Hi, how do you disconnect the break fluid pipes that goes from the bottle to the bottle on the master cylinder. Good video by the way:)

Very concise explanation, thank you, Carmandos.
Question: Did the new reservoir as shown in the video, come with the pipe that links the lower reservoir to the upper reservoir or were you able to attach the original connecting pipe to the new reservoir?
The clip connector on my 308's upper brake reservoir's connecting pipe is leaking badly and the reservoir is now empty. Peugeot agents say that I cannot purchase the connecting pipe (and connector) as a new unit only but I have to buy the lower reservoir with the pipe attached!
Did you simply pry the pipe from the lower reservoir's nipple and use the existing connecting pipe?

Hi, yes we reuse the old pipe. I’m sure you can buy the pipe separate on eBay. Just when you refit the pipe there’s a little rubber seal inside put that over the net for first and then push the pipe over it goes on a lot easier

Hi! Why did you change it? They also tell me that it needs to be changed. The brake pedal drops very smoothly down to the floor. Is it true that a repair kit is not sold for him?

When the engine is off pump the brake pedal, it should stay hard if it syncs to the floor, it means that the master cylinder is faulty . That’s why we change that.

@@carmandosgarage My pedal only drops when the engine is running ... Do you know what's wrong?

    • @carmandosgarage

That’s how we test them mate we pump it up and so it’s hard hold it down start the engine and it should go down softly that means the master cylinder and booster is working right

@@carmandosgarage I have the same. When the engine is off, the pedal is hard. When the engine is on, the pedal is hard, but drops down sooo smoothly. There are no leaks anywhere. Could this mean there is air in the ABS module?

That’s possible to have you checked that you’ve got good vacuum on the brake booster
