I am a big Ride fan, i own Ride, Ride 2, Ride 3 and Ride 4, all run on PS4 Pro.
My verdict:-
Ride is a good for its time but thats about as far as it goes.
Ride 2 is amazing, greater physics, much more content, improved graphics.
Ride 3 is simular to ride 2 but slightly better in every way.
Ride 4 has been made with a noticable downgrade in physics and gameplay but a slight increase in graphics and engine sounds and would also like to point out that ride 4's challenges seem much more harder to accomplish than on ride 3 with simuar difficulty settings.
Ride 3 vs Ride 4 verdict:-
If you prefer the visual and engine sounds, go with Ride 4.
If you favour actual gameplay and physics then go with Ride 3.

Ride 4 AI dont mistake, every corner is perfect turning. Aı level %20 and %60 same so hard. Every race is 5 laps, tracks is so long one race 10-12 min. So bored. Great graphics great sound but so challenge game ride 3 is a more enjoyable

There's certainly a difference in the way the 2 games play! Ride 3 was accessible to any type of gamer where as Ride 4 is way too hard from the off!

Now that I'm used to the game and it's physics my only real problem is that some tracks like the Nurburgring aren't laser scanned. Also first person cam was better in ride 3 imo.

My biggest issue with Ride 3 is the lack of wheelies, you can power out of a slow corner in 1st gear without a single chance of the bike flipping. While having anti wheelie off it still feels as if it's on. Is Ride 4 the same in this regard ?
Nope, in Ride 4 you can flip really easily with the AW at 0.

What i noticed in ride3 is the bikes seem to wheelie only when they are straight up, not leaning at all.
@Emlenoob how do you disable anti wheelie on Ride 4 ? I can't find it and it bothers me a lot
@@alvernhem you do it during gameplay, I think you cycle through the assists with right & left on the d pad while riding. Should be bottom right corner of the screen.
i played all the ride games and for me ride 4 is more realistic in terms of gameplay and graphics and the lighting is better but there are still some bugs and issues to solve, i still recommend it and its my favorite ride to play even if for the moment there are many great bikes missing
Everything feels great except getting the bike to actually turn at times, or I just suck at the game haha
@@pipejones1806 yeah the cornering was always a bit hard specially in S turns the bikes feel heavy but its better in Ride 4 i think
I would be more interested in a new tourist trophy from the good old ps2. Even taking gran turismo sport and adding bikes I would be happy. Gran turismo add some God dam bikes!
I would love to see a new tourist trophy, thats my favorite motorcycle game. I think ride 3 is pretty close to it, its not tourist trophy but its better than most.

I've never played any ride games but hearing from what people said about ride 4 hardness... I think at this point ride 4 is gonna be similar like motogp... Look at the bike logics, i mean, in reality motorcycles are wild and it's not easy to tame them... So my opinion is i think the hardness of the ride 4 is acceptable

Just got ride 4 on ps5 and love it. Hard to play as it’s first time I have played a bike sim. Took me a few hours to get used to just the controls. I have physics and everything on realistic or manual. Main issue is the developers are so lazy they don’t even teach you how to play, don’t even tell you the buttons ffs

Same thing honestly. Trying to trail break into a corner with a 1000 without going wide or locking up(even with ABS on) is a hit or miss.
@@Stevestech just use less break and more gas jk. I use independent breaks so the front and rear are seperated. Once you get the bike leaned forward a bit you can pretty much grab the breaks as hard as you want and as far as trail braking goes. From what I've noticed it really doesnt help in the game, i prefer to setup for my turn and give it gas through out the turn. The really hard part is maxxing out your build for your class and having street tires and not high siding

The lighting is excessive in 4 it's like F1 2019 way over the top and far from reality
The sound is far superior on ride 4

And what about the difficulty? sometimes in ride3 it's impossible to win in 120% depends on the track, even at 100%.
And what about the breaking?
I could barely win at 55 percent difficulty in the rain with near perfect driving and setup. I play some motorbike games on realistic difficulty...
it doesnt make any significant difference, it just more detailed and that only texturing thing. something that you can replace a pic to another. just like that

How is the traction control in Ride 4? I play on the keyboard (so I need TC) and in Ride 3 it's impossible to slide out with full TCS. If that's not the case I don't even want to bother with 4 cause I don't want to play on a controller.
I think tcs is fine but you need to worry about tyre management in Ride 4. You cant always open throttle fully when your tyre is less than 50% or something

@@pingustrasse I've never had a controller in my life. I borrowed a PS3 controller from a friend once and hated it. It was so small my hand cramped up in like 5 min, also I couldn't even go in a straight line. That's probably just cause I wasn't used to it tho.

On ride 3 at R1 run comparison you have traction controll full and on the ride 4 traction controll off thats why the bike look like more aggressive on ride 4 , this diferentes it is important to emphasize , if on the ride 3 turn off the tc the behavior of the bike is different and more aggressive too .(I have the ride 3)

So weird how they've made the rear tire kick out so easily...even when your smooth on the throttle.
Same thing with MotoGP19 vs MotoGP20. Many people complained about it (motogp20) but i guess Milestone isn't listening. I hope they'll do something about it. It's excessive.
IF you are having issues with powerfull bikes try softening the rear suspension, that should help a little bit.
You just need to avoid accelerating while leaned over too far, even if the acceleration is smooth. You should be accelerating as you straighten up, the less lean angle you have the more acceleration the bike can handle. It's realistic but takes a bit of practice to manage on a controller. Also, the first upgrade I do to any bike is always to buy the track tyres - has a massive impact on grip into and out of turns.

I know some things arent perfect but yeah ride 4 is better in physics, a lot of people say that because the game is hard and literally sucks playing career and that what most people play , i hate career mode in the game becythe AI dont respect you and the races are too long! So i only play time trial and i make videos about it! When you turn every assist off the game is insane! But it is really hard at first even with assists on , i know that because ride 4 was my first motorcycle game and i raged every time i played it

btw just to make it clear, it has no crowds because it's time attack mode. just like in real life when you do a private test or something like that there will be no crowds watching. The crowds are still there if you do a race tho so don't worry😉

I certainly hate the fact that milestone tries to go more realistic from every moto game they release. Car simulations with controller can be still fun, but moto games? Motogp 20 would be such a great game, if they would make it more accessible for every player.

Are everyone missing the biggest different between ride 3 and 4?? I noticed right away that ride 4 has so bad top speed on bikes or am I missing something? I mean the bmw 1000r with 248hp barely reach 300kmh in ride 4😱 wtf is not even close what the bike tops in irl or in ride 3! The biggest detail the could missed and they did! Very very bad.
Here's the thing. Most 1000cc, actually pretty much all of them, are top speed limited by gearing. Meaning when the motor redlines in 6th gear, its spun as far as it can go, and usually that's somewhere around 186-190 something mph. Its not a lack of power, its still taching out. So no matter how much power you add, the bike will never go faster once it redlines, unless you put taller gears in there. If a BMW s1000rr makes 200hp and tops out at 186mph, and you add 50 hp, but don't raise the gearing youre still doing 186 mph when you spin up to redline. You just got there faster.

I agree I keep going back to Ride 2. It has some flaws, but the actual bike control feel is the best. I'll choose game feel/control over graphics any day. You cant even wheelie in ride 3

Just got Ride 4 on sale for Xbox series x, It's fantastic! All you gotta do is turn all the realism off and find the set of driving aids that work for you. I'm having a blast. Best Ride game yet. All the problems I have encountered from the previous Ride games are gone. I did wait for the $15 sale because I already had Ride 3, But I was pleasantly surprised when I got Ride 4! 8/10 at least.

Percebi isso também. Freando forte na placa de 100 ou 150 mts, chegando na hora de deitar ela sai de traseira mesmo só freando o dianteiro. Física estranha.

bikes slip more often than you might think, my problem is the bouncing after the slide
