Hello! I have noticed that the servos connected to my FS-I6X/FS-iA10B only turn about half way. With an oscilloscope I found that the PWM signal is only from 1ms to 2ms, centered at 1.5ms, instead of 0.5ms-2.5ms or so. What could be the cause? Is this some kind of setting I cannot find? Maybe you can help? Thanks in advance, Blaz

The data wire needs to go to a UART / RX port pin on the flight controller. The R2, or R3, or R6 should work. Then you just select whichever one you grabbed in your Betaflight configuration.
G’day mate ,do you have any experience using Ardupilot ? I’m trying to connect my Rc to my Fc Orange cube plus and I can not succeed, any advice or suggestions ?
Hello Does anyone know how to change the I-BUS Channel output? My problem is that when I use the FS-I6X Sender as Trainer I cannot use Channel 1 because the channel output is mixed with I-bus Output
The manual says it's compatible so it should bind like any others. Jumper the bind pin, add power, hold your bind button on your TX and power on. Looking at a quick photo of one, the bind pins are labelled on Channel 3 on that one.
I'm having trouble with my emitter talking to my flight controller. It is a speedybee f405 F4 and i have the flysky fs-i6 and the fs-ia6b. it wont show up in bataflight as working. It is set to rx 2 on the port and soldered to rx2 it is in serial mode with ibus selected. basically i dont get the colored bars and the buttons don't work. I did flash the flight controller and the esc's with bluejay. do you have any idea where i can look to fix this? thanks
I had that transmitter in my first plane, it kept loosing signal after about a two minute time frame and distance, yanked it out of my plane and bought a used spektrum and haven't had a problem.
All electronics systems can have failures. The failure rate with this protocol and radio has proved to be remarkably low - similar to Spektrum. The normal range possible can be seen by Googling up the test video by iforce2d in New Zealand. Bang for buck the simple little Flysky FS-i6x transmitter makes the over-priced Spektrum gear look laughable. For those who require a far more competent radio most folks who aren't already trapped in the financial clutches of E-flite/Spektrum would chose a Multi Protocol OpenTX/EdgeTX/ELRS radio like the Radiomaster TX16SMk2. With the latest firmware they are equivalent in capabilities to the most expensive Spektrum radios - at an order of magnitude lower cost! Plus they can run about 100 different protocols (including all the Spektrum Gear) on the same radio.

Hi there. This is 2nd time trying to use the IA6B receiver and can not get it to work with FS-I6 xmitter. Always used IA6 rec'r. Did you do something special? Joe
@@TheWayneStevenson Sorry mate, but that is pure BS! The iA6B receiver can output PWM, PPM, i-Bus AND S-bus provided that the transmitter you are using can be set to transmit any or all of them. Since no one else seems to understand why or what to do.. my FS i6x has the worst servo resolution/frame rate i have every experienced. I get it.. it’s a $60 transmitter, but what can be done? I recently updated to there “version 2022” from their website to update the firmware. But still the same. Massive delay.. and having to use 100% expo on all channels to even fly my EDF’s with some sort of confidence.
It's a bit of a confusing question since servos do not have a resolution or frame rate. They would also have nothing to do with video related issues. If you are having issues with your video, be sure you are using compatible products. It sounds like you may have a VTX that isn't playing well with your Headset. Be sure you are on the right channel and not just very close to the frequency. It's cheaper to buy a new VTX than a new headset.
The FS-iA6b and the FS-iA10b are identical with the exception that the 6 has 6 PWM channels and the 10 has 10. Which I believe I explained earlier in the video. Possibly not. Everything is the same in terms of powering, configuration, and using PPM connection or iBus. If you're using an older flight controller or a plane / helicopter with servos then you would use PWM channels instead.
the only thing good about Flysky is how cheap they are, but really cheap and crappy transmitters are not the way to go in this hobby if you are really into this hobby. just give those crappy remotes away to a newbie
I've never had issue with their quality. One of them I've logged hundreds of sim hours on without a hitch. Their receivers too. Though last year I switched over to the TX16S and while it did feel different can't say I utilized any features that the FS-i6 with the channel mod couldn't do.
