i cant help but imagine Jay Leno watching this and going "hey, have one of those, and those, and that one..."
Jay Leno lacking a mk2 cagiva mito sp,,, the greatest and best looking bike ever made
Yes, but his warehouse isn't 'the wild'.
When I lived in south Florida, my dad brought me to a Ducati/Triumph dealer that was relatively close to go hang out with his other Ducati-riding friends. I didn't know the name of it or how special it was at the time (I was only 7 years old and I knew nothing about motorcycles) but I remember a bike in front of the dealer that stood out to me, I only realized after watching this video that the bike was a 916 Senna

How are you alive?
@@lincolnfleischman5259 My psychiatrist asks me the same question!
I thought he said 2019 or older I almost freaked out!
Same feeling about my 1962 Sprite.
Nice bomb
The 916 is liquid cooled. Never came in a aircooled configuration
Saved me the comment.
Beat me to it. I own one, and was like, "uhhh...."
Ohh there is a lot more wrong with this then that! hahaha I'll let him off showing images of a radiator and not realizing it exists lol.
I've just put a comment up he missed loads of bikes the guys too young to understand he's probably just flicked through some of his mates RUclips videos or read a couple of books if that.. 😂 and put it up.. 😄 😄 😄 What about the beautiful and sexy Honda RC45 750-RS I absolutely adore mine.., ❤️ and this wasn't in the video and that's a very rare bike nowadays.. Honda NR750 there's another one..
I've got a 748 but same here, saved me a comment
I got to rev a Desmo in a closed garage with the race exhaust on. The owner kept it in a bike safe along with several other special Ducatis. It was such a mental sound!
Yammie, You're awesonme. Please keep blessing the motorcycle community with your awesome videos.
What about the Britten V1000? Extremely rare and definitely one of the prettiest bikes ever made.
came here to say this
Definitely!
dude he called suzuki, "suzaki". he dont know bikes.
Were Brittens every street legal? Amazing bike buy I thought Jon only made race spec...
@@bubbasworld4604 it's a joke dude. Suzuki + Kawasaki
My Grandad owned a Ducati 916 Senna. He bought it whilst holidaying in Monaco in 1993 & got it shipped to UK.
He said it was impossible to ride & traded it for 3 brand new Harley Davidson's.
He believes that if he'd kept it he'd have definitely died as it begged you to go faster.
Well, there is quite a leap from a special edition Ducati sportsbike, to a Harley Davidson.. Chances are, that he would think most sportsbikes are "impossible to ride". But if he's happy with his choice, power to him. It would be a waste to own a bike like that Ducati and never ride it the way it deserves
@@Real_MisterSir He was around 45 at this time and he had around 7-8 Harleys anyway (We was very wealthy in the early 90's). He liked cruisers.
He said he didn't want to feel on edge and he claims the reason he's never fallen off whilst riding is due to the fact he doesn't own sports bikes!
I had a Daytona 675 and was constantly pushed to ride harder. I can only imagine why a 916 felt like to ride on shitty English roads!
I ride my multistrada wearing my shirt that reads " THE BEST THING IN THE HARLEY SHOP WINDOW IS THE REFLECTION OF MY DUCATI" 😄😄😄😄😄
Pretty sure the 916 wasn't even in production in 93. They were still producing the 888.
Greg Hamilton Yeah, I don't exactly remember, and haven't checked, but I'm thinking the 916 was introduced in 95.
*The truly most rare bike on Earth?*
- The bike you want to buy, being available at the right time and the right price, and within your area. That shit is freaking impossible to find. It is always off season in some place far away, or at a dealership that asks 30% more than the bike is really worth, or something is broken and needs to be fixed, or it has a billion miles, etc. That one gem, the right place/right time kind of bike, it's just never there.
When i bought my duke it was perfect , best thing is that i managed to sell my other bike the other day , that feeling is awesome!
I've found a low mileage 2002 FZS600 Fazer (the exact type of bike I was looking for) with braided hoses, double bubble windscreen, scorpion end can, colour matched belly pan and colour matched powder coated wheels (most of the major modifications I was considering and some I wasn't), in Kenny Roberts racing colours (exactly the colour that I was looking for) as a private sale. the owner takes the bike to the same mechanic as I take mine to. He wanted a very fair price, and I put down a deposit as soon as I was able to, I'm just trying to get through Christmas before I pay it off outright. And best of all, the current owner actually interviewed everyone who wanted to buy the bike, he rejected people because he thought they would damage the bike. Oh, and he lives a mile down the road from me. The Fazer is kept in a heated garage, the tyres are rotated daily, the bike is started and run weekly, and is serviced every few months, and is ridden about once a year to the MOT station, then back again.
I disagree two years ago and counting I picked up a 2004 Honda VTX 1300s , 30,000 miles, $500. New battery, fluids and tires. Hasn't stopped since.
My dad named me after him Ayrton Senna he was one of my favorite all time drivers also
I've only seen the desmo in real life when I hosted a Ducati meet at my bar in Toronto (canada) little did I know! Glad I got to hear it run!
There was a whole set of new broughs, including the SS100 at my local dealer. Spent so long staring through the glass it's now imprinted onto my eyes
Missed the Britten V1000 , my favorite of the unobtainable motorcycles. Though it may not be as rare as some of these bikes, it looks incredible and A total of 10 were built. It also has true racing heritage having won the Battle of the Twins in Daytona International Speedway's Daytona Bike Week festivities in the US and set several world speed records. Guy Martin got to ride one and it was like a national treasure in New Zealand (where it was made)... Not going to see one on the street any time soon.
Wasn't the V1000 a race only bike? A brilliant piece of engineering.
Who else saw all the naked women posters in the background at 10:58 lol

I dont know how he hasn't covered the first Japanese watercooled motorcycles the 1971 to 1977 Waterbuffalo in one of his videos yet. It was one of the fastest cruiser bikes of its time and it's a 2 stroke 3 banger. My grandfather bought one brand new in 72 and it was passed on to me.
make a video on the different types of motorcycle thieves:)

I know the guy who owned that 1951 Chinese Red Vincent White Shadow, he found it in pieces in a shed in the early 80s not knowing at the time that he had found a truly unique motorcycle.
He finished the restoration in the mid 80s and you could surely find it in the wild when he owned it, he rode it often until he sold it at auction.
Hey...CLAMMY PUBE DUDE......where the HELL is the MOTORCYCLE warranty deal thinger ??!!?? I don't have a truck, or a car either
You are a mellinial HACK!
How is it with only having a bike as transportation? I'm wanting to get a bike and dont know if I want to keep my car.

I helped restore a Coventry Eagle back in the late 80's in Coventry UK. We got into the local press with it and it is currently in Coventrys Museum Of Road Transport.
Yo Cummie Pube, could you do us a solid and make a video about the types of motorbike engines... there seems to be a load of them! Cheers :)
Watch HeroRR's video about motorcycle engines. It is pretty good
@Jason Bouphasavanh Some Yamaha crossplanes are I4s... you can have a crossplane or flat plane crankshaft on any engine type. For some reason most I4s are flat plane while generally American V8s are crossplane. Not sure why.
@Jason Bouphasavanh I know it just sounded like you were contrasting I4 with crossplane.
One of those Rickman nickel plated jobs is sitting a couple miles from me. Mated with a Norton 750. The frame is the oil reservoir. It's pretty wild!
Meh, I got myself a rare and exclusive motorcycle for cheap, and that's my Hyosung GT650R. Well, it's rare and exclusive in my country, which is all that matters to me personally, the dealer only got 6 bikes after the facelift, and out of those 6 only 2 were in white, red and grey. My first bike is also rare as well as the dealer got a few but people weren't really into naked bikes back then, a GT650. They are both cheap, basic and raw, love them!
Death666wish That's pretty cool bro! Over here in America we can't have Hyosungs, but god damn do I wish I could get one imported. The Gt650r looks so sweet. I prefer the sport bike Vs. the Naked bike look.
We had Hyosungs in America about 10 years ago. I know a dealer near me that has several new old stock ones and has barely marked the price down from MSRP
4ampaul Really?? I had no idea. I might have to look into finding one of these. I had no clue there were some in the states already.
Isle of man hickman lap

3 bikes no one talks about but are fun as hell, Suzuki Bandit 400, Honda NT650, and the CB-1, I have owned bigger bikes, but never had as much fun than on those 3 listed above
In the words of Homer Simpson: "Extended warranty!? I can't lose!"
Chatted with a fellow that rode up to a local bike stop here in SoCal on a Desmosedici RR. Turned out he actually owns two. He kept his other one at his cabin in the mountains but it was inop because mice had eaten through a couple of cable looms.
Omg it's my favourite RUclipsr, slammie hoop!!!
My neighbour had one of those desmosedici RR. He casually ride it on weekend just to buy some street food like fried rice or noodles near our home. The bike is still like new and probably only making 1000 miles of travel by now.
I´m disappointed what about the Britten V1000 only 10 were ever produced and it has by far the best Story behind it i ever heard of a motorcycle.
That's a race bike, not a road bike.
All Hail The Mighty Britten V1000 and their Kiwi engineering
kieron wheeler and the red Vincent? Your arguement is not valid
Gotta say I was a little disappointed to not see the Ducati SuperMono in this list. Quick story about it, I worked at a dealership in CA and one of the owners raced Isle of Mann on one, and had the bike sitting in the shop. Found myself at the Ducati factory while in Italy one year and took the tour. The tour guide talked about the SuperMono and showed us one. She was completely shocked when I told her I knew someone that owned one.
Side note, that same owner once checked (yes CHECKED) a Yamaha FZR400 in his luggage, to race at Isle of Mann.
10:56 I think you missed something I think RUclips did too
Lol i caught that too, maybe spike is trying to see how far he can push the line with the youtube algorithm
I love your dry humour and i always have to lol with your intros (gummy cube etc) love it!
Best wishes from switzerland and keep up the work
10:53 nice posters
Mate, you forgot the Britten V1000. This list can't be complete without that.
Used to have a 916 SPS when it came out. Had it for two years and it got stolen. ,😣
For the ones who want to know. Police found the bike before i knew it was stolen. They found it 16 miles from where i live, wrapped around a tree with a death thief nearby. Succes!
Man, talk about karma
I actually saw a red MG Le Mans 1000 in the back of a pickup truck going through Houston three weeks ago or so. I'm fairly familiar with vehicles, but that one threw me for a bit of a loop. It's almost ironic that I'm now watching this and you're stating how rare the are. Safe riding, Yamster.
I’ve seen a desmosedici RR one time and haven’t seen it since
I thought I saw a Ducati 916 Senna, turns out it was just a Cagiva Mito that the owner put the Senna livery on
Newcomb Ranch on Pro Italia ride days you'll likely see some of these rarities in person.
You may wanna looking into a Honda NR750 it has 4 cylinder 8 value per cylinder with a oval piston plus titanium part on the engine(very exotic). In the 90's is sold for $60,000 not sure how many saw sold worldwide. They have one on display at the Barber museum.
I got distracted by the Pin Up Girls , seems shops never have them anymore
I thought no one else noticed.
Been saving up since for a while now for a normal 916. They arent to expensive where I live and hopefully I'll be able to get one some day. Ever since my dad bought me a toy version of it when I was really young it was a dream of mine!
First like lol Honda blackbird carb is still my favourite
Ducati Senna, Series 1 was grey with red wheels. 300 made of each model and 3 models in total. Sold mine after owning it for 2 years
You also won't easily see a Honda NR...
Probably never.
whisperdancer unless you have one. But the amount is like six figures
this came to my mind as well, but wasn't it essentially a concept bike?
Seen. What a dumb boring bike.
I love that you drive a 370! I've rebuilt a couple S chassis and came to the bike life after leaving the AZ Drift scene! Its all adding up Poppa Yam!
WTF, no Britten V1000. Do you even ride?
Brutal but fair
Funny because he doesn't ride due to the fact that he's a moron and almost killed himself when he did
But that's not road going...
You're so right about the Rickman frames giving superb handling and were way ahead of their time, I'd a Kawasaki H2 in 1975, it went like a rocket in a straight line but in the bends handled like a camel with a hinge in the middle, I got the engine put in a Rickman frame and it was brilliant at the time there wasn't a bike in N. Ireland could get close to it.
Hah. I've got a '70 Triumph Bonneville that didn't leak oil.
Had it drained all the oil out already ?

If you haven’t already check out the Norton F1. I think it would be a great addition to this list if you make another one of these. It has very low production numbers, a lot of interesting history about the company at that time, and best of all a rotary engine, which is just rare in itself.
You forgot about the Husqvarna 530 RR
Love the Debussy. Can we get that with a turbo?
🤣
Love the Vincents, when I was a kid my Dad restored a Black Shadow which he later sold. On the day of the sale, we had about 20 Vincents from the Vancouver chapter of the Vincent club parked in our driveway, I'll never forget that day!
My dad owned a black shadow in the 50s. Wish he still had it as they are worth £50k and up.

i saw a Ducati Senna at the Ducati Dealership here in brazil in the early 2000's when i was a kid and would visit that dealership every weekend just to look at the bikes lol. at the time i didn't thought much of it. I remember i saw some Cagivas and a Bimota at the workshop there as well and at the time i also didn't knew what it was either lool. The Ducati 999 was the one used to dream about lmao

Solid list from the illustrious and immortal Rammy Boob, the Clammy Pube, Yammie Noob.
Idk man the ducati 916 Senna is quite ugly. The headlights look like someone took the smallest scooter they could find, chop off the top and mount it on a bike. It really didn't age well
i like it
yea it looks too squashed for my liking. It has these wide headlights that are un-aggressive and the front is so stubby, it kinda looks like it has been crashed head first into a wall, and then the italian sculptors tried to save what was left and repolish it. I don't particularly hate it, I just don't get the fuzz about its "amazing design". To me, it has aged far worse than the later bike 999/749, which were not too well received by the public back then, but start to get a following now as their looks are more in line with modern styles.
cagiva made a 125 really similar to that, in italy it's pretty common, if you see it in person you will change your mind
@@JK-tu1xx well, isn't the point of that video that you will probably never see it in person?

I saw a Desmosedici at the cafe near the local twisties, he says he rides it every weekend. I never thought I'd see that. They look awesome.
My Father had a Black Shadow in the ‘60s - sold it for an E Type Jag
Might want to add the 1982 Yamaha XJ 1100 J. With the full front fairing, which included a Am/FM with cassette tape. A Japanese motorcycle with a fairing made in Texas.
One day, I think it was the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, I saw THREE Brough Superior SS100s (new variant) out in the wild. I suppose it's not surprising given that I live in England near Moto Corsa, which is a Brough Superior dealer in Gillingham, Dorset.
YAMMIE NOOB great show Thanx for sharing
I saw one of those Brough SS100 while I was working up North, it sounded beautifu!
I have a Brough dealer in dorset about 15 miles from my house, they have 4 classics in there along with the new ss100! These along with loads of other classic bikes, mv agustas and aprilia’s. They’re called Moto corsa.
On my way to Laguna seca 2 years ago for wsbk race I drove behind a desmosedici part of the way. Sounded nice
How about a very much under appreciated Italian MotoBike, the Laverda 750SF, SFC and the triple Laverda 1000!! One of the best sounding bike I ever owned or heard.
You also forgot the RC213v and the HP4 Race, both are arguably more rare than the brough superior.
@0:00 Honda NRG750 has to be on the list, it cost at least 100 grand, has oval pistons with eight valves and a fiberglass body. :)
@0:45 If you ruin the fairing, it sets you back a basic Ford Mustang.
You definitly miss the Münch Mammut
A neighbour has an immaculate Ducati 750SS. Only 400 were ever made. It lives inside his house on a special stand under spotlights and only goes out once a year for its annual mechanical fitness test. I once housesat for him and just stared at it every day.
The guy I got my 1098 off has a Desmosedici and I've seen 2 for sale on bikesales for around $90-100k AUD. Certainly amazing piece of machine and a landmark of "modern" rarity
Your videos are so lit!
I think you missed a few. Bimota, Krocker, or maybe Pope. I think there may only be 1 Pope boardtrack racer left, I actually have seen it at a shop in Indiana where it was getting some resto work done to it
What about the Bimota Tesi 1D? Finding one of those is as rare as finding a diamond in dirt, absolutely legendary bike!
love these videos.
My 73 Kawasaki 350 Bighorn with just over 3000 miles on the odometer and in complete, unmolested original condition is also something you will be unlikely to ever see the like of on the road. Cost me less than 75,000 dollars and is a pure hoot to ride.
Nice list!
I would have made it 9 bikes and included the NR750 oval piston (300 made)
And of course the R7 (500 made) but most went racing, which means many were wrecked.
My mate had one of the 3 R7s that came to Australia and had it road registered. The spark plugs were nearly unobtainable. . Special order from Japan and months waiting for them to turn up.
Yea, the R7 was made to be used, either as a decent streetbike or as a upper echelon racer when all the right bits are installed. Either way, it gets used.
The NR was more of a tech showpiece, highly neutered from its potential since it was never really meant to be "used".....hence, a museum/collector bike.
I mean the only two I’ve seen IRL (the Ducati’s) I’ve actually ridden and they’re exactly what a Ducati should be, loud and fast with loads of character
Hey noob, i would love to see what could do explaining the amazing brittain motor cycles, and the genius behind them.
