      Hi Dee! Thanks again for watching and your kind comments! Yes, we definitely live in a controlled world, and unless folks start disconnecting from the entities and people who try to control and use them, then the direction of mankind isn't going to change. Luis Capellan Not true, There are property taxes , they are low compared to other countries. But your are not forced to pay them up front. When you sell the property eather the seller or buyer must clear the occumulated taxes that amounted until the sale of the property before closing. Thats a must. I donot like when people mis inform others! People stop making decisions based on hype and emotion or personal preference of others. Talk to an actuall attorney, familiar with the local laws and your individual needs before making decisions, or giving advice to others.

      @@glamorsocial7081 you don’t pay property tax yearly ! I own property and I have never been required to pay yearly taxes for my property! You do pay up front at the moment you purchase the property. In the states you have to pay taxes yearly

      Thanks for watching and commenting! Unfortunately the worlds elite and their controlling governments, have made it part of their sick agenda to encourage hatred and racism in all societies. In Australia, the Aboriginals are made to feel like 2'nd class citizens, in US it's many of the foreigners, in DR it's the Haitians and the same crap happens in most other nations. All good folk needs to wake up to the fact that this nasty Agenda 21, is actually real, it's coming at us all like a poisonous fog and destroying societies, freedoms, respect, health and families globally. Only by keeping in mind who's the main cause of all this crap, can we start turning things around. Brgds Mr.T

      Hi Tony. Many thanks for your compliments!! Yes, ten years ago here, we got a nice rain showers nearly every night, and mostly it was clear blue sky during the day with a nice sunset. Now they have chased the rain away with all their spraying causing droughts, starving livestock and fires. The sky is mostly murky white and grey sky during the day (heavy blur by 5-6pm), followed by a chemical sunset in the evening and stars blocked by this mess. The sun and moon is seen with a big "halo" around them day/night as the light can't get through the chemical layer.
      The planes are crossing the skies constantly here leaving their filthy trails behind them, and it's easy to make a video time laps of how such a chem-trails turns into these stringy/hazy looking clouds which folks delusion themselves to believing are just normal clouds. Chem-trails are also now being placed in all video games and movies to dumb down the masses.
      Yes, we need to awaken the world, and take these bastards down in a way that humanity will remember it forever!
      "Expect no mercy, and have no mercy!"
      Take care! Brgds Mr.T

    The man who lived in the USA for 35 yrs was right on point. He understood the reality many people experience. The social economical impact, in particular the legal system and the private business sector, are certainly a rude awakening for many who had a false opinion of what to expect. The Minority population is growing in the USA and so is the ever increasing prison population of minorities.. Prejudice is ever present and discrimination still exist. The reality is they are stranger in the next mans country. You will be under a microscope...Police, neighbors, boss, family, friends, and enimigos...

    • @EducatedTraveler
      @EducatedTraveler  6 лет назад +5

      Hi there and thanks for watching! What both these Gentlemen do agree on, is that the Dominican Government and a few wealthy families here, control everything and with their corrupt actions, and they continue to destroy the DR economy. This drives a lot of folks to try their luck overseas. But just like with the expats coming here, it's the same with the Dominicans that head off elsewhere, they all have different goals as to what they hope to find or establish once they get there. When talking to these guys both on and off camera, Oscar was looking for a great career and lots of success, and to Cesar, getting education, a decent salary and healthcare seemed more important. They both have good hearts, yet just different life priorities. Brgds Mr.T

      Thanks Kenny. In a perfect world yes. However in this sick market place where selling enough advertising to make it worth producing each video, is like extracting fresh teeth out of a face! then I can hardly fund making these videos. So taking the extra time and money to create Spanish translations, just didn't fit in neither my schedule or budget. I heard that in the DR there are also discrimination against dark skinned people. Is this true? I’m from Jamaica but have been living in the USA for 30 years and would love to move to the DR, I’m light skinned and was told that I would survive there, but my husband who is very dark skinned would not. Yes, but I totally agree that racism is rampant here in the USA.

    well boy do i have a mouth full to say!! i watched the entire video, and thanks for taking the time to share. i will try not to talk a lot about nothing but just say some key points: i am 41 years old, i live in NYC, all my life. i have been to DR 17 times and will be there again come Sept. 2018, First time to Sosua. so.. very quickly, 1. the chem trails there are overly excessive, yes overly indeed ! every photograph i take has 3-4 chem trail lines in the sky. they spray over DR twice the amount than here in the US. 2. I appreciated Carlos Alvarez opinion, because yes Dominicans think the US is a free ticket to paradise, and when they come here, they keep that mentality, and it soon changes when they understand that freedom always has a price. The US and All other established countries ask for one thing in return for your residence..two things...1 is SERVICE and 2. CONTRIBUTION. non developing Dominicans do not account for either here. they think its all about money and opportunity. and any way to get it faster. They work here, and send money back, they do not leave a legacy, they rarely contribute to the economy of the US. but there are a good amount of dominican, the ones that come here and stay here, have a plan, and they follow the plan, they go to school, and they work and they pay taxes, and in exchange, they are given the opportunities as everyone else. and then they try to bring their whole family here for all the hard work lol. Dominican Republic is a relatively poor country, and you would think that the vast amount of money brought into DR from tourism alone, they would show some gratitude. they have a horrible government system, and they are so enveloped in sustaining their old, old, traditional culture, their old, old, roots, and the officials just want money at their own peoples expense. And foreigners who give the country money are treated worse. I have visited Cuba and have felt more welcomed than in DR. In DR, almost Everyone has a scheme, just because we're Americans and we have it better. Cuba has more appreciation for Americans and tourism. they make a visit pleasing and non threatening, and i can walk around with my $3000 camera and not worry about it getting stolen. 3.Oscar ( interviewed ) obviously is never satisfied. he didnt like it here, he sounds like he doesnt like it there either, and for him to talk about his own government publicly, and own a business there, he has to be paying someone off.He is the exact type of opportunist that i dread doing business with. Most of the other people interviewed here...well just from their own admission, they just weren't the resilient type to stand up to pressure to live in an advanced society ( basically lazy ). SO the ones that do go back to DR, well its because it is were they "should" belong. If you cant survive in an advanced country, learn to adapt, and CONTRIBUTE!, well no country would have any place for you. thanks for the video, i will share this with a lot of people. you should re-post this video and have it translated in Spanish, meaning upload the same video again with Spanish subtitles ( give some hard working bilingual there a job! ) . this would be a triple fold of education and knowledge for Dominicans here and there. i want to show this to my girlfriend in cabarete so she can understand that just because she has a nice booty and no education does not mean she will be happy coming here.

      BODYSNATCHA Well you said it all my friend! 100% agree with all you said, especially the part about the girlfriend thinking that coming here will solve all her issues. I'm in a similar boat, and would love to see him upload it again with Spanish captions, because many Dom. That are local need to hear this from their own. I have tried to convey what is presented on this video and I'm told: Tu no sabes lo que dices! I live in the States and have been grinding for 30+ years to earn my keep, but all they see is me being able to afford a plane tkt and fly to the island, so I must be rich by their standards😂 not true. The only thing I do not agree with is the statement: DR is a poor country. I think a better assesment would be impoverished country. The D.R. has more than enough economic resources to improve itself, but the goverment vampires have sucked the life blood out of that place, and let's not forget that by keeping the folks uneducated, makes them easier to control! Great example Donald Trump when he said: We love the uneducated! The rest is history.

      I am not totally agree with you, for me is a little rare to hear people feeling bad about the treatment they receive in DR, I work in the tourism area here and I won't tell you I have not heard people feeling bad about the service or something else of course yes, but mostly are nice feedback, so the fact you are the one who have received bad service from Dominicans doesn't mean it is like that... I am sorry about your experience and I hope you can change you mind in your next travel to DR... I can tell you as well mostly Dominicans are so thankful for all tourist to decide to come our country, we love tourist.. I don't know if I expressed my self well but you know English is not my first language I hope you understand..

    •  5 лет назад

      BODYSNATCHA no, no no, let me tell you mostly Dominicans complain always about everything but mainly our government cuz we know they can do it better, when tourist ask me about my country I tell them what it is, we have bad government, employer don't pay well, we have delinquency etc, mostly the bad things cuz they just stay inside the hotel and enjoying the Paradise, I say them the truth cuz I don't do anything saying lies.. Even the hotel make the tourist to sign if they want to go out, c'mon brother tourists know that before come here that can be dangerous, is that something knew? and now I know Dominicans hate Cubans 😂😂, that is totally false, even the haitians who we have a truly bad history we still don't hate them, of course I have visited many countries, but I think Dominicans don't have to travel to know we have to change many things, that is nice in Cuba there is not thieves, unlucky we have too many here.. I have noticed you have a predisposed attitude against Dominicans, again I hope in your next travel to DR you can have better experience.

    How would you compare the DR versus Medellin, Colombia??

    • @EducatedTraveler
      @EducatedTraveler  5 лет назад +3

      Hi Hector and thanks for watching! I've been to Bogata, but not Medellin. I hear only good things about Medallin. In Bogata people seemed very nice and educated, and the service was light-years ahead of DR. In general, the DR Economy sucks, but here we wake up almost daily to blue skies, nice beaches and mostly friendly people, so it's a bit of a trade off as to what one prioritizes the most. Brgds Mr.T

    It really sounded like they don’t like following rules. They kept saying over here is alot more free, meaning you can break the law and not get into trouble.

    • @EducatedTraveler

      OK, thanks. From my experience, even if folks abide to all Dominican laws, then I can think of lists of additional senseless and greedy laws overseas resulting in life and business interruption and fines for tons of petty crap, that one has to try to live with in most of the highly regulated countries (and there is no "opt out option"), so what my Dominican friends in the video are pointing out, is that here the "returning nationals" regain a ton of privacy and freedoms again, even if they never break any DR laws, simply because of the differences in how these societies are structured.

    That was funny listening to a Dominican telling people how racist America is. But doesnt talk about the race relations it has with hatians. We Americans do have problems with race relations but not like dr. When I was in sosua I never seen nothing like it the police came around with a pattie wagon round anyone with dark skin at nite.

      Hi Ant, and thanks for watching and commenting! Unfortunately Governments globally are fueling hatred and animosity as part of their "Agenda 21". When it comes to the Haitians here, the hunting of the Haitians account for almost 95% of what they focus on, the other 5% is on arresting girls, most to be released again against a bribe payment. What we see here is not law enforcement, but instead law abuse. Until the corruption is crushed, nothing will change anytime soon.

      I agree with u 100 percent mr. t governments worldwide are corrupt. But government will never change in less the people change. It seem like in dr the people try to esort much money out of people that they can not just gringos then smile in ur face.

Because they didn’t want to be rule by blacks they thought they were white and also Dominicans are the new race

      @@ypoli9291 lol you a clown first of all the dr never beat Haiti in battle field that was lie and second the only reason you guys got that half of the island is because of the USA and the French and the Spaniard gang on Haiti. And also the USA set Haiti up for not to go to anymore wars and make Haiti sell all her weapons to the dr. You guys try many times to go to war against us we beat you guys but many times if you guys were so powerful we wouldn’t run you guys for 22 years. And matter of fact Dominicans ain’t even running their own country you guys can’t do anything without the USA, French, and Spain. And also Haiti is also control the dr without you guys even know it.

    The one guys comments about Americans not treating Latins the same or not getting jobs over American born, is not accurate at all. That's like saying never mind, it is not true, most are treated well and respected.
