- Ive had a chance to play RIDE 3 a decent amount over the last 5 days and felt that I had been able to explore what the game had to offer. I wanted to put a Ride 3 review out for anyone here that was still on the fence on whether or not they wanted to buy it. Showing what you would be getting for paying the 50 dollar price tag. I wanted to keep it under 20 minutes but found it hard to make it much shorter without having to cut corners on showing the entire game. Thanks for the awesome support on the Ride 3 series over the last week. Probably will head back to regular uploads of motocross and supercross games but still throw in some Ride 3 occasionally. LIVERY EDITOR
Choose your favourite bike and make it unique, just like your style. Create your livery from scratch, choose a background colour and an endless amount of 2D shapes, designs and effects. Work on various levels to create infinite compositions and find the aesthetic which works for you. Riding a bike is great. Riding a bike which you've created yourself is fantastic. Seeing other riders and players from all over the world racing in your livery is simply the best!
CAREER
The new career will be a Single Player experience which has never been seen before. Forget the old linear progression: the new Volumes-based system will allow you to collect, read and participate in races and competitions through more than 50 magazines. Each one will catapult you into a unique game experience, made up of competitions and anecdotes about the motorcycling world, which will improve your experience in RIDE 3.

I’ve been saying it for years. Forza horizon has made a fortune with their free roam games. We really need a free roam motorcycle game. The crew attempted it with bikes added but the physics and sounds in the crew aren’t the greatest. Please make a free roam game for motorcycles strictly
Make it free roam, make it multiplayer, make the traffic feel realistic, have free roam races and add police that chase you if you speed / break the law. The crew was kind of fun but it gets boring fast. Basically make a realistic open world road rash lol.
free roam driving games are too arcadey, this is a different genre
@@madman4286 pop the physics of ride 3 on to a free roam map so it doesnt feel as arcadey. would be awsome razzing past cars with that sorta physics
@@pfistor Traffic more realistic eh? So basically everyone in a sports car tries to race you at a red light, and you get cut off by left turners.
@@xBlackRaiderx Lol dont forget trucks dragging trailers turning in front of you from the middle lane and coming to a full stop. So yes exactly, and also narrower lanes than gta 5, and traffic that does interesting stuff. Like dumb stuff and traffic jams and accidents and etc. Keep it interesting.
My dude...if you do a 20 min review video of a racing game and don't mention physics, controls or handling, you're most definitely doing it wrong.
Ride 3 seems to be more an arkade racer, than a realistic racing simulator like MotoGP.
@@anderslarsen1321 Ironically, to me it feels like Ride 3 has a more realistic handling model than any MotoGP game, most of which have been developed by Milestone for the past several years.

Will Longden more to street tracks options for those who longed to ride in isle of man or macau gp for example, they get the chance to try it out in this game. For physics difference is much more subtle as in ride 3 multiple collisions won’t cause you to crash if done right.
The next step for this game would be free roam. That with dirt areas with dirt bikes and dial sport bikes in free roam would be awesome with the way this game handles. They would sell a lot more copies if they did that. They could do it the way forza does with their games
If it stays a sim. style game....
That would be awesome wish they would add Isle of man as well would be amazing cos the TT Isle man game physics are rubbish

The headlight is like in a car racing game. The light should change with lean angle.
When I ride my real life FZ09 I love flying through the air behind and looking down at it, it makes me fell like a console gamer. Such immersion.
Right? I've never once ridden my bike from 20' behind it.
First person, open world, cruising through roads in the mountains, forests, coastal highways, cities, on a bike that actually sounds like a real bike and not a weed whacker. Oh, and how about a bike that handles like an actual one instead of an arcade game.
Is it too much to ask for?

The trouble with the livery editor is some bikes don’t allow you to put layers on certain painted areas. For instance with the Honda blackbird you can only cover part of the front mudguard not all of it and same goes for the tank despite stretching the layers. There is no way to move the layer to cover the area. Get the blackbird and try adding layers. This is not the only bike I’ve tried this with and had the same issues. For this reason I’ve given up on the livery editor. It’s a joke.
My Game is Crashing in 5 of 6 Cases if i End Races (Win and over or end in middle it doesn't matter) Do someone knows why?

Sweet mother.. last racing I played was forza on the xb360 4/5 years ago. Before that tourist trophy, gran turismo on the ps2. I've been outta the scene for a bit.. just bought a ps4 for my son yesterday. I need this game in my life. Great review!

Loving ride 3 great track line-up and the Ulster gp track is quality, having the option to go for frame rate or resolution on the one x is nice as well.
How you can do all this on ride 3 but can’t customize nothing on ride 4

"Normal" physics are better than ride2, but as soon as you are going into the "extreme" regions (trying to power-drift; or to slide into corners, as in supermoto) then the new engine is worse than ride2's

ride 3 does so much right! nice road coarses, bikes dont cost an arm and a leg, easy to change bike liveries, more bikes, the list goes on and on

I have to get this. It really seems like the Forza/Gran Turismo of motorcycles, and it has my bike in it (2002 Honda 919) which is quite rare. I never thought I'd see it in a game.

Lol. I'm actually using that design specific Shoi helmet irl! It's awesome.! Nice choice! Shoei RF-1200 Inception for the win. 🤪 And actually had same Dainese suit, just in 2pc and black instead of white. But fun factor, I rode in same outfit irl on my mt07 Moto cage. . 😜

if you had to compare the bike handling to motogp 17/18 how would you rate it??plus does riding feel like arcade style or simulation style??

For me I had to upload it online, then I could select it to copy it to the bike I wanted to use. Maybe there was another way, but that is how I did it.

Is there any bike racing games that are actually fun to play without having to know everything about bikes and the perfect settings and all that technical knowledge? I don’t wanna have to research and study a bunch of info just to play a game. I do enough work at my job.
also if you wanna farm credits, play the career until you unlock the endurance races, one of those netted me 250K credits in a single 20lap race. granted that took me about half an hour but it's a quarter of a million credits...

I remember I used to look online to see who had fastest times on nurburgring circuit, for a while the fastest time I could find was 6min 59sec and I was shocked as my best time around the circuit was 7:48 on the trickstar zx10r and that was with one mistake.. I could never get a perfect lap I always made one mistake and it drove me crazy

Polyphony Tourist Trophy was very exciting at the time because the graphics was ahead of all other bike games and it was the first ever game that allowed you to compare the performance of bikes you can actually buy...and that was more then enough to blind everyone to the fact that it was nothing more then a motorcycle test ride simulator. You had to stay with-in ninty percent of the bike's limits (as you do on a real life test ride) to avoid the horrid car-like instability in the game. In my opinion, Ride 3 is better and if you re-play Polyphony TT now, you will agree

Drag racing, but they haven't included the big muscle bikes like the Hayabusa or zx14. I feel the Suzuki line is incomplete without the 'busa or SV650, two of their most iconic bikes.

No (Ride 3, if anyone in the future is confused and Ride 4 has it).
In multiplayer does this game display lap times of every rider at the end of a race. It doesn’t in Ride 2 which disappoints, baffles and saddens me 🙁
Hi there can you get Harley brand or cruiser bikes as well. The customization is average, I doubt you can put a 20inch tyres on the rear and add drag racing chassis for customization. Also Ive seen in real life people swapping sport bike engines into cruisers etc. OMG I wanna ride a Rocket 3 on this game haha. I hope Honda crf 250 cc is on there hehe
I noticed the same thing in supermoto of Ride 2. It seemed so much more difficult than other types of races it was not really enjoyable.
What happened to being able to slide the back of the bike out of corners.
Seems they've dumbed down the physics somewhat since ride 2, which was great coming out of the corners just twitching the rear!!

You can slide the ass round corners still, but you need to play on pro physics.
@@MariaDiaz-rz7zh I have all assists off and pro physics don't get me wrong it's a quality game I just think sliding the bikes out of the corner isn't as good it seems slightly dumbed down apart from that I love it
@@RIBZ85 Exactly. Just feels like they have removed the part where you can make the rear wobble with the throttle (if you know what i mean) but if you go too far then its bye bye. Although saying that i have remembered that i have a mod on my ride 2 called physics mod,but am sure you could do it with the normal physics in ride 2 anyway. A shame if you ask me!
This is no biggest complaint, that always added an element of fun to ride 2. Only other thing that bothers me is the customisation is VERY similar to ride 2 and I had hoped for more options.

What maybe me really want to get this game is the track they added the Southern 100 that’s a track I played in a old game on the ps2 and I never played ride 2 and I’m glad I waited for the third

One gripe i have with this game, is the grind! The grind system is garbage in the way that, in order to obtain the panigale v4 you'll have to put at least 20 hours in (to get the "magazines" and the amount of stars required), the races are for the most part boring to do (even with a difficult AI and all assists off, if you have a big level like I do, this game is easy as heck). I seem to have a glitch with the tcs where the "emergency" tcs still goes even when i turn the off-track aid off.
The gameplay is pretty nice though. I would recommend it to since well it's the only thing we got...
Grinding for credits in Milestone games can be super grueling sometimes. I guess the reason it didnt bother this time was because it was a game that for the most part was different from what I usually play. So pushing through the career didnt feel so bad and I picked up a different bike almost as soon as I had the credits to do so. Definitely understand what youre saying tho. Sometimes it just takes way to long.
Cheat engine makes it really easy to have everything. Tbh i cheated everything from the beginning becuz the A.I. is so fucking broken and frustrating that the Grind just isnt worth. When i turn the dificulty to 79 % i wipe the floor with the A.I. but everything above 80 is just fucking cheating(sudden Speed boosts eventhough they have slower bikes than me, rammin, having more Lean angle and acceleration). I cant find a fucking middleground and that destroyes the game completely. Back to time Trial for me i guess for the next 200 hours. Thank you milestone

Hi I wonder if anyone else has had this, I play on ps4, I bought the season pass for 35 pounds, and 2 of the bike packs they want more money for, just wondering if the pass is glitched .

I belive it might be correct that two of the DLC-packs only comes with the Gold-edition, and is not included in the season-pass. Has to be purchased seperately. Dont ask me why?

Looks pretty solid. And i love the fact that macau is finally in there but this is one of the ugliest versions of the guia street circuit ive ever seen xD the guardrails after mandarin bend are insane. And why are there no fences over the guardrails? Also nearly no track lighting on a street circuit at night? Cmon i thought its meant to be a simulation? Other than that it looks pretty fun
