We just finished a cruise along the Norwegian coast up to Svalbard with Hurtigruten! We were both absolutely blown away by the views - they were so incredible, they looked pretend!!! Highly recommend a cruise ;)
Your beautiful videos make me miss the fjords and mountains so much! I was lucky enough to take the boat from Copenhagen to Oslo in 1982. Visited Bergen, Trondheim and even Bod@ after that. I would love to go back there again someday and stay for a week or a month!
Norway looks magical! And with all the little cabin (with the grass on top + water falls) that you rent, you can enjoy the senery even more! 🤩 Seems like the perfect stay. 👌💖

Hi! I am from Norway, and live in the area you have been in in this video! Its so surreal seeing all these places through your video. The bakery in Lom is one of the best Bakeries in Norway, and Geiranger is absolutely stunning❤
Norway is stunning. When I worked for the cruise lines we did Olden, Flam, Stavanger, Grangier. So many waterfalls. We saw glaciers. We took a train in Flam. The train stopped at a little hotel where they gave us coffee / tea, and waffles with cloudberry jam.
I have been to norway a couple of times on a cruise, and it is just breathtaking! Geiranger is my favourite city, to arrive with cruise😍 Definitely worth it, to take a cruise that way!

I just cruised Norway in July on the Celebrity Apex. You are.so right, it is absolutely breathtaking. I'd love to go.back and see more by land. Not sure I'd want to drrive a big van tho. Those mountain roads were scary. I was very impressed with our tour bus drivers! Hunter mimicking her dad with the coffee cup and stretch is priceless!
My paternal grandpa, Papa was born in Brevik. I visited there 30 years ago. Watching your beautiful family makes me miss him so much. Would love to go back again.
Thank you for bringing iSteady V3 with you on this trip to Norway. The video is really fabulous!! It's great to see the V3 capturing these wonderful moments in such a beautiful location!🤩🤩
What a cute little town and stunning scenery! ❤ The kayaking looks so peaceful (other than the speed boats). I definitely want to explore that part of the world one day! Great video as always ❤
So I just sat and watched your video from 4yrs ago! From when Hunter was born that was amazing and so inspiring I wish I could have had the guts to pull off what you have done. You have worked so hard and I'm so glad it's paid off. This trip looks so special.
The view from the top of the mountain, looking down on the river and mountains, is absolutely spectacular. Norway is such an incredibly beautiful country. Thank you for showing it to us, Steve & Jess! 🥰❤
I may have made this comment already- not sure, but just wanted to say, I thought your van series on your US road trip was very enjoyable and I was sorry to see it come to an end. But this new series on your road trip in beautiful Norway?? WOW, these videos are the BEST!! Each one is just so special and how you captured the beauty every where you drove to and explored. 🥰👏
WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so glad to watch you show us this since it's a bucket list destination for me. And I'd rather see Norway without a cruise so appreciate seeing how you're traveling the country.
Wonderful! Watching your videos makes me wish we had travelled overseas more with our kids when they were young. Hubby and I stayed in Geiranger in 1992 as part of a European backpacking trip. It was stunning! I was just (suspected but didn’t know yet) pregnant with our eldest daughter. She is now 31. That trip was also our first time in Disneyland (on our way home) and we vowed to come back as a family. 16 years later with 3 kids we travelled to the USA - San Fran LA/ Disneyland and Hawaii. We had only done road trips in Australia with the kids and that was our first time overseas as a family with 3 teenagers - 15, 13 & 10. We did one more trip with the girls in 2012 as teenagers and they then travelled on their own.
Hi Guys another great video 😊 I was on the Sky Princess beginning of July in Norway and we visited Gieranger it’s stunning I love Norway 😊 can’t wait for your next video thank you and keep safe xxx
Had to Giggle at Koa opening the cupboard taking the bin out 😂 No cupboard will be safe 😅 Wauw that view over the Fjords. Cruise-ships ,water falls 😍😍😍 just absolutely Breathtaking . Could sit with a drink just watch that view for hours😜. The road down was “ nerve racking “🫣 but still added to the adventure . Safe travels 🥰
Your research, planning around your episodes are excellent, the places you go to in Norway are fantastic and true adventure into the areas where normal we would not traditionally go, that’s why we love what you do and the places you go. It was interesting to see the cruise ships there? Was that village set up for major tourism? Stephen you are an Aussie true blue dinky dye- T shirt and shorts regardless of where you go 🇦🇺👍Thank you for another absolutely brilliant episode, be safe, take care and God bless you all. 🙏😇👍🚐
If you do a Norway cruise and you want to see plenty of Fjords book carefully. Some cruises go to some beautiful towns but not necessarily many Fjords. It’s stunning where you have been so far. We went to Gerainger on a cruise and loved it. Enjoy.
It wasn’t exactly a cruise, but i took a ferry from Bergen through the Fjords! It was so windy i got windburn on my face and my ears were ringing, but it was SO worth it
You are such ab inspiring and amazing couple. Even witt young children you are taking the initiative and travelling far and wide and experiencing life and travel. Stay blessed and safe and thank yoz for sharing the beautiful Norway trip
We did a cruise through thr fjords a few years ago and it was honestly so beautiful!! Definitely worth the balcony cabin to be able to watch the view as we sailed into the fjords early morning :)
Thanks for visiting our beautiful country! If you go passed Trøndelag on this trip or a future one, make sure you drive the road called "Kystriksveien". It takes you on 500km long coastal road from Trøndelag all the way up to Bodø in the north! I live where it starts and we also have a cabin by the ocean that i can probably convince my family to let you borrow for a night or 2! From someone whos watched for years but never commented, thanks for making these videos!😃👍
I’d love to see more of the meals you make on the road. Would love inspiration on what to make without having to get too many ingredients while traveling.
Very beautifully shot video and a lovely family!!! ☺️ I recently did a road trip from Bergen to Alesund exactly a month ago. Just came across your videos a couple of days ago and been binge watching!! ☺️☺️
Seriously you went to the perfect place for experiencing the beautiful norwegian fjords and mountains, I am so happy to see that, seems you got a very good tip or got really lucky to do exactly what you've done this video, I live near Oslo area and traveled to/from there by car/bus countless times to visit my family in western Norway, however it's only when I got older I've started appreciating the beauty of this trip, it kinda brings a tear to my eye watching how you present it and you as well appreciating the views, bizarre summer snow, amazing bakeries, fresh air, grass-roofed cabins, the beautiful waterfalls everywhere and funny to see you even got to experience the temporary mountain roads being closed (you got really lucky it only lasted 40 min btw!) :D I hope this video get recommended to people considering a visit to Norway
Hi guys, I have done a couple of cruises visiting Norway, Iceland and the Arctic Circle. I have travelled to many, many places in this beautiful world, but that are is my absolute favourite! Flam is definitely worth a visit, it has an incredible railway. Have fun x
«Freezing mountains» 😂😂 it’s summer…love from a Norwegian (who has lived in Melbourne) BTW, if you watch the movie «Bølgen» (The wave) it’s set in Geiranger:)
I love Geiranger. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Last year, we sailed on the Anthem of the Sea, and I went on one of those speed boats down the fjords.
*chuckles* Crazy mountain roads is what you get in Norway when you don't go through the tunnels we've dug so we don't have to use them. Well, there's still a few waiting for holes to be dug under them, but still. ;)
We did a Royal Caribbean cruise around Norway, the views were breathtaking and brought tears to our eyes. Similar to the views you are seeing. Stunning.

Geiranger is where my family (mother's side) are from and I can't believe you didn't walk up to Storsæterfossen since you practically stayed where the entrance of the trail is 😮 There are 2 epic hikes from the fjord and up to the mountain farms, one is (probably) the one you mentioned, to Skageflå and the other is on the opposite side, right on top of the seven sisters waterfall you had a clip of. The farm is called Knivsflå and is our old family farm ❤ I hope you tried the local chocolate. Will see the rest of your journey and I really want to take my 2 yo kid on this trip seeing your videos 😊
I could never even imagine a roundabout in a tunnel! We experimented with them at freeway interchanges in Phoenix but switched to diverging diamond interchanges at our most trafficked freeway/road intersections. Sedona Arizona used roundabouts quite well to solve the terrible traffic problems they had there--Arizona is a progressive driving state because we have no tolls, even on the Hoover Dam bridge into Nevada.
i'm surprised you didn't visit the Dalsnibba viewpoint, arguably the most epic view of Geiranger went to Geiranger in 2010 and took a tourist boat to see the waterfalls, one of the main ones being the Seven Sisters Falls
