A concern : the curved end where the hook slips over is very shallow (compared to the much longer open end of a traditional Ronnie clip). The hook eye doesn’t have to move far (or be yanked far) before it can come off the clip. With only thin tubing to prevent it. Could a big head-shaking carp put sufficient strain on the tubing and pull the hook off…. I wonder.
It's only a tad shorter than a lot of the Ronnie swivels on the market and I haven't heard or Found those ever coming off and they have been about for a long time now. Never say never I guess, but they seam ok!
Does anybody know if these klips are up to the task for continental carps (50+ lbs on hook size 4 to 2 or even 1)? I like the idea and concept very much.
Find this so funny I emailed Korda with idea years ago they even sent me some similar components they had to try it out. Then heard nothing and now they’ve brought it out. They’ve denied it was anything to do with my idea but not sure I buy it. I now don’t like the idea anyway but still 😂 funny
Each to there own not for everyone but at 3 quid odd a pack and saving the amount of hooklinks I use and saving me time I'd class that as good value. 👍
Ive started using these. Absolute game changer in my opinion. Superb product.
Definitely going to be a useful bit of kit in the tackle box for sure 👍
Nothing new sp had them out for years
Yea a great little tackle item that i think are excellent good video showing the positives of using them cheers and tightlines

I have lost Fish because of this… when fighting carp it has come Off because the angle the hook makes

Hi mate what chair is that? A Nash moon or a sonik sun chair? How dya rate it
Nash moon chair its the first edition low one and its super comfy but a bit hard to get out of!
@@DiaryOfAnAverageCarpAngler I never get a bite so that won’t matter 😆
What size you using buddy
The medium klip with a size 6 wide gape style hook in those clips
@@DiaryOfAnAverageCarpAngler big thanks 😊
whats the other company style, who makes it
there a are a few similar believe esp but the korda ones are the only ones with the shank shape to imitate a hook eye for knotless knot i believe
Just more metal work that’s not needed like the ronnie rig.
Pointless. More Korda rubbish to part you from your hard earned. 👎

Do you not think its designed to save you money? As in, your not having to make up multiple rigs? Just swap the hook?
Ya better buy the ESP Ronnie clip with Tungsten sleeves
Bank tackle kickers . Cheap as chips
Are the big enough to go over the Klips?
Yes and much cheaper
Just about to say bank tackle kickers. Nice one
