My car is a Citroën C4, 1.2 petrol, 2015 model. Not always, but sometimes the clutch stays down. I lift it back up with my foot, and after doing this, I can drive the car. There are no warning lights on the dashboard. What could be the problem? Could it be the cylinder (hydraulic system), or should I replace the entire clutch? thank you.
Wicked video. I followed easily. Top vid 👏🔥 Only trouble with my car is. Where you sit the new part mine sits in with the pump. Bit open. The plate that it sits in that you said pushes it in. Is already out. Hope I've explained it enough. When I put my part in where you close the pump mine goes in open. Any idea what to look at next?
I have a problem on a Citroen C4 II, the clutch squeals a lot, the sound comes from the cylinder, is it possible that the piston guide on the cylinder is broken or does the ball on the thrust bearing fork need to be lubricated
I've just watch your video again and where you said it sits in the plate so when you push the clutch it pushes it forward. My plate. The exits in is already forward. The clutch pedal was like yours was just loose ? Any help would be much appreciated 👍🙏
Just picked up a 2008 and got clutch issues, peddle all the way to the floor and cannot pull it back up and the slave cylinder is all the way out fully extended, any ideas. Great video by the way
Hi mate. Today on the way to work, after 10 miles, the clutch pedal became soft half way through and it started slipping badly. Clutch was replaced 2y ago and not slipped until today. I have noticed that the slave is not compressed fully when the clutch is not pressed. I can still shift gears but feels like the pedal was not fully reversed and there is a delay in reaction after pressing it. Do you think it will be slave that's at fault?
hi mate, just watched this video and found it good, I have a berlingo 1.6hdi 08 plate on 154km my pedal is staying down but I can lift it up with my foot and keep driving, few days ago my brake light came on then this happened, it was hard to get gears then I topped up fluid and it do seem better, is this likely to be slave or clutch
Thanks for watching.

Cylinder hydraulic system I would say

Pretty sure that will be the slave fella

Definitely the slave
yes definitely the slave and changed it last night for £20
Followed the instructions but still no pressure how long was you pumping the clutch with your hand just not working
Make sure you open the tap for the air to exit, once fluid starts coming through you should be ok
Put cover back on when fluid leaks from tap?
Also do I push the 2nd clip in after bleeding?
Can I ask you question about my car
