A good tip with the LOK-1 is to try and angle your rounds into weakpoints. By adjusting your aim while holding a lock, you can actually curve the bullets into a weakpoint if you're using something like the Executioner overclock. Just watch out for battle conditions that may affect your aim and the trajectory of the bullets.
Especially like on 5:30 where hopefully Richard will volley the shots over the terrain next time

Alright last time uploading promise, Premiere and Media Encoder really trying my soul today. Audio issues were essentially messing with music and adding too much bass to Voice Over.
Ah yes. The weapon that got me back into playing DRG.
Love it to death, but honestly miss the shotgun whenever I’m using it. The shotgun just feels too correct for Engineer in my opinion.
Still a great weapon and a very fun choice.
Especially since they changed turret whip in update 34, it feels so good to boost your turrets with it.
Sums up my thoughts about the LOK-1 perfectly.
I absolutely love the gun, but whenever I’m using it I go “the shotgun would be nice here.. i miss the turret whip and ammo efficiency..”
Blows the park out of the few other DRG build youtuber's I've seen. I find accuracy of build intention, synergy and coverage of weaknesses and strengths to be present.
I enjoy the Seeker Rounds OC for the LOK-1, mainly that they bypass armor and always hits it’s locked target, at the cost of fire rate and reload speed.
Tier 1: Expanded Ammo Bags
Tier 2: Zoom Lens
Tier 3: SMRT Targeting Software
Tier 4: Shutter Speed Sensor
Tier 5: Electric Generator Mod
My reasons-
Tier 1: I prefer ammo than damage in my opinion for longevity but damage isn’t all bad
Tier 2: This isn’t good in small caves but for the larger one it comes in handy, Macro Lens is good if not concerned about range
Tier 3: Mainly used to save ammo and using unnecessary ammo over killing enemies but electro chemical rounds works with the tier 5 mod I chose
Tier 4: Save time locking to targets given the slower fire rate
Tier 5: Like the DOT electric but the other 2 can be good also
Just a heads up that the SMRT targeting doesn't actually save you ammo. Even though it can have enough locks on a target to overkill by default, the weapon will stop shooting once that enemy is dead. So if you have 5 locks on a grunt and it's dead after 2 shots, your burst will end after just 2. That being said, the main use case for that mod is actually to better let you spread your locks around more, which I find to be not useful with so many "get at least 3 locks on a target" requirements.
It is a good idea to pick increased damage at full lock on for the executioner build since Dreadnoughts are really hard to set on fire, also both them and Opressors can't really get electrocuted. This makes using the target penetration mod in tier 3 somewhat viable in a few edge cases
Turret Arc can electrocute then, but you need to do some setup to make it work.

Loving the DRG videos! Would you mind doing the Autocannon soon? New to the game and loving that weapon but I'm not sure if I should lean into higher direct damage and armor break, or if it'd be better to go for max AoE damage. Increased accuracy is a must imo lol. Please and thank you!

People often complain about its low ammo, but that just means they're so excited about using it to mow down crowds of bugs and forget they have other weapons.

My only issue with this gun is it doesn't have a lot of ammo to go along with it. It shreds but man you're constantly out of gas with it, unfortunately.
That means you're using it too much. Use your secondaries and turrets.
Isn't explosion enough in first build?

Because blowthrough is bugged and SMRT negatively affects the overclock

Honestly 2 OC's I'd like to see is a
- A piecer mod like seeker except it punches through any material or target (dealing damage) but then stopping at the enemy. Still subject to armor but it will ALWAYS reach the target
- Swarm rounds OC, massively reduced lock on and break lock targeting, reduced target count, reduced ammo and damage but the bullets fired will bounce to different lock on targets twice. Never hitting the same target. Sort of like bullet hell.

Honestly I really don’t like the lok 1 cause it just takes too long to lock on sometimes for this gun to be effective
