{1057} Delta 24V power supply repair, no output voltage

- In this video number {1057} Delta 24V 12.5A Power supply repair, NO OUTPUT, I explained how to repair SMPS switch mode power supply, Delta electronics, switching power supply, Model PMC-24V300W1BA, 24 volt, 12.5 ampere, 300 watt, with 12V SB. it was not turning on. while troubleshooting, i found fuse burnt-out, i found smd marking code AA, SOD323, diode part number BAV19WS-G unserviceable, 20N60C3 igbt in PFC section was also short circuit. 54B65 PFC controller is was also damaged. as the IGBT short circuited, which caused damage to 54B65 PFC controller ic, and this PFC controller IC damaged the power supply of the standby section. after removing the short circuited IC chip, its VCC power supply raised to normal condition.

It's not igbt but mosfet. take a closer look at the infinion logo SPW20N60C3

Nice job ! How can it be working without PFC circuit ?
PFC circuit must be functional to get the rated maximum output voltage. otherwise its line regulation will decrease, in this case SMPS will not provide rated ouput current specially at dropped line voltage conditiones

Sir how this power supply works without igbt and that ic when you removed it from circuit 🤔🤔 is there any bypass system to flow the voltage in out put section
20N60C your conclusion was this igbt is damage but you did not tell how did you recognize this damage
Sir, i have 12v power supply but only provides 9v and can't be adjust ... It uses KA7500 ic. When connect the multimeter to pin number 4 and 7 it shows a 3.5 v to up . Pin 4 is high so i think ic is not switching , i learned it from your videos. HOW TO SOLVE THIS SIR plz tell me how to troubleshoot
Sir which solder wire you used? I think solder wire that you used is contains flux also inside am I right?
yes you are right
i use BOW Electronics solder wire 60% tin, 40% lead with rosen core
i also use KESTER solder wire 60/40 core
alpha solder wire 60/40 with flux core
Mechanic 63/37 with flux core
