You introduced them like you would introduce an old friend. And you knew them all by name. The one I’m jealous of would be that long Mac locking flex. Excellent collection.
Man what a collection, thats super cool and you know all the tooth counts. Started on USA craftsman '08, boss gave me a Snap on 3/8tq wrench, F936 and a blue point ftw936 in '09(lol he was sponsored back then). Broke the 3/8 Cman in 2011 and they gave me a non US version, it broke months later. Then I relied on the blue point for years(lost the 936). 2 years ago my Blue point seemed off on a job, took it apart and the ring gear has 2 cracks idk if they make replacement kits for it, but a decade of use(4 full time and the rest weekend projects/maintence) not bad for a "gimmick" ratchet. I even put cheaters on it frequently. Found my f936 after that but its so stiff even after a rebuild. Been upping my collection to all US and Japanese made ratchets now. Its crazy how much easier task are now with better equipment. Even the old 700 series snap on feel better than the 900 series IMO. Thanks for the showcase and hope you have a decent day.
Ever notice how folks naturally collect objects that are smooth and shiny ? Sea shells , shiny rocks , bottle caps for example. You think these tool manufacturers haven't figured this out ? They know what they're doing.
Nice collection sir. I read somewhere that the average Tech has 18 ratchets. While I have exceeded the avg I have no where near your count. Other than a Koken and a Nepros all of mine are American made. I have a 3/8 and a 1/2 inch Craftsman USA speed wrench. Once in awhile I will use them on a Trans or Oil pan or anything with a high fastener count. I just find them fun to use. Stay strong brothers.
Someday I'll get all my ratchets in one place. I honestly fear that day, when I can get a count. I've got multiple toolboxes in different locations. I know the USG 5 drawer cart in my fathers garage has over a dozen. The toolbox in the shed also has over a dozen. And I've got no clue how many I've got stashed away in the Jeep, the house, and anywhere else. As of late, I've been on a ratchet buying spree, so at least 1 per week is getting added.
Thanks for watching and commenting! The blue comfort grips are just several layers of Plasti Dip. I think I dipped them each 7 times to get the size I was looking for. They haven't loosened up yet. I let each layer dry for a few hours before adding another layer.
@@van1196 I have a old Mac 30 tooth pear head 3/8. That ratchet looks like my Sheppard chewed it up and spit it out. I weigh roughly 250 and have put my body weight behind. Given it the beans. Used it to hammer things (yes I know not what it’s for but we make do when we’re under things) and that ratchet has never broken or given me any grief. I’ve had higher tooth count ratchets break in the past. I’ve heard the same thing they are stronger and I must assume that they are based on that Mac ratchet.
I have my favorites that I use regularly but most of them are just for collecting. I've been a tool fanatic since I can remember and ratchets seem to be what I tend to buy as of lately.
Icon don't miss a trick the twenty four k ratchet lol what ever snap-on ever does we will do cheeper, there is nothing wrong with icon, icon its a good brand at the price point but gold plated ratchet's you would be to scared to scratch it lol. Ps I've got about 7-8 ratchet's (1/4-3/8-1/2) and a bit ratchet.. Good video 👍🏻

Thanks for watching! I was looking for the 14" Mac but he didn't have it on the truck.
I haven't met too many people with more ratchets than me... But you sir take the cake 😂🤘
Wow thats an impressive collection thank you for posting....
Que bonita coleccion! Muchas gracias por compartir 👍🏻

That is impressive!
The long locking flexhead comfort grip long is a 90tooth BTW

Nice Collection!
Keep all the snap on, then sell all others and buy more snap on. They have the best ratchets hands down.
Thanks for watching and commenting! Snap-on ratchets are sweet.
they’re okay, the head is bulky as hell compared to various other brands
for me its between Snap- and Koken
Awesome collection!
Nice, I only have half that many
Thanks for watching and commenting!
what blue handle is that you put on the ratchets yourself and are they a rubber material?
Very cool set.
Curious what’s the story behind the gold plated icon ratchet?
I’m assuming it was a serial numbers low production offering
Thanks for watching and commenting! The gold Icon ratchet is supposed to have been a limited production but you can still get them. Not serialized.
Where did you get those blue comfort grips? Do you like them or are they what you would expect out of a non secured grip?
Thanks for watching and commenting! The blue comfort grips are just several layers of Plasti Dip. I think I dipped them each 7 times to get the size I was looking for. They haven't loosened up yet. I let each layer dry for a few hours before adding another layer.
Man.....................that's a lot. I have two 1/2'' - seven 3/8'' and one 1/4.''

Wonderfully collection caused an issue in my pants in all honesty. Well played mate

Is there any benefit to the lower tooth count ratchets?
Thanks for watching! I've heard that the lower tooth count ratchets are usually stronger. I'm not sure if it's true or not.

Very comprehensive collection. Kudos. But is this just for the sake of collecting, or are you actually using them?
I have my favorites that I use regularly but most of them are just for collecting. I've been a tool fanatic since I can remember and ratchets seem to be what I tend to buy as of lately.
What a ratchet collection! Thanks for sharing
@@van1196 I have about 50 or so - beaut of a colletion - if you had to pick one?
Mine would be my snap-on 1/4 72T roto head
@@van1196 oh, you have some Tone in there, get some Koken as well
@@glenndavis2762 I got a Koken right before Christmas. Love the backdrag on it, but I don't like the selector switch being opposite of most ratchets.

Thanks for watching and commenting! The gold ratchet is just for looks.
I have about 40 ratchets..and I feel that's probably too many...😳
I hear what you're saying but on the other hand can you ever have to many tools.
Awesome ratchet collection Bro but you are missing the real American Beauty , Ratchet:Proto 1/2 inch Cornwall 1/2 inch made in de USA 🇺🇸
Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes I'm missing a lot of USA made ratchets. Hopefully someday I'll come across them.
Nice collection, why no koken?
Thanks for watching and commenting! I have a Koken ratchet and socket set now. I got them right before Christmas, but that video was made before then.
in your box videos you have ratchet holders what are they?
Thanks for watching and commenting! The ratchet holders are a similar design to the original Ratchet Dock
You can buy the Ratchet Dock's from Apexorganizers.com. I changed the design of mine and 3D printed them.
Now which one is your favorite or most used
Thanks for watching and commenting! The Snap-on 1/4" extra long flex head is my favorite and the most used is the 3/8" long Snap-on.
Most of the collection never gets used
Thanks for watching! Some of them don't get used as often as others.
No Milwaukee?
Not yet. I just got my hands on the 3/8" at work and they do feel good.
What do you have against Japanese and German ratches? lol
Nothing against either. I do have a few Japanese ratchets, but none from Germany. I do have a lot of Knipex pliers though.
he has some Tone
Very nice, now witch one is your favorite?
The Snap-on TFLL72 which is the long 1/4" flexhead.
