Hey what’s up everyone, it’s Derek from Nerd or Die and I’d like to introduce you to the Glitch overlay stream package. In this video I’ll show you how to set up and customize the event list, install the overlay for StreamLabs OBS, and also how to set things up inside of OBS Studio.
Let’s get right into it.
To start, I’ve listed the timings for each section in the description, feel free to jump around the video to get to the parts that you need.
The Glitch Overlay pack features an animated event list with a ton of custom options, animated screen designs for starting, intermission, and ending screens, and animated overlays that you can use inside of most streaming software. It was designed to fit the style of our popular Glitch alerts, which I imagine a few of you already use - so it should compliment that nicely, and give you channel a nice clean look. We’ve also included stinger transitions and Twitch panels as well. Basically, anything you’d need, should be included.

This is absolutely the best overlay I've ever seen, very minimalist looking just how I like it. I only wish this one had better info panels and chat box like the Glitch 2 has but nevertheless still amazing otherwise!

At 12 minutes in you talk about the stream labels. Is there a way to change the title of the label that show up on the screen? I can change the actual info it will display but not the title that shows up to the left of it. Thanks
I reset the code and overlay by accident at my eventlist. How can i undo this? I would like to have the glitch eventlist. How can i set it to default?

Just wanted ask a question. At 11:40 when you switched to that tab, the bottom portions where the tips/bits/topdonnor etc etc have an opacity to them. Mine do not. Is there anyway to change that? I purchased this and love it.
Is there an option to make those lines in event list shorter? I'm not seeing this in Streamlabs dashboard, do I have to edit CSS perhaps or the only way is to resize entire event list manually?

Absolutely love this set, but just a heads up the updates made to Streamlabs OBS has removed the customization tabs from the site and the app itself, so I'm not able to change colors on any of these overlays or alerts. Same with Interface, unless you happen to get the NerdorDie subscription to create custom overlays or you get the non-animated freebie on Streamlab's theme store and just color edit each static image individually in Photoshop.
Is it possible to change the “stream starting”, “new follower” texts etc.? My stream is mainly Turkish, so I want to change the texts to Turkish without losing the glitch effect. Since stream starting is a video file instead of text, I don’t think I’ll be able to change it unless you provide the premiere/ae files.

great video but how does one edit the WebM files? for instance the text file, " Be Right Back" is so big it fills two lines on the screen.. Would be nice to have it read across the screen.. Thanks, Oh never mind.. Scenes!! lol
Is there any way to edit/control the volume of the stinger transition? My viewers said it's cool, just way too loud.
Hi. I purchased your Glitch stream pack. It is amazing by far. There is only one issue and that is the transition. When switch scenes it works on some scenes completely fine but on my main scenes it kinda works but is choppy and doesn't work properly. I set it just like in the video and i use Slobs. Any help would be appreciated.

"URGENT help, please" I have the new version of this glitch over lay I purchased from you guys. In obs studios the "starting" and "ending" is freezing for like 5 seconds and then it animates for a sec and stops again. Everything is there but pauses. I removed scene, copied url from stream elements again and added back a new source for my start and end. nothing is fixing it. please help?

So ive been messing around with this package for awhile now and I cannot for the life of me get the volume to turn down whatsoever. I've tried changing it through the streamlabs website and streamlabs itself. Nothing works, if anyone has any idea what I can do please let me know!

If you're a Streamlabs user, I believe we've set a volume slider up under the "Custom Fields" tab.

Yes, you can use color filters inside OBS Studio to do this. It will effect the Glitch colors as well.

hi, if you still need an answer, i found that it only does it in the recording/stream, but you yourself do not hear it, interestingly enough.

So I bought this pack and I love it. However, I can't seem to get the alerts working with the other widgets. I'm using SLOBS and I clicked the easy setup thing. Everything worked but the alerts. I tried to make another widget but then the alert box doesn't work. I tried to add the alert through adding the webm files but then the name doesn't show up right. Not sure on what to do.
Okay never mind I found out what I was doing wrong. To anyone else who ran into this problem as well instead of clicking new widget each time click on the existing one to add it to it. Now everything should work. :)

Hey i recently bought this, but when i try to the alert widget and the event widget, they end up de activating each other because only one works at a time and i cant select both, but at the end of your video you had it all working, im trying to stream to RUclips so i dont know if that matters?

Hello guyz! i just wanna ask you if you have fps drop when you use this overlay! coz when i stream with this my game is around 90-110 fps but when i remove it and i have just my camera and the game i have 200+fps! any help?
Are you enabling "Close file when inactive" for all of the media items? Otherwise the files will be running in the background when they're not being used. Also, streaming is CPU intensive overall.
Is the Glitch Overlay also multi language supported?
Things like the "Starting Soon" animation do not. Other parts can be edited via the text sources. We include blank supporter labels to allow you to word as needed.
The alerts can be changed as well.
Okay, too bad the "stream starting" and "stream ending" can't be translated. Nevertheless, a very good overall package.
Is it possible to assign a different color in the event list depending on the event? So the font color in the event list? For example, that the font color of Donations is yellow and Subscriber is green?
If you know basic CSS, you can do this pretty easily. Otherwise, no, we didn't want to have too many options.

Upgrade it i want to buy it but i miss a lot of thing, webcam for person and for keyboard like TFUE, just donator and suscriber down the webcam, media down the webcam (twitter, instagram...) sorry for my english... and if can update the sorces to change "stream starting" like sony vegas o adobe file for custom it will be a lot better
my files when i downloaded them to my computer are .zip could this be the reason they are not showing up on streamlabs OBS? if so how do i fix this?! ive been trying to resolve this for the past 2 hours.. :/ thanks!

Not to be disrespectful of your work but at the 1:00 mark when the new subscriber notification comes on screen and the name js displayed the remaining bars give the impression that it is a swastika

go to your glitch assets folder and find the zipped glitch overlay folder move that to your desktop and unzip it go to streamlabs and import overlay and you will find it in the folder you just unzipped on your desktop I had the same issue hope this helps.

This was helpful until you decided to completely skip the process of having to move all this stuff over to OBS. Feel like I now wasted 20 dollars....
Sorry you feel like that. There's a few things that can help you. 1) We condensed the OBS part because it's exactly like all the other videos we made, so you can follow the process on this video with this pack and be good to go (just use the fonts we recommend in the guide): ruclips.net/video/4QdMjPAmByw/видео.html

The way this video is explained is fuckin horrible. I bought this layout months ago and referred to this video and their read me file, and isn't really step by step, they skip shit here and there. I ended figuring out shit on my own and I literally almost "summit1g" (punched) my fuckin monitor. Anyway, I had to factory reset my PC, deleted all my files, I downloaded the overlay and guess what? Here I am again ready to really "summit1G" my fuckin monitor. G fuckin G Nerdordie.
