When in TTL mode, the remote does not control the light power. I can scroll the trigger and see the change but there is NO change on the power settings on the light itself. No matter how much adjust the compensation for TTL there is no power output change. What is going on?
I have a quick question. I’m new to both the FJ-400 and the FJ-X2m, so when I connect them X2m is on manual (M) and I cannot switch it to TTL. I know the Canon 7Dmkii has limited TTL With the FJ-400. I have it synched and can trip the light but only in Manual mode. Is there something else I need to do to make TTL work?
I just bought this system. My problem is that the flash kept "popping/firing" before and after I would take a shot. I couldn't change the settings on the strobe from the trigger/sender either. I spent almost 2 hours with the tech and they couldn't find the problem. I shoot with Nikons and we tried all different settings on the camera itself and nothing. We uploaded the new firmware as well. After all that time, they told me they would mail me a new trigger/sender. I had the same problems with both Nikon D850 and the D810, so I don't think it was the cameras. Although when I didn't mount the trigger/sender on the camera, and just tested it while holding it, it didn't keep firing off the flash, only when I mount it to either camera, so I don't know---troubling.
I can connect, but when I use RT and control both the FJ400 and the Canon 600 RT, I can’t control the modeling lamp or the power on the FJ400. Frustrating!!
RT is built for canon's speedlite system. Unfortunately, Canon's RT protocol currently has no modeling lamp option. The current workaround to control the FJ400 modeling lamp remotely is to switch to another camera option on the FJ-x2m trigger and then switch back to Canon RT to take the images. What they didn’t mention is that the firmware on both the remote & light must be the same version. You may need to update one or both before use. Ask me how I know!
@@1slkss currently the re is a v.F1.1.2 and F1.1.3 for the FJ x2m trigger and a v.1.1.0 and a v.1.1.1 for the FJ400. Non match exactly. What should I do. I am having this issue.
Frustrating is that I have godox x pro trigger and 2 tt685f speedlights. Everything working properly. I bought yesterday fj400 and nothing works now. I cannot connect my trigger to the Fj 400....If I now buy this trigger i think 2 of my speedlights doesnt work with this. Why in 21 century everything cannot be compatible with other 2.4g wireless and u cannot connect even with setting id channel and group??Really???
Wish there would be a distributor in Germany. The FJ400 would fit my needs quite well as far as I can say from the misspecification and reviews.

What do we select for Hasseblad H serries camera?
How to do I get the group to show on the fj-x2m
Hi I bought 2 fj-400 and an X2 but I assign a channel to each one and they don't shoot together.
They all need to be on the same channel (e.g. - Channel 1), but in different groups (e.g. - A, B, C, etc.).
I believe you have to set them to two different group settings
Ill take two
Hey Barky, how about 3!?
Yea I too did all this and still nothing
