@Martin Ivanov Technically, he almost dies in the fight too according to the novel, even when he awakens they mention how deep his wounds are and how it almost punctures his carotid artery man didn't fuck around he knew he could kill it but even in the book he knew he did have a high chance to die if not executed properly

I more meant that Show Geralt is more "Realistic" than Game geralt because Game geralt was barely hit by the Striga and was pretty much playing with it till the end while Show Geralt was being tossed around and he and the striga were trading blows

Geralt is supposed to be a profesional who trained years to fight monsters.
Geralt was focused more on dancing around it and scare it away.
The only reason why Geralt almost dies against the Striga is because he let his guard down.

I felt that the netflix version showed a more "realistic" version of geralt in the sense that even he can have trouble fighting monsters and that he isn't invincible. Being a witcher doesn't mean you're invincible it just means you know how to fight monsters and are capable of slaying them unlike normal human beings

    • @karaban4427

Have you read a books about witcher???
Yes i've read, so Geralt didn't take any injuries during the fight with the Striga. The witcher 1 intro is correct.

@@SifGreyfang No, your comment doesn't make sense, you haven't read, so i won't argue with you, because you don't know nothing. Besides, the Netflix series has so many contradictions to the book.
      I Hope it isn't canonical.
Geralt is a professional and no striga is and has not been a problem for him.
In the book, the Geralt clearly played with the striga, did not even use a sword. Geralt was amused by the helplessness of the beast he defeated with his fists. Witchers are incredibly fast, and an experienced witcher would not be as beaten as geralt in the Netflix series.
The Netflix series is not a realistic Witcher, but a silly caricature that takes Yenefer tits as main theme.
The netflix series starts getting dumb when you read the books.
I know you meant the trouble of being a Witcher but Witcher 1 intro is still mooore correct.
PS. I had the pleasure to read The Witcher books in their native language. Sorry for my English bro.
