You could always use a Christmas tree step bit and drill a hole at the bottom of the cart so your 36 inch long pry bar will fit in the box and close the lid and then use some rubber heater hose, radiator hose,or some sort of grommet on the hole you drilled out
Bro you got the 12v extended!!! I thought I was the only guy that had one. They’re sweet ratchets. I agree the yellow batteries suck and I just superglue them back together. I’ll have to get some of those rubber ones.
I got the 14.4 stuff I have everything they make and man it was expensive getting there but I love how the batteries are ,style the way it clips in everything 😊
JB Weld that broken battery. I would move from Dewalt a d SO to Milwaukee, because they are ALWAYS adding to their line. Plus, their batteries are better than SO. I switched from Ridgid to Milwaukee and have been smiling ever since.
1 of my Dewalt 12v batteries did that same thing but not as bad as yours, it still works and will pop back in enough to use it and not pop out really. I cant complain though, Ive got a good 5 years heavy use out of it..
I’m thinking about instead of the 5 drawer USG 30”, getting the 34” 6 drawer full bank USG. I don’t really need either one of them, I’ve already got a 42” roll cab and top chest combo and a 56” roll cab and top chest combo, but I kinda want one.
@@EzTechJoe haha I don’t need that excuse, both those boxes are full and an old 26” craftsman top and better I have off to the side is full. It’s a problem really
It’s not about the batteries going dead .. it’s about preventing corrosion inside the body of the torque wrench. To prevent premature wear of the contact points inside the wrench!
I’ve had my digital torque wrenches since 2018 and I’ve only used energizer batteries and replace them once they are on 1 bar of life left. Never once in 6 years have I had an issue leaving batteries in. But I assume if you use junk batteries or don’t use it enough to replace the batteries fairly often corrosion can happen. But in all seriousness if you have a new torque wrench that’s still in its warranty if there’s bad corrosion inside the battery compartment snap on will void your warranty fix
My original batteries are still in my two 1/2 and 3/8 Snap-On Techangle torque wrenches. The half was bought in 2014 and the 3/8 was from 2016. I always take them out. I've seen electronics where great name brand batteries leaked. I'm not taking a chance. This is what I do and best practice is best practice. But, by all means It's your money, do what you want.
Nice box, but wanna say Thanx. Been waiting for u to do a tour, and for some crazy reason I'm addicted to box reviews n tool reviews. I'm guessing its 2 see what I need to add to my inventory. I'm still waiting to pull the trigger on a box n Sunex is in the running.
That's a really nice cart. I recently just bought the full line of Sunex impacts and am considering this box to store them in. How deep is the top shelf? Thanks!
got the same sunex box and loving it so far a lot better quality than harbor freight like that it has the handle detents for the slides sense my shop isnt level nice setupp thoo
I tried ordering that cart a couple times, but they kept being cancelled as back ordered, so I paid a little more for one that says matco. The only thing I don't like is how it wanders when you push it.
Yeah that's true the boxes are a little tougher to get a hold of a little bit. At least these particular ones. The green and orange tool carts have been a limited time order. I think they brought it back 2 or 3 times
The green and orange versions of these carts are limited time only, supposedly, but they do bring them back often.. You can find them and their regular black and red versions on Summit Racing, JEGS, and Paul's Tools. And I hear they should be at ACME Tools soon as well.
Hey bro I'm debating this career or electrician, any thoughts to steer me one way? My dad's an auto mechanic, I haven't perfected the craft like him. I have a few months experience. Electrician is cleaner and I can start business just a van. I want to be as good as him but going diesel
The funny thing is, I actually went to school to become an electrician about 6 years ago, but I didn't finish. Buy yeah man it's gonna be all about what you are willing to handle and go through. Electrician is a cleaner and lighter job at times. While being a diesel mechanic is dirty, the parts are bigger and heavier than auto tech parts, and your tools are probably going to cost more the deeper you get into it. But even yet and still for me, I would rather be a diesel mechanic because I enjoy it for the most part, and I'm willing to put up with the BS. It's going to be BS no matter what profession you choose, but it's all about which BS you're willing to put up with.. through it all. Pick something that you are going to enjoy. If you do something that you like, then you'll never "work" a day in your life. That is up for you to decide . Choose what's best for you. As far as making money and long-term investments in yourself.

That's what a true mechanic's tool cart supposed to look like. Sockets on top along with an impact gun, Not like some other ppl having only sockets on top and all ratchet & impacts some other places
What does that even mean? How does a "true mechanic" have all the sockets up top, but a non true mechanic have impacts somewhere else? If you have all your sockets up top, how do you have impacts somewhere else? Sockets and impacts are the same thing... You either have all your sockets up top or you don't. If you have all your sockets up top, then you have your impacts up top too. There's no such thing as a real mechanic organized box. Each mechanic has their own style and their own way of organizing.
@@victorhoyt4352 I said sockets and impact guns, not sockets and impacts......I have seen people having only sockets on top and their impact guns at the very bottom drawer and their ratchets in some other drawers. In real mechanic life, for efficiency, when you grab a socket, you will grab an impact gun or ratchet as well No?? What s the point of grabbing a socket on the very top then bend down to the very bottom drawer to grab the impact gun???
@@hometownfishball7239 re read your comment bro. It definitely says sockets and impacts. Not impact guns. Btw, they are called impact wrenches and impact drivers. Not impact guns. Drill a hole in the bottom for that biggazz prybar! Stick a rubber grommet in there and it'll look factory👍 Nice setup man, solid choices!
🤔🤔.. that might just work. Appreciate it man
@@EzTechJoe We just loop a zip tie loosely around the handles of our tool boxes and use that as a holder for the larger pry bars.

Craftsman v series, facom and Mac precision torque and knuckle savers i would love to eventually acquire a set of the Mac precision torque wrench sets
