Nobody corrected it yet. Ettore is pronounced Et-tore-A .. Great content! Most pressure washers i know avoid window cleaning because they either say it wont pay $150/hr or claim their house wash cleaned the windows. As you said though its can be quick and simple to add after a house wash. Window screen cleaning is the next simple add on.
You would have gotten a .00 tds reading if you would have rinsed the meter cup with the filtered water 1 or 2 quick times. You already know this, Im mainly assuring viewers that the tds results could have been better if you really wanted to emphasize that but like you said
Austin us badd ass good dude I'm getting into pressure washing and watching his videos is super cool he has alot of knowledge and super professional..he definitely helped me understand alot about the industry which is really nice of him..good luck hopefully your business expand tremendously and you have success
Great vid Austin. Very helpful. Kind of off topic question, where do you get your shirts made? Is there a good online company you can recommend, or do you order yours from a local business?
I’m getting ready to bid 250 windows as an add-on to a post-construction cleanup on a 1 story apartment complex. I hope I land it, because it essentially doubles the billing on a job site I’m already at. I’m going to order the supplies from WCR, but I don’t have a water filtration system yet. Can I use distilled water until I can get a DI or RO filter system?
When you come across this again can you make a video about how you remove calcium from brick or concrete by a pool. I had such an issue with it this weekend and couldn't get it done right.
Thank you for your videos, they've been really helpful as I just started my business a couple months ago. I just got my first commercial client with 20 some odd locations! I am wondering since there's a lit of driving between sites, is it customary to charge for transportation or just for coming out to a site? I charge by the window pane and not hourly. Thanks!
I would not add drive time as a line item in the bid. I would instead just build it into your estimate. If you charge $13 per window, for example, charge $14. Up to you.
Do you charge more for large picture windows? And would it be out of line to ask the customer to remove all screens prior to your arrival so you don’t risk damaging them?
your squeegee lines are overlapping a bunch. always try to minimize running squeegee over dry window as much as possible as this will round your rubber edges like 10x faster. resulting in steaks left behind. just s tip but then again I've only been doing windows for 4 months now so if I am wrong , tell me why
I’m trying to start my business up out here in Hawaii! But idk what kind of chemicals and what not to use for anything I just bought a new pressure washer and that’s it pretty much broke now! Any tips to help me out? Such as equipment and what not? Would be sick Thanks
Start watching RUclips videos!!! Window cleaning is cheap to get into and easy to get clients. I would start there and small pressure washing jobs. Don’t worry about all the chemicals for now
@@AustinDavis24 yeah I wanna try get into the soft washing cause how easy it looks just spray wait and then wash off but idk how I been trying to watch videos but they don’t really show how to actually put the chemicals together or actually show what kind of equipment to use or all that.
Austin - How are you capturing your audio in this video. You clearly have the camera on a monopod, but what about audio? - Klein Pressure Washing - Houston
I generally direct the customer to remove the screens. It is so easy to damage one or more screens at a house. I have great insurance but I don't want to have to use it.
you did about 50% of the windows because u disregarded the ones with the screens? i’m confused just wanna know how u go about that because screens are easy to damage and really annoying to work with
@AustinDavis24 Look into the S technique. Much more efficient way to use your squeegee... i use your technique when i use an extension pole, its better than straight pulls. But the S technique is the way on glass you can reach.
Worked for a window cleaning company for 9 months or so. Its refreshing to see the exact same equipment used in this video
Thats awesome!
@@AustinDavis24 Do you get paid in cash and/or square/stripe, etc.?
@SenorJuan2023 stripe!

Awesome video! I would definitely recommend you get the Ettore side holster. It makes it so much easier to hold towels/steel wool.
Love your videos. Window cleaning techniques are so different in the U.K. especially trad cleaning.
Your channel is a Godsend!
What about the screens if they come off from the inside do you take them off or the customer
First time cleaningis always done traditionally. Water fed pole only for maintenance cleaning

Great video sir! Lots of great info!!
Thanks! Would love to have y’all as a sponsor.
Great video. Thank you. So it's 10 to 12 bucks per window even if you don't do the inside?
It’s $10-$12 per window exterior. I charge $20 per window for interior and exterior.
@@AustinDavis24 thank you!!
Great video, however I would practice fanning more and pull the screens, you are only cleaning half the window.
Thank you for information, keep sharing!!! Love it!
What kind of filters do you use, can you make a video on the setup or share what products on the water filtering you use ? thank you
Another Life Lesson from yours truly Austin Davis lol Thanks Bro
Hi Austin!! Greetings from NY!! WHERE ARE YOU FROM?? QUESTION I LOVE YOU UNIFORM. SO NICE!! WHERE I CAN GET THIS T SHIRTS!L??

That is called Efflorescence and its tough to get rid of. Some use media blasting (fastest), but most use Efflo Remover.
the best for efflorence is spry it with strong vinegar, and problem fixed
great video. FYI. Your mic volume went way down during the part when you were at the window.
Yea my bad.
I wish I just did window cleaning looking back. Where do you keep your equipment on that skid?? Mine takes up all the space on my truck.
Yea it gets pretty tight!! Back seat usually for window crap
So how do you price out a bank of like 8’ 4 panel sliders? Florida has sliders on almost every home 😊. Have a great day
Usually big windows I will count as two
So how would you price interior and exterior windows?
How do you remove sealant stains from when the pavers were stripped there was a lot of residue left on windows?
Great video Austin
Glad you enjoyed it
what about the water fed pole system and supplies?, which one do you use or recommend?

I never have issues with it. If I see lines. Simple whip with the towel and it’s off. Pretty small window too

Where do you order your company shirts (the one you’re wearing in the video)?
@@tiltonR2 Finprint!
When you do outside windows do you remove screen?
how do you go about screens?
Prounced Ettor-ayy
Obviously, you do windows after power washing the house, correct?
Always
Was that $10-$12 per window for exterior only and did it include screen cleaning?
Is that only outside windows for $225??? Or that includes inside for $225??
How big of a truck do you need
Where’d you get those shirts printed?
Finprint!
Do you just wash your towels in washing machines, or how do you clean them?
Yes. We throw them in the washing machine.
Your best bet is to wash your rags and towels in a dye free/fragrance free laundry detergent.
How do you get the clean water ? What do I need to buy?
If you want to get a water fed pole set up, you can use the link in the description and buy one from them
But how do you get the clean water with less particles like you showed?
you hirin?
When you fill your bucket, you use ionized water, correct?
Do you get asked to remove screens? If so what's the charge for that?

How much for cleaning the screens

This was a dummy house. one of my neighbors. I asked him if I could do some work on his property that way I could film some training videos.
@@AustinDavis24 awesome! so do you use a special tool or just ask the homeowners to remove them prior?
Hey bro, does that remove water marks as well?
Usually not but One Restore will. WCR sells that also
How do I contact your marketing guy?

do you just get one size of mop/ scrubber?
I would get a few different sizes

Are “Waterford pole” universal for all windows? 🪟
