+rojas366 Steven Tyler is good but he has his own style. There's nobody like Mick. Has anybody seen Mick Jagger on the Jimmy Fallon show? Where they do a skit of Mick talking to himself in a mirror. It's so funny. You will end up shouting "pointing fingers, I'm pointing ma fingers nah." Look up Mick and Mick Jimmy Fallon.

He invented his own style many many years ago, he creates his own moves and moves as he pleases and takes the whole stage. Nobody can tell him he's dancing wrong because that's his style. That's a rock star with total control and freedom with his body. It's not all the choreographed crap everybody tries to dance in today's movies just intented to impress a viewer. That's the difference. Jagger does whatever he wants instead of making stupid poses, I mean dance moves, to please an audience.

Just had a drunken conversation with my old man when he exclaimed that he preferred the Stones to the Beatles, because "Jagger was the man". My Dad lived through the 60's in London and my entire life has been spent communicating entirely through the medium of sports. Tonight was a major breakthrough, just with that one sentence I learnt a lot about him...

s99bf0c8 your dad’s right. I grew up the 60’s. There were two camps... those who preferred the Beatles, which were called ‘bubble gum’ style, and the Stones. I preferred the Stones. Two different kinds of rock. The Doors were in the Stones type rock. Monkeys in the bubble gum. Later the Beatles sort of evolved.

Nobody else can dance quite like Mick, because it's not about his 'moves', but how he personally feels the music; his own personality channelled through his own unique muscles and bones. He was influenced by James Brown early in his career, but he has created his own style, which continues to evolve. Also, although he does have 'moves', how he puts it all together is completely improvised, so no-one else is going to create the same impression.

      Ah ...Still remembering
      my Teenage Wildlife....
I saw both Queen & the Stones in concert in the 70's.
Not to dismiss Queen because they were amazing.
But much like when i saw Zeppelin in the same era ~
the Rolling Stones were on another level. ( imo 😉 )

This is my first time watching Mick Jagger dance and wow... I thought my dancing was silly and ridiculous. Never thought I'd find a kindred spirit. If I can dance like him and he's loved for it, then dang, look out world!

  • @cosmicmauve

What he does is undefinable. It's not so much dancing as it is just raw expression hyped to the power of 10 ! A comedian attempting to do an imitation said he "looked like a chicken on acid", that was pretty close. In any event his energy is beautiful to watch. And no one "struts" like Jagger!

    • @emilimilina762

Nobody moves like Jagger this guy is unique and he free style dance excellent. That's call unique and everybody looking to go for dance classes, I don't think Jagger ever went to a Dance Class like most singers now days they do it. Anybody can dance but you want to dance someone else dance learn and find your own dance moves that's what Jagger is doing now showing his Dance Moves.. Bravo!!!

There is no such thing as "can't dance" if you are moving your body and music is playing then your dancing. Forget what other people think bout you.
