It is more or less native. Waydroid is similar too what wine and proton are doing.

Pretty worthless without the play store.. won't let me go to the Google play website and download to my steam deck either..
Newer installs come with the play store as a option
The OS beta version is not supported. it should be stable version.

It's an emulator, not actual android so its normal if it operates poorly

Maybe. Download google chrome on the android emulator and from there find and download the apk file you want. I am unsure if this will work though

its an emulator... not anything else. this isn't installing android on a steam deck. this is installing an emulator on a steam deck
fyi, waydroid isn't same with emulator
Bliss OS is what you need to run Android natively on the Deck.
Waydroid isn’t actually an emulator but it isn’t running natively
It’s running in a container, which is very close to running natively so it uses less resources.
