I’m such a sucker for all these hair, gizmos and gadgets L O L! Having a short pixie cut I don’t need them now, so this was fun to watch. And you get some very good results with those I think the Dyson air wraps, etc. or absolutely ridiculously priced and it’s amazing how viral they’ve gone.
Your hair is thick, but as you age the strands will get thinner. I absolutely think it is worth it to get in the habit of using a heat protectant now to maintain your hair health. I have dense but very fine hair and use the Bumble heat protector spray, and it definitely helps prevent damage. Plus seems to keep the curl in much longer. But as for tools, my hairdresser just laughs about all these gadgets! She can do magic with the basics.
I’m fairly new to the Tymo Ring, but I’ll say that I really like it for my very curly, but fine hair. That being said, I like it when I first straighten my clean hair, because it makes quick (and nice) work of it. My curly hair pretty much went from wild to sleek, just like the Instagram ads. But once I have a few days of wear on my hair and I’m into the dry shampoo (curly hair gets in the habit of shampooing once a week 🙂) I’ve found that the Tymo doesn’t quite hack the touch up and my regular old classic straightener does a better job. And it’s not product vs no product, it just doesn’t do very well with limp, lived in hair, in my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️ Just my two cents, so it may just depend what you’d like to use it for.
I have the beach waver that rotates for you when you push the button and I love it. It some how gets my hair done quicker then when I use a regular curling wond. I think it would be super amazing for anyone that has hand or Wrist issues like carpal tunnel.

The one with the tiny barrel that made your hair so curly! I’ll curl my hair with it at night and not brush it out. The next day, when I comb through it, the curls are perfect…and will last for days!
I like it but I don’t love it. If you have a GHD or Dyson straightener then the TYMO isn’t any good but if the TYMO is the only one you have, you might really like it. It just doesn’t compare to the higher models I have to admit
I have fine frizzy hair. The problem I have with a normal flat iron straightener is that it makes my hair as flat as a pancake. Ive ordered the Tymo to see if it gives a more natural look
Rebecca, I am a mom of four and let me tell you the beach waver (one of those automatic robotic curlers) saves me so much time in the morning. I can actually end up curling my hair before I have to take everyone to school. They can be a little scary at first, but I highly recommend them.

That one was the most disappointing for me. Also that charge… I had heard it was bad but it’s worse than that.
That is so interesting because I had another comment about that also from the Netherlands. I think the plugs are only US speculations and that’s such a shame
This made me laugh! I think we are hair-device-challenged twins. I’ve been using my $20-ish Conair hair dryer and Conair hot air curling brush for over 10 yrs. I recently declutterred a huge box of hair tools that I tried maybe twice and hated. I keep thinking that new and improved tools will actually be new and improved for me. I’ve had my latest purchase, a T3 Stylemax, for a few months. It’s still in the box. Have to mentally work myself up to take the time and learn how to use it.
This, is so true! I have to be in the right mood take a deep breath first have an hour or so of time to spare. It’s like a whole mood. The moon has to be in the right cycle etc. before I can try a new device
My hair is fine and thinner than yours, so I think that straightening brush would probably work well on my hair type. When i use a regular flat iron, I always turn the ends of my hair under too much.
I'm really into make up... as you can see but I've been needing to get sometihng for my hair and get rid of ones I'm not using. Not good with my hair ...wigs are easier lol my daughter can make ribbons with a straightener not me. Been dreading looking into it but this was very helpful and timely, thank u!! Yeah I get that surprised look on my face when a curl turns out right LOL by the way those crimpers for beach waves, they get very hot but did use it last summer on a human hair wig on low heat, takes a long time and you have to do it carefully but it does work and stays...(the 3 prong ones) but again it's bulky and I'm not good with these things but... it does work and depending on how long you keep it in you get the beachy princess going to a renaissance festival look or just "hey you got cute curls" look (ps bought a cheap one on sale at ulta with good reviews) may try the Le Duo, thanks.
Them curling wands scare me 😂 i always think what if my hair gets suck 😮 I'm interested in trying the Zuvi hairdryer because it uses light technology to dry your not heat, i have thin fine hair so i think that will be a good one, i heard alot about it in 2023 🤔 I still love my GHD strangers i have used GHD for about 15 yrs 😊
Maybe it's just me for having PTSD from having a battery operated toy train cut out of my hair as a kid but I'm not putting a robotic spinning curling iron on my hair either. LOL
To this day I still will not use an umbrella in the rain because I got my finger caught closing an umbrella when I was little and I’ve never wanted to look at one again. Total childhood trauma
I find that the hot hair brushes are good for the days after I wash my hair, like if I straighten it the day I wash and just need a touch up the next day - if I go back in again with a flat iron my hair gets too flat, the brushes will smooth out any areas I slept on without making my hair too flat. I despise heat protectant. I've tried soooooo many and hate them all. They all make my hair feel yucky. For me the BEST curling iron in the industry is the T3 1" Single Pass. I have a bunch of curling irons and the T3 is superior to them all, but I'm pretty good at doing my hair and don't need anything specialized, just a good curling iron.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty that’s why I ended up with so many, “OH THIS ONE ISN’T LIKE THAT”. Not falling for it anymore. All styling products claim to have some heat protection so I’ll just go with whatever amount is in those products.

I woz hoping u would try the beachwaver lol but i understamd u xx i am hair impaired 2 lol 😆
I need to try it next!!
Yesss with the icky heat protectors. People will tell us we are wrong but I’m telling you we are right!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty that’s why I ended up with so many, “OH THIS ONE ISN’T LIKE THAT”. Not falling for it anymore. All styling products claim to have some heat protection so I’ll just go with whatever amount is in those products.
