Just finished watching his earlier interview for the same group....must have been about 6 YRS earlier.....and he was so tired, self conscious about his mouth...kept covering his mouth when he laughed or smiled and would put his head down, and was just in general way more shy and kept smoking and drinking coffee. It was also obvious that the female interviewer was young and just didn't get his sense of humor at all. In this interview he was more mature and less nervous and self conscious. But, I love hearing as many interviews as I can find cause I love his voice and everything he has to say....he's quite funny and just loved when he looked dead on into the camera and his eyes just fixated and it was like he was looking right into my eyes; then a couple of minutes later he looked over and raised his eyebrows a few times and was smiling. He was something else. Thankful we have his music, his videos, his live concerts, and interviews. Just love hearing him talk. Such a regular guy with an unbelievable gift. He will be missed forever.💘 😔 💔
Agreed. This is the era where I REALLY discovered Tom. I was 12. I had been peripherally aware of him for some years before, but Full Moon Fever was the first album I bought that EVERY track was perfect. It was the first "perfect" record I encountered, and I've only heard 3 or 4 perfect albums in my 44 years. They don't happen every day.
I never knew him or met him, but isn't it hard letting him go? I'm just a sentimental soul at heart.
It's hard knowing there won't be any more Petty songs.
Tom petty had class !! Happy birthday Tom you’ll never be forgotten 🙏
What a beautiful voice!
I love his face, his lips, He just has this Mysterious
thing about him. I can only embrace this Devine connection.
Harrison, Orbison and Petty RIP
A wonderful interview with an awesome man 🤩

This is an excellent interview, well done on covering so much ground in such a short amount of time, Tom is a legend.
16:24 OMG!! I love his fun side!
Tom has such a cool drawl when he talks, the voice of a true rocker.
Humble King.
I just can't believe this post only has 60506 views! 04/12/2020! May the Light be with us all, in these times of darkness! Cheers
16:21 well this is my favorite moment :D did not see that coming
That moment says a lot about the man I think. Wonderful :)
Stevie Nicks said he IS the Mad Hatter and I believe her. Haha
Aaaaah these blue eyes 🥰🥰🥰 cute thing 💙
Legend 🙏🏻
Thomas Earl Petty (Gainesville, Florida; 20 de octubre de 1950−Santa Mónica, California; 2 de octubre de 2017).
I think "Zombie Zoo" was the only track Roy Orbison sang on on FMF.
🎉🎸🎉
Jeff Lynne would go on to produce Petty's 2006 album, Traveling Companion.
As Tom said, just another day in the life of a wilbury.
