Very impressive setup. Even after all these videos I’m still ordering stuff I never knew about. My stress at work has gone down exponentially with these trick tools.
Don’t understand why people paying ridiculous amounts of money for “snap off”. Especially for storage. Not saying is bad, but definitely not worth to pay 10 times more for it

Love these. As a guy who almost went into the mechanic field who still works on his cars I love it. I’m now in financial shape to buy nice tools and love to see where techs spend money and where they say to not spend money.
Thank you for this tour! I was super excited to see a BMW box mainly for the specialty tools. I hope you're able to get into Audi and Porsche sometime for the same reason.
I had resorted to watching the old Tours while waiting for this one - they're so good! Absolutely did not disappoint! Loved how organised and well kept everything was! Looking forward to the next one already. All the best, Sam.
@@ToolBoxTour Absolutely not a problem at all. I'm enjoying the old ones as always - Hoping to order my tool cart soon! Inspiration from your videos of course! Hope you're well! Sam.
I think it’d be interesting if you asked the guys what type of work they predominantly do in the shop. I think it’d add some context as to why they have their box the way they do 👍👍👍
What a cool box!!! I myself spent years with BMW here in California (Ontario was our training center) in my 40 years I went to Toyota,Nissan (Datsun when I started) and Chrysler. Thank you for your service and your amazing toolbox.
Great video. Nice to see all the different sort of tools out. Need to start shopping again. I do want the tool grid. But to expensive getting it to the uk paying the taxes and shipping cost
Thank you for your continued service to this great country. I can’t thank you enough. That tool box is so awesome. And the organization is top notch. I’m sure Dustin went right to ordering. Continue the good work. Thanks for the amazing video my friend. Look forward to them every Saturday.
Excellent walk through. You guys always kill me Tess tape is a brand like 3M out of Germany it’s not a tape it’s harness or cloth tape technically. It’s cool tho that’s how good it is people refer to it as Tesa tape because it’s so popular
I’d love to have my stuff that clean! Big trucks, especially what I do is just dirty work. My box is decently clean but my cart is incredibly dirty and hard to keep clean.
I cant find tbe matco green knipex anywhere missed a 3 set for 125$ on fb marketplace once since i was waiting til pay day. They do sell reca cobranded knipex which are the same color lime green. Theyre expensive shipping though
It's guys like this that when you do have to bring a vehicle in you hope and 🙏 that he gets the job on it. Great video, these great techs invest alot of money in there trade.
OMG! love great tools just as much as the next person, but drinking the Snap-On/Matco coolaid is something else. Gear-Wrench ratchets FTW. I dont care how much money i have, I'll never own a some Snap on Tools.... Sure some are worth owning, but everyone? Snap-on pry bars? Mayhew Dominator bars, do the same thing, if not better for 4x less money.
I’d love to have a Mr big on! Send me a message on instagram @toolboxtours or send me an email toolboxtour@gmail.com. I’d love to see some pictures of it!!
My whole entire shop, my welder, press break, cnc plasma table, shear machine, metal roller, and all my tools don’t even cost that much. I’m making $200K-$300k yearly income. How much does the highest pay mechanic in the world makes?….my uncle works for Toyota dealer for over 25 years and he’s only making $75k a year.
Im working in russian bmw dealership rn, and we had 100 times worse toolboxes compared to this one. We don’t have our own special tools, they are collective. Like, we have only one brake piston compression tool for every technician. I envy you
Can we just stop and appreciate how he always puts the part numbers and prices of each tool shown in the video. Its so nice to have but it must take you forever to do when editing these.

MVP status! Definitely a great move!

Same here! It’s amazing how many tools are out there. I love it!
I can’t speak for everyone but, a lot of us have been able to make our tool boxes stronger because of Tool Box Tours. Big thanks to Dustin!!!
I appreciate that Mike!
Dude's tool box is worth more than my house.
Incorrect. Strap‐on is over valued.

Are you saying the housing market is not wildly overvalued?
I will say, the storage units are soo fking over priced it should be illegal.
Super nice box. I love how organized he is. Definitely looks like he enjoys it and bmw treats techs well.
Yeah he definitely enjoys wrenching on bmws!
Finally a BMW tech box tour. Been a bimmer tech for 8 years. Always wanted to see other bimmer techs tools.
Don’t you have other techs at work to see?
I'm just a at home hobby guy worth a focus on Mercedes. The lack of e torx tools is annoying

Cleanest Box yet Very nice 👌
Alex was one of the best techs from BMW of Murray that I knew while working there! He is definitely squared away and very knowledgeable!

That’s a fantastic question Jordan!
Snap on absolutely makes ratcheting Etorx wrenches. Part numbers begin with XDRE. Nice setup.
XDRE707 is the 7 piece set
E6 to E16
Gearwrench too
Good to know!
Damn he has a nice setup. And thank you for your service.
I agree!
So clean and organized I had to watch this one three times what a nice gentleman 👍😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi a very well informed tool box tour and a little more information on BMW’S

Nice a Heckler Koch guy! “In a world of compromise, some men don’t” I love my HK’s. Thanks for your service Alex

26:45... I've got one from Performance Tool..it works awesome...definitely a tool you need for cheap insurance..
I used to use an old cut up spark plug boot. I need to get one of those.
Love the green obviously!
Great video. Nice to see all the different sort of tools out. Need to start shopping again.
I do want the tool grid. But to expensive getting it to the uk paying the taxes and shipping cost
Damn what a Box.
I’ll know I’ve made it as a tech once this guy tours my box in the future
Very clean setup!
Allots of great great tool that must have cost fortune
I just go to Harbor freight and buy Icon tools for fraction of the cost 👍🏻
Please come to the uk 🇬🇧. I’ve got two epiqs you need to see 😊
I’d love to some day!
And while you are on this side of the pond…. Come to the netherlands as well! Many boxes to show. All smaller but with more specialist tooling.

How much is a set up like this valued at based on purchase price?
Does anyone know what kind of tile the shop has? Super nice and clean
Happiest marines you’ll find are in the army reserve lol
Dude.. No joke. I dunno how many ex marines we got in the Army. No promotions, no schools, shitty duty stations and asshole supervisors..
Fun fact: In hungary we use the word tesa tape (tesa szalag) for masking tape. Tesa also make those.

Can we get some Mercedes tech's on this ?!
I have a few on the channel 👍
Would love to see someone who works on old British cars. Ones with bsw or bsf fasteners to see someone without sae or metric tools.
On another channel there is a Brit who does a box tour but I didnt see many whitworth. When I see it again ill come back and post link.
Hopefully I’ll get into some shops that work on those 🤞

Did he put his tools together himself or was that provided by BMW? DO BMW provide tools?
How much in total?
witte screw drives are the best
Every mechanic has a few Garbage Freight tools hidden away for modifying , welding on , grinding on for special purposes .
That is true
I thought BMW made you use their built in boxes? I know MB does, at least in my area.
Some do, some don’t. Same with MB
How does he afford all this stuff maybe finance it all and pay it of bit but bit down the road
Lol how does he have a beard in the army reserves?
