I made this compilation to make it easier for people to find all of these stories. These are clips from interviews I've done over the years. Feel free to share it with your favorite Tom Petty fan.

This is gold. Thank you Uncle Larry and Otis. Tom is a national treasure and even greater than that. I have always thought that Tom Petty was guarded because he wanted to protect his relationship with his writing space, emotionally and psychologically. He didn’t want to congest the channel. I can’t think of another American songwriter that wrote more hits… and so honest and eclectic. Mojo is the peak for me

My FAVORITE guitar player speaking first-Tom Bukovac . I was just so so so compelled to see Tom Petty and I’m so glad I went. I saw him front row in Seattle and he looked beat, bent and worn-STILL put on a wonderful show. TomPetty missed the next gig but went on to finish this final tour-TomPetty does it for the music and his fans- rest in peace, beautiful soul, great music maker.

Great video Otis. Man I love Petty right from the beginning. He captured the essence of good no bs music, right from his early releases in the mid '70s on....I shall always miss him.

Breakdown is my jam. It's just perfect. Everything you need in a great song in under 3 minutes. Mike' insane guitar lick. Benmont just laying cool underneath it all. Smooth baseline. And Tom himself, breaking down. So good. So so good. ✌️

Wow Tom Bukovac! Thanks Otis my favorite uncle Larry is a great interview! Two of my favorite people in the music business Otis and Tom! You’ve absolutely made my day with this so a giant thanks from the SanFrancisco Bay Area! Oakland to be more precise. Absolutely love your UTUBE channel Otis! This gift is deeply appreciated! I feel so lucky to have been able to see Tom Petty and The Heart Breakers five times live, twice with Bob Dylan. Kenny and all your guest interviews shared wonderful insight’s into this singular man/artist and his amazing band. One of the greatest song writers of our times!👍❤️💕🎸🙏✌️👋

He was a genius! Pure and simple! As gifted as he was, he was just as humble! I never felt so sad about an artist passing as I did with his passing. Sometimes I can’t listen to a particular song till the end because I get so emotional. What a unique soul he was!

KLOS in Los Angeles. Around 2003 Jim Ladd s series if interviews. All great. Ladd had dj'd the LA scene since the early 80's? Like since forever. It's 2003 best I recall he interviewed an old friend Tom Petty all the songs that were played. Tom Petty had a truck load of great songs. Has I should say. They will live forever
