I have watched a lot of these over the last year from different sources and I have found that you have one of the most comprehensive videos. You explain everything without dumbing it down too much and you don't speak too fast. I will be going through all the videos to help me set up my streaming! Thanks!
You're a life saver, thanks for taking the time to do this. I don't plan on doing it big time, just messing around with friends. You're saving me a lot of frustration because I had no clue where to even start with all of this. Great series.
wow. i really have to say thank you man. honestly, this tutorial even three years later helped me to understand a lot of the basic mechanics of both OBS and Streamlabs OBS. your thoroughness and attention to detail really met my need for clarity when learning. i'm on cloud nine right now, thanks for the ticket.
There are many free templates on reddit or the internet itself, just google "free twitch template psd" or "free streaming template photoshop" and you'll get many results, then download and edit colours.
Thank you for your videos! They helped a lot! Also thanks to the constructive comments that also helped :) Game: League of Legends Client: Window Capture InGame: Game Capture It seems that it only works that way, but I am not very ecperienced with OBS - just started using it yesterday...
Absolutely brilliant! I just installed OBS 20.0.1 because my 8-year-old grandson is desperate to record gameplay videos. As his IT "department", I rely on youtube channels such as yours, with clear step-by-step instructions. You got me up to speed with this one segment, so I will be watching all of your OBS videos so I can (hopefully) keep one step ahead of the little man! Thanks SO much!!
So glad I subscribed to this guy.. I stopped streaming for a good 6 months and forgot how to set everything up and this chan saved so much time for me xD
I watch the entire Video , including bits i would normally skip over, because your clear manner of speaking is one i find to be a good influence, hopefully i can at least subconsciously learn from it :)
Overwatch and I used game capture. Thanks for your videos. I would have never been able to figure out OBS on my own, you would think they would have a basic tutorial. Your videos are the best I found on youtube on the topic.
League of Legends - window capture. I was messing around with this for SO long (had it in game capture) and came across your video and finally tried window capture - it worked! :) Thank youu
I don't know why people make fun of him and send him hate. Whoever is doing this is a complete bully. You really help me a lot and you should just ignore the haters and the people who are making fun of you. Keep doing this, I will support you!
man you are god... yesterday only i created my channel... i don't know proper way to add some source in obs.. finally i got you man. you are great.. keep post more videos. for gamers
i'm still new to this, so can anyone tell me how I can view the overlays in-game? so i don't have to alt tab every few minutes also how can i record the stream (but only recording the actual gameplay; no overlays, no voice comment, etc)??
Kami Kun to view overlays like your twitch chat or something without having to click away from your game window you can either connect a second monitor like a tv to your computer using an hdmi cable then go to display settings in your computer’s settings application and choose which screen you want to be your main display and change your second monitor to extended display instead of duplicate so you can drag windows like obs overlays to your secondary monitor if you want to be able to see something such as the live chat at all times without having to constantly minimize your game window. If you don’t have the option of connecting a second monitor or tv screen to your computer and your computer screen is the only monitor you have - then you might have to layer the overlay on top of your game window in your obs sources and then right click the source to see if you can make it visible to you on screen but not captured and shown in what you want to be on the output recording. And then your other question: to save your stream as a recording just go to your obs settings and under the stream tab you can check the box that says save stream as a recording. If you don’t want the webcam and commentary and stuff in the recording you’ll need to go to obs settings and under the recording tab make your game capture the only source that’s enabled and disable the ones you have enabled for the stream settings if you don’t want them to also be in the recording
omg I want to be a youtuber but now this guy just made me better at being one in the future snd I like his accent its very understanding unlike the other youtubers who talk gibberish
Game Capture - Street Fighter V. Make sure you 'run as administrator' on OBS, for some reason SFV isn't recognised in OBS Game Capture when it's not run as administrator.. took me a while to figure out!
Thanks a bunch for this man cleared up quite a few things for me, I never realized an overlay was just a standard picture and texts lol I figured it was some sort of programming or such. Also the layering thing helped me figure out why I could never find my actual webcam lol
Diablo 3 - Game Capture. Awesome video to make it very easy to understand and to help learn the basics of OBS. Thank you for taking your time to make this video!
Just started streaming, needed a quick basic tutorial on setting OBS up! Normally long videos I get bored with, but actually was helpful! Subscribed (:
There is so much knowledge in these OBS video guides. Even as amateur I didn't know quite a few details that you've covered in these guides. Such top quality guides really! You got my subscription, sir. Thank you so much.
Great Info really appreciate it. Enjoying the rest of your videos as well. I'm playing "Creative." Choosing "Video capture Device." Using 2 x Elgato HD60 & HD60S" running Sony NX70 Procams as feeds as well as a couple of Logitec 922 webcams. I record via SD Cards in camera as streaming and re-edit footage into a TV Show.
i'm only following since yesterday and watched 4 videos of yours, and they incredible insightful and thorough, it is a very good content. I am a beginner Streamer so this kind of advices are Golden because they save you enormous amount of time instead of learning from your experiences
I think you should really put these in order, like add Video 1 step by step since you really like OBS and talking about it. You've honestly helped me out alot. My geforce just doesnt like twitch. I used "Game Capture" to capture "Cold Waters", a submarine simulator. I would also like to see a video, (and I hope it is already created), on how to create overlays using Photoshop or similar, (think LibreOffice versions), software programs. This type of video is very helpful and useful. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
I had to pause the video to say WOW that camera has some high resolution my friend! I stopped focusing on the point of the video and just was amazed by the camera resolution XD.
I would be interested in seeing a video on creating custom overlays in Photoshop. As with so many of your vids, they are informative, helpful and are typically the first ones I view for information or issues. Thanks for everything you do!
Love the channel! Very easy for beginners to comprehend everything without being being overwhelmed. Is this video pretty relevant still being 5 years old. Just getting started in OBS.
Hello. I end up using the game specific capture option. It worked fine for me . I am curently playing Overwatch , CS GO and some Quake Champions. Which method of Game Capture did you use and what game was it?
Window Capture, I was playing The Walking Dead on XB1
Gaming Careers also second question how does one go about making an intro
