The way Laurie screamed 'You absolute pit of fucking vipers' killed me. As much as that bit did his friendship with everyone at the table.

I love how Sully sounds like he's consistently a drunken toddler. There's just something about him talking that makes me giggle every time he opens his mouth.

Tom getting slightly pissed towards the end when people didn’t flip the cards right was hilarious. His little head nods
Laurie unraveling after being silenced is one of the best moments. Watching everyone's reactions was priceless
I watched this game twice just for that.
To be fair that wasn't an unraveling, that was an anger explosion.

With a thumbnail that appears to depict Adam and Sully recoiling from Laurie in what appears to be a meltdown the likes of which Jon Gracie would approve of; I feel this episode of BGC is going to be something special to behold.
It's worth the wait to find out why Laurie had the meltdown.

Fun fact: Lovecraft was born with syphilis due his father's philandering, so he likely WAS already quite mad when he wrote "The Call of Cthulhu," where he describes the pronunciation as "unpronounceable by a human tongue." I think Dom's got it about as close as it can go.

Surely I can’t be the only one who really wants to read / see Dom’s Lovecraft play. I was curious but weary and fully sold when he said it’s mostly about what a jackass he was and featured Edgar Allen Poe.

This is one of THE BEST episodes you have done. I have returned to this video many times, it has all the best elements of NRB. Good gameplay, clear rule explanations, amazing bits and humor, ups and downs in the game, amazing cast and just super good time! I wanted to leave a comment in this older video 'cause its one of my favourite videos.
Sullivan may be the funniest man I've watched. Every episode of NRB he is in, he is the funniest, which is saying something as almost all of the players are entertaining.

I seem to remember back in the very first episode of Board Game Masterpieces, Adam told us about the lovely game of Cosmic Encounter. He also went on to talk a lot of shit on the entire concept of "joint victory." How curious that that particular tune seems to have changed here huh?

I do want to talk a little bit about probability, bc Brooke is actually correct. And so is everyone else. The chances of any particular person being a cultist is always 2/6 with 6 people, but the chances of the same outcome occurring consecutively does get smaller the more times it occurs.
Like, the outcome of rolling a particular number on a dice is always 1/6, but the chances of rolling the same number twice in a row is 1/36.
