Excellent chat about excellent hooks! The BKK Mutsu Light size #2 is proving to be very effective on Bronze bream /Bluefish and all other scratching fish. Works especially well tied with a simple "Tarpon knot" loop. Google the knot. Cotton on the bait mainly over the knot. Definitely will try the Baitholders for Shad. Many thanks Lads!
Lovely content keep them coming 👌.... Maybe a long shot here cause it's not so common nowadays but if guy could make a vid on multipliers or something to do with a sliding setups would be leke
Love the hooks chat . Only negative about hooks that dont rust is if it does get swallowed by a fish releastically its probably going to result in the fish dying if you cant get it out or what ? Just asking
Hi dropped you a whatsapp, but also answering here, assuming rock and surf, and the really big edibles in South African waters are big kob. Large baits and live baits are needed to maximise your chances, this needs a fairly sturdy rod around 5-7oz or 6-8oz, Assassin Equinox and Solar if on a budget. Or Okuma Precision or Euphoria. 14,6ft or 15ft. Reel wise, something that holds a fair bit of 40lb braid, from cheapest, Rovex BIGBOSS III 8000, OKUMA CEDROS 14000, PENN BATTLE III 6000 or 8000, OKUMA METALOID 90, Daiwa BG 6500 or 8000. Higher up the pricerange rod wise, Assassin Beachmaster II is stunning, Probably a No.6, or Assassin EVO or Horizon 6, Top end reels, Shimano Saragosa 14000, Penn Slammer 6500 would be popular choices.

Hey bud
Will add this to the list.
We have included multipliers in some tackle Tuesdays, but not in full detail.
Mustad was/is the name in hooks. Have they sat on the name and the brands like BKK have developed their hooks further?
BKK was quite unknown for years, but after 160 years, I think they are at the forefront of hook development
Also are the BKK gloves (Cold) friendly one wet?
They’re great gloves, but hold onto water when wet🫣
Very Very good product, only use them.👌
Awesome buddy🙏🏻

It is a problem bud.
Some of them do pass through and eventually break down, but the stronger and longer lasting hooks may take time as you say🙈
cant see what you are holding up... camera needs to zoom in !!!
Will do our best to highlight products- hooks are just a lot trickier.
