the knowledge and experience helps to repair it quickly but finding and testing the parts is not difficult. It has all simple off the shelf parts that can be tested by an amateur using a cheap component tester like MG328. Even if every part is removed and tested it will eventually be fixed after all parts are tested and faulty parts replaced.

Thanks for this great video. Can you tell me why the dim bulb flickers for a while then stops. Is this the capacitors taking a while to charge? Does this only happen because of the pfc circuit?
