I have Ubuntu 18 and bought the same setup, it worked right away. Remember to go into the transmitter and change it to trainer mode. I used Velocidrone sim.

The link of the cable given in description shows that it can only be used for the firmware update, not for the simulator or does it still works???
I have a thinkpad. What’s the best sim for me?
So I used this controller with
the cable that comes with it in a quite old and bad laptop that runs in some
random Android operative system (I know that's strange...) and I had no
problems whatsoever. I was using the free version of FPV Freerider, which I
downloaded from the PlayStore ( yes, the Play Store in a laptop). I was happy.
But a few days later I couldn't use that laptop anymore, and when I tried to
play the simulator on my real computer (which runs in Windows 10), I couldn't
calibrate the controller. The PC recognizes the joysticks, and when I go to the
game devices settings, I'm able to calibrate it perfectly. But still, when I
try to do it in the simulator, the bars (which show the position of the sticks
and all the info that the controller gives to the PC) are all messed up and it
just doesn't calibrate correctly. I tried the same thing in three more computers
(all running in different versions of Windows), just to verify it wasn't my
computer's fault, and it didn't work either...
I'm reluctant to buy this new
cable since the old one that comes with the controller has once worked
perfectly, showing that the problem is not coming from that reason.
Does anyone know something
that could help me?

I can't get mine won't work right, when I push the right stick up it goes up at an angle... I move it up and down and it makes an X...

With my FlySky FS-I6 controller sticks all centered, in FPV Freerider the circles in the calibration menu show the first ones to be at the bottom and some on top. When I movethe sticks they go in straight up and then bottom again. How can I set all to the middle in the game?

The USB Cable you have in the description from Banggood is only for update the Firmware, NOT for simulator.
So how does he control it? Is it possible to run a simulator with a USB cable, not the microphone mini-jack like in every other tutorial (don't have the microphone input on my computer)?
@@TheGenoharadan Maybe, you should buy a cheap USB sound card to make it run. It's very small device and very cheap
@@CarlosMtnez or buy a receiver that supports ibus and connect it through FC and BetaFlight. Have you ever checked that option?
if i wer to show this . it should show the pin out on the connector of the trainer on the FS-i6 to the USB connector. this is useless.

You probably have a cable that can be used only for firmware updates

Im.using fs- i6x it doesnt work well. I push the left stick up it spins left. I push left stick down it spins right. I push the left stick left and right nothing happens

Sorry but for a Tutoial you incompetent. You switch the settings on the Transmitter and dont hold the Transmitterdisplay to the camera O.o
