ls - shows you a list of files and directories in the directory you're in. Use the "-l" flag to show a vertical list with additional information such as file permissions and size (in bytes). So that would be "ls -l"
cd - lets you change to a different directory by adding the path where you want to go to the command. This can either be absolute, e.g. "cd /home/deck/Downloads" or relative, e.g. "cd Downloads" if you're already in the deck home directory. Going up a directory, e.g. from /home/deck/Downloads back to /home/deck is done with "cd .." (a double dot)
@@RudyBleeker ok thanks I'll take a look again when I get back home
Oh... Does this work on desktop pcs NOT running steamOS specifically or any variation of it? I'm on kubuntu and considering moving to something else arch-based
You can install Waydroid on your Linux desktop, but the script I used in the video won't work on anything other than SteamOS
@@gardiner_bryant I imagined. Waydroid felt very unusual to install, I couldn't figure it out yet but I'm sure when the need arises, I will figure it out
@@leonoliveira8652 I too run Kubuntu on my desktop, and I got it mostly working a few months ago. I ran into some issues with my GPU (it's a 3060) not liking Wayland or something, but it mostly worked. Then I realized I didn't need it and stopped using it. That was my first attempt and I didn't do much research so depending on your system I don't see the need to switch to arch unless you want arch.
That is dope. But I struggle to think of an android app I would be excited to run on this. I mostly used my phone for emulation SqaureEnix RPGs.
