Really liked this overview video. One thing I don't think you mentioned was how certain floors feel under your feet. We are older and the last time we chose flooring for the kitchen and bathrooms, we went with sheet vinyl (maybe 10 years ago?) because we didn't want to stand on hard tile. Luxury vinyl plank had not been invented yet, and laminate was not a good choice for kitchens and baths where water might destroy it. Now, I would definitely lean toward the luxury vinyl plank for those areas. It saves a lot of time to have an overview of available options like you have done here. Thanks for this video.
This was so informational! It was very helpful to hear about all of the options that Floor and Decor offer. I especially liked the free consultation service and affordable sample options. Great job!👍💕
I have the engineered wood floor in my family room and it's great. It feels good to walk on and cleans easily. It was installed long time ago and it still looks great! I loved this video.
We have something like the Nucore floor..it was called Cortec! It is an awesome floor! We have dogs and they don’t scratch the floors, they are super easy to clean. One of our dogs, a lab, has a hormone issue that cause her to urinate accidentally sometimes. We had this in our previous house and I love it!
My husband has been in the floor covering business for over 30 years and currently installs. We decide together what we are putting down. He brings me samples. I pick.
Hi Natalie, One thing that you need to know before you decide on flooring is what's underneath your existing flooring now. If you're on a concrete slab looking to redo your basement your choices are limited away from hardwood flooring because hardwood flooring is nailed in. Being on a concrete slab means messy glue, or snap together floating flooring..
Hi sweetheart I was wondering if you could do a Vinyl plank flooring video, I am re modeling a manufactured home for my parents and really need some ideas at with the best out there is from more than likely the waterproof type of flooring. Thank you so much!
So much useful information. You always have such good advice. We live in a mobile home, and when changing the flooring, we went with a floating floor, since we didn't want to pay a ton for an asbestos report. Was easy to install and we love it. Thank you so much for sharing!
Just so I understand... You have wood through out your house and you want to replace what is in the kitchen and bathrooms only? If the answer is yes... I would do some sort of traditional ceramic or porcelain tile in a neutral tone. Good question!
Oh, horrors! We just finished going through this. Just as soon as we picked out the right flooring, we were told it was not available, because it had to be imported from who knows where and could not be shipped during the pandemic. So, it was back to the drawing board, then back again and again. I like what we finally bought, but it's far from what we originally chose.

Designed to the Nines thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Holy nelly we were neighbors. I live in Idaho. Big change from Utah to Florida.
Oh wow! I was born and raised... Idaho is technically home, although I haven't lived there in many moons! =)

Oh no! So sorry to hear this.
How about off gassing issues/ health. Thx
Wow it sounds so complicated but I did go on the web site to get a catalog to see it
Maybe I’m just missing it. Couldn’t find the free Floor and Decor booklet.

Designed to the Nines thanks . Should have deleted. Found it.
I'm finishing my basement and that is the biggest thing I can't decide on
Hopefully these tips help you! Good luck!
I have ceramic tile and hardwoods. I also have carpet in my bedrooms. I hate my ceramic tile and carpet.
What do you like about your hardwood floors?
They are easier to clean. I have a light colored tile and it shows every speck of dirt.
@@jeanbanks1440 don't ever select dark wood or tiles, they show every speck of lint or animal hair,
I wish they offered a military discount. We’d definitely shop there instead of Home Depot if they did.
I'm considering cork floor. I live in Quebec, Canada. Does anyone have this?
Xx

This was very helpful.
Thank you ❤
I'm so glad! Thanks!
