I'm so sad bro. I don't even want to go to pred because the fans suck so much. Every time I've seen something over prime related there is always a pred fan commenting about how much better their game is. And personally me and my friends liked over prime more.
I refunded Predecessor after buying it on release day because I got flamed at ingame. I was told that not knowing the game on release day was no excuse. I should have studied strategies before the release. Also, the controls felt clunky (unlike Overprime).

You're genuinely clueless if you think OP was more team fight focused than Pred, sure at lower MMR people do their own thing and it is a slow burn I agree. But at higher levels rotations and team fights happen practically off spawn with everyone at least knowing what they should be doing. At the end of the day OP shot itself in the foot by being way too arcade-like, and having stupidly bad attack chains that stopped your momentum (Kwang for example on the final slam moving nowhere and leaving you wide open) it was just created for people who had zero map awareness and just wanted to feel impactful doing next to nothing. As for this guy saying "ThIs wAs mY ChaNnEl" clearly hasn't had much going on in his life if he's never come across a 'shit happens, move on' situation where there are plenty of things to grow from.

It's a shame, but this is exactly the reason why I kept both Overprime and Predecessor at an arms length. I've also been burned way too many times by failed MOBA projects. I liked both games and I hope(d) success for both or either, but ultimately I saw the writing on the wall. I've come from MANY failed projects, some that you can even see on my channel. Hyper Universe (4v4 MOBA), Crucible (Amazon MOBA/hero shooter), and Bleeding Edge (Ninja Theory PvP game) to name a few of them. I've also played plenty of MMOs like Maplestory 2 which you mentioned in the video. All I can say is keep searching for that game. I've come to terms that it's going to be a long time before I find another game that I will enjoy but will also have a playerbase. It's out there somewhere.

played the OG paragon and loved it and then it went poof, waited for years for a private server or something similar and finally came across overprime and your streams, had a blast with overprime but now its shutting down, i guess predecessor is the only one left and i dont mind going there but hopefully predecessor doesn't shut down anytime soon otherwise its truly the end of paragon..... again

They didn’t even try. They didn’t try to fix sprint mode. They didn’t even fix big prime. No second tower. The game wasn’t even a moba it was overwatch with minions. It was an unbalanced mess. It was fun but not balanced
I know Pred is the overall better game experience when it comes to comparing it to the og paragon, but for me it simply wasn't fun. Had to drag myself through every game. I surely give it another try again, knowing that there is no real alternative now anymore. Atleast my main Phase has her og abilities on Pred. Tho i liked how she was in OP too.
@awesomeswifter1138 Well, the game is very slow paced, but not in a good way. In many games, teammates were never eager to engage in teamfights, staying all passive for way too long. The overall look of the heroes could be more appealing, not as much as OP did with waifu shit and all but a bit better. Same thing for the interface. And the community is also weird, lots of toxic behaviour and more. Funny thing is, if you admit that their game is better, they still be "yeah but pred better duh". They have that omeda dick so deep down their throats, it's a huge turnoff to join that community.

As much as I enjoyed Overprime simply due to it being the closest version of Legacy we ever got I can’t say I didn’t see this coming. It never received a proper balance patch, heroes/roles remained broken for the entirety of the game’s lifecycle. New players were immediately shoved into games against players with several hundred/thousands of hours and they were laughed at and scolded by those same veteran players for performing horribly. I’m sure that contributed to its 1% player retention rate. Since beta/launch have any of you guys seen a single advertisement for this game!?? I know I certainly haven’t. With the amount of time and money it costs to run a live service game I’d be shocked to see if the game broke even in the end. Probably best to pull the plug sooner than later. Had fun with the game while it lasted. GG’s Overprime ❤

I think now since Paragon the overprime has officially stated that they are shutting down, Predecessor will probably shine more with new players that migrated from Paragon the overprime and get a bigger community.

I've been there when og first shut down. It's tough. When Mangoose left last year i knew it was over. SoulEve is at the mercy of Netmarble. I wonder if Rocketmania or the other devs will have the code to eventually try again since it was their project initially

6 years ago I was 15 years old I remember coming home from high school to play Paragon meanwhile other kids in my school would play smite I only played og Paragon for a few months until realizing something feels off about this company so I quit ever since I seen them re release and re brand there game it was always sus to me so I always stayed away in fear of my progress wiped again

They really didn't try with the game even when we told them many times how to balance the game and what future content we wanted. They had the content part down because we knew the other game modes were coming later on full release. Its really the BALANCING. I've said it multiple times to everyone that played OP that the game needed proper balancing and to try out different things during early access(like you've mentioned 2 million times and they didn't listen). No 2nd tower, no health buff to towers, no buff in damage to towers, no buff in damage for minions, no gold gain, no proper nerfs to the crazy karmas, no proper nerfs to the ADCs that destroyed everyone, no proper diminishing returns of defensive buffs for tanks, no randomization on spirit so that we don't get the SAME DAMN ELEMENT EVERYTIME UNTIL SILLA, no nerf on Orb Prime Guardian disabling inhibs, NO PROPER MOVEMENT PENALTY, etc. Its just wild that we've said all of this and they didn't try a single thing....Now people are going to Smite, Gigantic and Predecessor. Predecessor has to carry HARDCORE now for the Paragon community and theres also worries about that game as well.
Stop investing your time and effort in early access and beta games, believe me.... In 30+ years of gaming I am feeling much better since not investing so much time and energy in beta and ea games. There’s a lot of things working against the paragon IP in general. My boyfriend started playing the game and immediately pointed out that the art team doesn’t seem very talented. He claim that majority of character design look bad and many characters just straight up seems like they don’t belong in the same game. He legit asked if Phase is a crossover character from another game 😂😂😂 He also asked me things like “is this supposed to be futuristic a sci-fi fantasy game, so who’s this Diablo looking angel (referring to Serath) and what is she doing here?” “What is the deal with this Shinbi girl? she looks like a stripper but acts like a pop idol?” “Who’s this hunger games Catnis ripoff archer girl?” Obviously talking about sparrow here. He calls twinblast “Walmart Starlord” and Howitzer is Rocket Raccoon. I just don’t have any answers for his many questions lol. Many of the characters really do feel out of place, uninspired, and they look like they are from completely different universes like a crossover game. I feel like they need a new art director after listening to my boyfriend’s comments.

I want a completely brand new game, a game that can completely redefine '3d moba', like what overwatch did to hero shooters. make a actual AAA game with a passionate well sustained dev studio, I want to be surprised by it, minimal announcements etc. give us amazing graphics, good cast of likeable heroes/personalities, engaging combat, osts, cinematics etc. Smite 2 and pred, and whatever else just aren't it for me either too slow and boring combat and/or ugly graphics, I'll be waiting

They were beholden to a publisher. If you enjoyed the game, you still got enjoyment from it. They should have kept the beta online for consoles. Game had potential. Just some bad choices. But skin game was on point.

I saw the trailer for this games BETA for the PS5 and I was super pumped! And then I heard the shutdown days later after the PlayStation trailer. This sucks.
I talked about this yesterday in Cordies stream ppl there talking about New hero, new season, changes for the game and i was like Bro theyre discussing the end of the game for sure, when communication just stops out of nowhere its because this is def being talked about. If not a complete shutdown a "end of support" and just put the game on life support for a while before it shuts down. But hey i mean it is super sad, im sad, no more Kallari for me :( but ive gone through this before my heart will not be broken again, also Soul ur channel will do fine bro just keep going now its a great opportunitie for u to branch, focus on ur nich but u can also for a bit try different games its cool dont worry about it. I have 4 entire videos for Overprime i was gonna use to try and comeback to YT now idk if im even going to post them anymore.

6 years ago I was 15 years old I remember coming home from high school to play Paragon meanwhile other kids in my school would play smite I only played og Paragon for a few months until realizing something feels off about this company so I quit ever since I seen them re release and re brand there game it was always sus to me so I always stayed away in fear of my progress wiped again

Such a pity, I've seen this game die twice now and it's been one of my favourite games over a long time of gaming. I'm also sorry to hear your worries after having your content and livelihood threatened through no fault of your own. I personally watch your videos not just for the gameplay, I also enjoy your unfiltered, sometimes incoherent xD commentary and thoughts of the game and anything else, it's really refreshing to see in this world of can't say this or that without offending someone, so you'll find me waiting for your videos when you find a new game that you enjoy playing and streaming.
What's the issue with playing Paragon Predecessor? I'm not asking to flame things, I really don't know the differences and why one is shit and one isn't.

They really didn't try with the game even when we told them many times how to balance the game and what future content we wanted. They had the content part down because we knew the other game modes were coming later on full release. Its really the BALANCING. I've said it multiple times to everyone that played OP that the game needed proper balancing and to try out different things during early access(like you've mentioned 2 million times and they didn't listen). No 2nd tower, no health buff to towers, no buff in damage to towers, no buff in damage for minions, no gold gain, no proper nerfs to the crazy karmas, no proper nerfs to the ADCs that destroyed everyone, no proper diminishing returns of defensive buffs for tanks, no randomization on spirit so that we don't get the SAME DAMN ELEMENT EVERYTIME UNTIL SILLA, no nerf on Orb Prime Guardian disabling inhibs, NO PROPER MOVEMENT PENALTY, etc. Its just wild that we've said all of this and they didn't try a single thing....Now people are going to Smite, Gigantic and Predecessor. Predecessor has to carry HARDCORE now for the Paragon community and theres also worries about that game as well.

Ive played Paragon and OP... Paragon was heartbreaking but with OP I have expected the worse.

There’s a lot of things working against the paragon IP in general.
My boyfriend started playing the game and immediately pointed out that the art team doesn’t seem very talented. He claim that majority of character design look bad and many characters just straight up seems like they don’t belong in the same game. He legit asked if Phase is a crossover character from another game 😂😂😂
He also asked me things like “is this supposed to be futuristic a sci-fi fantasy game, so who’s this Diablo looking angel (referring to Serath) and what is she doing here?” “What is the deal with this Shinbi girl? she looks like a stripper but acts like a pop idol?” “Who’s this hunger games Catnis ripoff archer girl?” Obviously talking about sparrow here. He calls twinblast “Walmart Starlord” and Howitzer is Rocket Raccoon.
I just don’t have any answers for his many questions lol. Many of the characters really do feel out of place, uninspired, and they look like they are from completely different universes like a crossover game.
I feel like they need a new art director after listening to my boyfriend’s comments.

I want a completely brand new game, a game that can completely redefine '3d moba', like what overwatch did to hero shooters. make a actual AAA game with a passionate well sustained dev studio, I want to be surprised by it, minimal announcements etc. give us amazing graphics, good cast of likeable heroes/personalities, engaging combat, osts, cinematics etc. Smite 2 and pred, and whatever else just aren't it for me either too slow and boring combat and/or ugly graphics, I'll be waiting

They were beholden to a publisher. If you enjoyed the game, you still got enjoyment from it. They should have kept the beta online for consoles. Game had potential. Just some bad choices. But skin game was on point.

@loud2389 prede have 15k players at this point they do good on ps5.. beta supose to end on jan 27 and is still active.. discord only in overprime have 31.3k account prede have 69.3k account so if you see steam reviews prede was the all time best of 3 ...fault/over/prede✍... saying that over was better is only a fan opinion.
Still has open source so hopefully someone picks it up and tries to keep it alive.

Que triste. Comecei a jogar em dezembro de 2023 e gostei muito do jogo, excelente gráficos, campeões com características únicas. Então é isso, acabou. Ao menos posso dizer que joguei uma play no mesmo time e que você e não contra, que sorte!
