I remember a friend in high school introducing me to animé such as Tenchi Muyo, Ranma, Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon only that in middle school I was already watching Sailor Moon & Dragon Ball. It was when Toonami came along did I get a fuller dose of Sailor Moon and was introduced Dragon Ball Z. As far as I gotten to watch the Dragon Ball Z saga was between the Cell & Freesa sagas but never finished Freesa saga. My friend however got me this cassette recording of this song in English but after finding this version in Japanese, boy what a treat. It’s like getting to listen to Nena’s 99 Red Balloons in both English & German.

Pioneer, which is a Japanese company, produced the entire series. It was the first anime they released. They also had a music business.
