It is awesome. They really knocked it out of the park with this bike. It’s only shortcoming is the suspension could be better for sport riding, but that’s coming from sport bikes.
I do know that the manual says 4quart for engine refill i out 4.5 and i was right on the cold mark... 5 quart is to much and oil will spill out of the breather bolt..
@Matt-pu7ow mine takes 5 to that mark, and nothing is coming out the intake. On the twin cams, if you got oil out the intake it was the rubber umbrella valve. Not the oil volume. I haven’t dug that far into an M8 yet. 15k on it. So far no oil purge anywhere.
New to HD M8 engines and everyone tells me most of the 5 quts. are in the oil tank. But where is the oil tank? Thanks for the video. HD dealers charge about $350 for the 1st service. Hope I can afford my new LRS. It is fun tho.

@@KnobleMoto I actually put 3.75 qts in my 2022 road king. It's on the low range of the stick but acceptable. I was surprised by 5 qts. in your video. I think 5 qts is its full capacity if it was completely dry. But if you are not seeing problems or have a soaked air filter can't argue with that.
Potentially picking up a lowrider S. How do you like the ST? Looks really good.

The oil tank is under the transmission. It’s technically the same casting.
Same as the baggers and Dynas.
@@KnobleMoto Thank you good man.
@@TrustyZ900 you’re welcome
My first oil change at 1,000 miles was 670 dollars at HD. SMH
@@filichink you can do this yourself, without an special tools for much less.
did you put 5qts in that thing?
Yes I did.
Manual says 4 qts.. i put 4.5 and was right on the cold mark.. puting more will result in oil in your intake
