I learned this form/way to use 보이다 a while ago, but I was never taught and have never used it with an action verb + 것 같다. Surprisingly informative and helpful lesson that I didn’t think I needed. Thank you, Billy!

For English speaker, the passive form is difficult? One of my English speaking students doesn't understand the passive form even though other students understand very well. She said English speakers don't have any feeling about it 🥲 Is it for real?

There is definitely a passive form in English. Sadly, if you didn't pay attention in class, you don't know it. I'm American and I had strong grammar training in school so, yes, I know passive absolutely exists in English.

English speakers use passive form all the time. Maybe they just don’t realize that’s what it’s called. Passive voice is easier to use in English because you usually just use the same verb. In Korean you have to learn a new passive verb (though it’s usually similar to the active equivalent). I like Billy’s video about passive verbs: ruclips.net/video/aht-KkzsNbM/видео.html
