window looks like framed scenery art. The whole place is just magical and getting better everyday.
Sending healing vibes to your brother Martin :) Seeing Carlo clear the overgrowth in your trails and using a tarp to haul it away let me know that I too could do my yardwork that seemed so overwhelming. It worked and so proud of myself. Thank you for sharing your adventures Nicki!
For Martin: I had a mini-stroke about 5 years ago and walked with a cane for balance for a year--I kept forcing myself to go to work and walk as much as I could stand in a day...eventually, I was able to walk without the cane, although I still have some balance issues...keep pushing yourself: you will be amazed at how much you will get back...best wishes, dts/usa
