Osman is one of the most underrated players in the prem

Dave moyes was the man. Underapreciated. It was a myth that he played boring defensive football. Only at the beginning when we didn't have good enough players did we deploy those tactics.

It's a myth that we didn't play good football under Moyes

Too right - for all the haters out there, Moyes bought us a level of stability I had never seen at Everton, and I'm 51. We has a purple patch on the mid 80's book ended by mediocrity . Christ, I had to wait until I was 9 to see us beat Liverpool (Thanks Andy King).

@@lr882027 There was a player named Andy King at Leicester but I know it wasn't that one haha. If only we had Moshiri under Moyes we'd have won trophies.

What a team and what a manager, both put together no doubt on a shoe string, unlike the very expensively assembled bunch of wankers we currently have. 🙄 And to all those anti Moyes people out there......... 🤔

@@lr882027 Shows how far we've fallen in 50 years that we regarded the era from 71 to 80 where we had an appearance in the last 8 of the Champions cup, 2 proper title bids, a league cup final and three cup semi finals as a mediocre era because going close wasn't good enough back then. Yep, King was my first derby win too. [Though technically Hamilton should have been my first derby win]

A team full of men who had the bottle unlike the overpaid ones we have currently. Loved Cahill, Arteta, the Yak and that side back then. Brings back childhood memories

McShane is the single worst defender I've ever saw in person at Goodison.

Most of those guys, as they were then, would walk into the 2021/2 team. In fact, some could get a game now.

Remember the days when we could score one...and NOT throw the lead away with shit defence and stupid mistakes
