- Today we get to check out the new Ride 4 game by Milestone. This is a quick review of Ride 4 that focuses mostly on the Supermoto side of the game. I chose to review Ride 4 this way because we mostly show motocross and supercross games on the channel. I don't mention the graphics editor because that is a separate video scheduled for later. Born and raise in Italy and I was hoping to see more supermoto bikes and more supermoto tracks with dirt sections, like ride 3.
The game is fun and great but if you want to enjoy supermoto you have to use ride 3.
There is so many amazing tracks in Italy and Europe in general, especially France.

Yes ride 3 had amazing supermoto support and they just scrapped it with this game, That was a big thing i wanted for to be in ride 4 was more maps, more bikes and better physics and graphics. But no scrap every physics component and upgrade the graphics only xD Sucks with such a huge missed opportunity!
Ride 2 is way better for Supermoto....you can drift and wheelie the shhhh out the bike. Ride 3 you can just a little drift
Why can't they make 2 stroke supermotos... this is the 4th ride and still none of them... Animation in shifting, clutching, braking is still garbage... wow just wow...
I dont know. I think its a solid game, I just didnt care for the supermoto part of it. I know its a very small part, but for the content on this channel, its the part that I think matters most.

@@tonemiester Well I never had such an issue and in any case it's alwayq nice to have the diversity in options. 4 stroke 1 cylinder is awesome but so is 2 stroke.
I really love all the bikes in Ride but the supermoto part is what got me into buying Ride 2 back then. This was the first time we got something big for supermoto and I'm so sad they didn't make more out of it... I'd love if they would make it a really big part of the game because it brings sooo much diversion into it. Let's be real, all the other bikes are basically just "fast race" bikes. (even though some of the old ones are not very fast :D)

The front wheel is huge wtf? That ain’t right. The supermoto part looks super weak compared to previous titles. Street bikes etc look good though.
stickvortex my YZ 125 front rim is 21 and the rear is 19. All bikes I know have a bigger front wheel

@@japawaiian Yeah I know how bikes and dirtbikes work mate hahah I have a couple bikes myself. Look up “supermoto” and their wheel size and compare it to how the game looks. The game uses Mx wheel sizes instead of supermoto sized ones which looks real dumb and isn’t accurate. Supermoto wheels are like 17s if I’m not mistaken (maybe I am and they are 18 or something similar but not 19 and 21 anyway). Either way they are not as big at all as in the game.
This game is perfect for Xbox Game Pass, I'm not going to buy it 💚
Game Pass is awesome. For sure worth playing and buying, especially for the rest of the bikes in the game. Just the Supermoto part was disappointing.

Ride 2 was the best in physics tbh. The bikes felt real with weight and wheelies and stoppies felt good. Backing in and power drifting too

I just got ride4, and going from playing the original ride, where is the traction control and wheelie control. I can’t seem to turn them off. I absolutely can’t stand the fact that it hold a wheelie and doesn’t loop out. I wanna feel like I’m riding a powerful bike, not being guided by it.

I bought it cuz I was intrigued and FINALLY learned how to play a modern motorcycle game. Always crashed on previous attempts. Is rife 3 good?
Yes ride 3 is amazing only thing is, There are about 30 maps with maybe 5 of them being supermoto and the bikes are very understeery so very hard to be good at it.

Solid fun game. My only gripe is the AI. They crash into you too much.

my opinion is this game should have an open world and race part cuz the game has good bike physics and there should be Motocross (Enduro) bikes and 2 Stroke supermotos (2stroke bikes generally)

So I have a problem whenever I chose a supermoto bike either on race or time trial. There's no freaking HUD to see the speed or which gear I'm in. This is so annoying.
What's crazy is the ia on easy will full send it into your back wheel

Needs more bikes. Much more. Just that.
They have a lot of DLCs coming up. Ride 3 was the same. Didn't have much content on release but DLCs kept coming.
@@xXturbo86Xx still not fair to charge the buyers for the bikes they paid for already in the previous game. Gt didnt do that. I was eagerly waiting for launch day to get it, just to be dissapointed. Skipped buy.

with no supermoto tracks include the dirt part its just not enough.
They overhauled the tracks and the tracks look different but ALOT of bikes and tracks are gone, the REAL endurance bikes are gone, it looks like they took out the supermoto tracks, the career sucks, the license part of the game sucks, the time attack when you go off track limits sucks when it starts you over. I could go on alday about how disappointed I am in this game. They did overhaul the tracks like I said which is cool but take that away and ride 3 was a better set up and on top of all that the AI are constantly in your way taking you out. The MotoGP neural AI didnt get transferred over to this game which is a shame.
Don’t think I’ll buy this you know cuz I might get mxgp 2020 or riders republic I have ride 3 so that’s enough for me and no dislikes just as it should be
Yeah, MXGP 2020 would be something I would prefer as well. That being said, the entire game of RIDE 4 is pretty awesome. Just not the Supermoto part.

When I use a supermoto and I take a turn my rider won't put his leg down to take a better turn, does anyone know why is this happening?

I mean the video is made for this particular channel. Supermoto is a small part of this game, but its the part that I personally enjoy the most. Its also not a full review. Im sure there will be full in depth reviews of all bike types from people that would be more qualified to do that kind of review than myself. Sorry to disappoint you.

Not even close. Go watch comparison videos and you'll see. It's a big improvement over Ride 3.
I think they're adding more stuff like maps in the full game but idk
I know they usually have a lineup of DLC. Maybe it could come later, but this is the full game.

I wish that Ride would put in free roam like Forza Horizon. God that would be amazing. Or Ride release a game like Horizon. Free ride, full customization, granted the customization is already great, but there are a few things I would change. Honestly, I love the ride franchise but we need a free ride, like they did it in Isle of Mann 2. And add in true motocross and supercross. Just like an overall all bikes, MX, SX, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Harley’s, NoS, even drifting and FMX or Stunting, but that’s a little too ambitious huh? Lmao 😂🤣

I played all the tracks and didn't see any Supermoto track like we had in Ride 2 and 3.

Don't look to a streetbike game for dirtbike/supermoto loyalty or accuracy. Get MX Bikes for that combo. Supermoto is the best part of MXB.
Ride 2 has amazing supermoto. Completely different physics.

Yeah and that they can never get them right with steering and feel, In this day and age with have millions of motorcyles to study so how do they get them wrong? Sucks especially with the supermotos.
I wanted this game just for the supermoto part and was disappointed. The looks and feel of the bikes are not good.

The supermoto look weird. For one the front brake rotor was doubled up and the front wheel was normal mx size not supermoto size

Disappointing. Anyone who has ridden supermoto on street or track knows they are about as fun as bikes get. To treat them like this is a disservice. For shame milestone, for shame. lol
TBH this game should have dirt bikes and a few off road (test) tracks. There's a bmw GS but nowhere fun to show off how good it's off road capability really is. I thought this game was supposed to be a celebration of bikes, but it's still a way off from my ideas of that. I hope it doesn't lose it's way. So much more they can do.

How to wheeliw
I have been playing Ride 4 since it released last night on the XboxOneX and having played all the Ride series and MotoGP 17 to 19, completed all of them fully to the end in career modes I can honestly say Ride 4 is literally the worst amongst all previous titles no matter what others may say.
It is said that the AI is improved but hell no, if not even worse, the AI will just make you fall whether they are behind or infront of you, a small touch and you are gone. No improvements over the previous titles besides loading times, tire wear, fuel and variable changing weather mechanics. The given racing line is a joke as previous titles so never use it as usual. Riding style customization is gone with only 2 options given, so no more custom Rossi style animations. You still have the same halfway limited unrealistic arcade wheelies but better stoppies. Tracks, bikes are all the same if not even less, supermoto tracks are now removed.. BGM sucks as usual. Grinding cash for unlocking big bikes in early gameplay by only doing chill/relaxed time trial runs is no longer an option since it gives you little to nothing compared to the insanely very expensive bike prices. Gearbox, chain and suspension upgrades no longer change your stats or increase your Performance Index Points..
I am literally done giving Milestone hard earned cash for good. If you haven't played these games or so called sims before and willing to give it a try, save some bucks and get ride 2 or 3 since they are much better than this crap.
Long story short there is no reason at all to buy this game for a sane person if you own any of previous Ride titles or have even never owned. It's literally crap💩

@@leolata_3228 ride 3 better graphics 60fps on consoles. For physics it's a divided preference, some like ride 2 and some do prefer ride 3 as I do too. Ride 3 is the solid and more polished one to go with.

@@leolata_3228 Ride 4 is the best. Don't believe anybody who will tell you otherwise. Only morons like Ride 3 more than Ride 4. In terms of Supermoto, Ride 2 is better, but on everything else Ride 4 is far superior.

This is extremly dissapointing with supermotos being such a HUGE group of people irl, I loved the sumos in ride 3 and hoped for upped physics with drifting and even more sumos to choose from so this is EXTREMLY dissapointing and a very big missed oppertunity in my opinion. Sucks to see that they still think about just making money in this game instead of listening to the community.

They will add supermoto tracks as paid dlc cause its milestone, the game is honestly not worth the money I was really excited for the game and bought the ultimate edition and wish I never bothered cause its a horrendous mess of a game

Its an amzing game. Bravo Milestone and Unreal engine. I will say the one of thebest racing games ever including the big car titles like Forza, Gran tourismo. The looks totally amazing, like next gen. I am on X box one x It is maybe the best looking game i have. The game, and whats waiting ahead. You have clearly not checked the game yet:)) It is the best looking racing game out there including the big car titles. Looks totally like next gen!! The AI and racing super - when you checked and tested the setup possibilities, which the revievew not did. This is NOT a supermoto game. About all the others:) It is totally realistic both in driving and feeling of being there
I did mention several times that I thought it was worth purchasing for everything else in the game. This was a Supermoto specific review since that is more geared towards what is on this channel. Whether the game is mostly about other bikes and experiences and not Supermoto doesnt really matter to me. They have done Supermoto much better in the past. Why go backwards with it now? Its still an excellent game, people are assuming I dont like it, which I stated isnt true. If they didnt want to put any effort into the Supermoto, then dont even bother with putting it in the game.
