Giiirl, thank you for keeping it real!😂❤ There are times it feels like I do so much work for free it makes me question if I'm doing things "correctly". It's just our industry! Thank you for sharing the realities of auditioning, meetings and preparation being really the main part of what we do.
Yup, this is the reality of non-union acting. 😭 Gotta get my SAG-AFTRA card ASAP. Auditioning and memorizing will never be a paid thing though.

Belgica I have a question about how I can get an agent. My city lacks an agency and there's a specific tv show I want to go for. I'm stressing about how I can get one because I'm only 17 and I'm not sure if my parents would let me try out. Is it a good idea to maybe ask my acting school to get me hooked up with one virtually?
Hi 😊 I started acting after I was 18, so I don't know the exact process for minors. But what I can say, is you need to involve your parents every step of the way. When you meet with agents, when you book a job, etc. If there is a specific show, follow the filmmakers on socials, watch their shows, and see what casting offices they use often so that you can let your future agents know who you are interested in working with. But take your time, acting is a marathon... a really long one. To apply to agencies, you can usually do it online, but most want you live locally to wherever they are representing. I have a few videos on this with more info. 😊
Enjoy your life and be careful with scammers or people trying to take advantage of your drive and passion.

I'm not sure 🤔 I haven't seen them. But I'm sure if you post in one of the acting/filmmaker groups that you're looking for people to provide feedback, then some can volunteer 😊 I also know there are some acting subreddits that may be more open to that. Have you looked there?
