Sounds like you tuned her vocals down to fit the song? I would be interested to hear how it sounds with the song tuned up to the vocals but I'm guessing that's harder to than just manipulating a vocal track
Good point - I know the original well, but you're right. In my view, it did not stand out to me (I was aware i subconciously noticed but I hadn't thought about what I noticed) because it works so well and it's only the notes/tune, nothing to do with what she's actually capable of singing
